In retrospect, it’s amazing Brooklyn 99 ended up successful given the platform it came out on.
DE’Niro the GOAT . What a friend to have one of the greatest actors of all time, a true A-list celebrity to show up to your roast, because you asked him and because it’s for charity shows you what kind of person Robert De Niro is and he was hilarious. Never ever let us down.

I love all Comedy Central roasts! Maybe I have a mental difficulties, but something about them I crave. I’ve noticed even if I don’t care about the roasted actor I still watch. I like the fact of making fun of each other and just moving on. This is something my friends and I do regularly and the good nature roasting keeps us tighter!

I love that Carrie was able to laugh at herself, and take what were probably very difficult topics for her, and use them to make others laugh. That was Carrie. That was who she was and even though she struggled with so many things she was always able to push through and give her fans something to laugh about. And even though many of us have probably never met Carrie, it was that quality about her that made us all feel like we knew her intimately.
