Good line.
He didn't need to say anything, everything was revealed in the interaction. It would have been colder just to smirk and walk away.
@@TheWraith7 perhaps, if you watch shuffle and marlo vs zen and dialect there is a moment where this exact gesture plays out for real but in reverse, zen tries to frighten shuffle-t and he doesn't flinch or move at all, I contest it's because he feels genuinely dominant in the situation and isn't afraid, whereas in the clip here the opposite dynamic exists, JT's character knows he's a weasel deep down hence the reaction, I don't have a time stamp for the bit I refer to, but it's during shuffle and marlo's rounds, from memory it's when shuffle-t says "zennnnnnnnn".

The fact that Eduardo's mind so quickly goes back to Mark being jealous about the Phoenix Club and the article about the chicken tells you that he's been worried about Mark doing something like this for quite awhile. Those dark thoughts that creep into the back of your mind that articulate the worst case scenario, and you always try to tell yourself you're just overthinking things or worrying too much, but sometimes they're actually right.
Those dark thoughts are right more times than good people care to admit.

I saw the movie, but I don't know the whole story. But, seeing Sean Parker in this film gave me a gut wrenching feeling. I hope no one ruins my friendship like how he did with theirs.
If you have a true friendship + business partnership with one person, you have to choose wisely. Both of you should be able to lift each other all the time, be honest, work as a real ally.
I don't know about the reality, but in this movie Zuckerberg's tragedy was not simply ruining a friendship. The tragedy was that he lost the friendship the moment they started the business together. Zuckerberg was never able to maintain the friendship and lift each other as friends AND as business partners. He worked on his business and was unable to accept Saverin's moves or to integrate these moves with his own moves. That's how they ended up in different places, different business approaches and in a conflict where Zuckerberg chose to ignore Saverin and move him out of his business, ruining the friendship forever.
In real life partnerships (including marriage and dual business leaderships) you should manage carefully such power balances to get the best out of both of you. Otherwise the whole thing will collapse.
A true friendship can not be ruined by someone else.

4:05 You can tell Mark wasn't happy with the fact that Sean was mucking around with other coworkers such as Ashleigh. Seans fatal flaw was him not keeping business and personal affairs completely disconnected from each other. That becomes conflicts of interest and shakes the company. Kind of think that Mark did call on Sean at the party.
I think that's why he doesn't tell him a bout the CEO cards that Mark gets from Ashley. It was all orchestrated by Mark.
The one problem with this theory is that if Mark had gotten Sean arrested, he still would've sabotaged the momentum of growth for his own company, since the outcome would've been the exact same. He clearly knows this, as he explains to Sean multiple times over the phone. So why would he want to sink his own company? He wanted to get rid of Sean, and he had every reason to, but he knew this was not the way to do it.
The reason I think a lot of people agree with this theory is because of the end scene, when Delpy brings it up to Mark as an example of how to taint a jury's perception of him with a single question. It's almost like our own perception has been tainted as well.
@@VIMaggotVIBrainzVIMovie strongly suggests Mark has called the police. After the investment deal was complete and new key people got their shares, Sean was no longer required for the growth. Justin Timberlake is a great and underrated actor
lmaoooooooooooooo
😅😅😅..not even close
@@KoreshDabar-YHWHbenYisraelHow is be bad?
how's he bad? I don't even like the guy but can see he's a great actor@@starstuff333
Yeah he is solid. In Time is a great underrated movie too.
Anybody notice how Facebook has lost its popularity in recent years
I watched this movie when it first came out, found it credible and resolved avoid anything Mark Zuckerberg touches. I’ve never regretted it. 15 years later he’s trying to organize a cage match with Elon Musk. Adolescent jerk …
Of course the Elon fanboy ignores the fact that Elon called him out first tf you talking about 😂
@@YoureGhey I’m no fan of Elon either. Both adolescents.
@@tombombadyl4535Both can buy your whole family lineage
@@YoureGhey Oh god I'm an assoooooomer, I'm assoooooooming
Zuckerberg would beat the shit out of Elon, who also started this whole thing.
You just know Zuckerberg was watching this movie with a movie villain like smile
A detail about this clip/scene that I really like is that they couch the allusion to the coming of Instagram in a coked out, sleazy Sean Parker. Like even if he is douchebag, he wasn’t wrong lmao
Mark will buy the town of Lahaina. He’s very happy about the fire.
LOL
Zack Muckerburg would've put him in an arm bar for that outburst
I guess that's the flip side of being enormously wealthy and successful you always gotta watch your back
Glad they edited this.
Never realized but Timberlake is wearing a hoodie underneath a suit jacket
It's not a David Fincher movie without cops holding flashlights.
Here I am......SMOKING MEATS
Smoking meats and doing jiu-jitsu
I wonder if overzealousness is the root of all evil.
Ppl fuck up the line all the time. Ppl say “money is the root of all evil.”
It’s actually “the love of money is the root of all evil.” Idolatry at its finest. Cash is their god, and mark sacrificed ppl at its alter.🤷♂️
@@yasirb9172 either the money becomes their god, or they become their god.
I was on Facebook for a few years but got off it. I got sick of all the social craziness. Now I’m on Instagram which is a lot less crazy.
Facebook owns instagram
Bro are you mental? Instagram is part of Facebook and I can say to you that is becoming crazier and crazier with the world right now. The fact that influencers can get away with basically everything they do on the platform is mad. The reels of insta are incredibly pathetic, and they are a copy of what TikTok did (I don’t have because I think it’s stupid). You can find basically everything that’s wrong with our society in there and still see people cheer up to this shit.
In the end Facebook or Instagram there’s no difference but the period they were on top. Facebook on its peak was way more normal than Instagram. In the end Zuckerberg was an inspiration for others to become worse than him
@@giorgioripamonti777 I know Instagram is part of Facebook. And the reels are crazy but I prefer Instagram. So mind your own business and go find some other social media. I don’t have time for your long winded opinions. Goodbye 👋
Instagram is a fucking photo gallery combined with the toxic discourse of facebook. it's "a lot less crazy" because there's nothing there.
No more Facebook for me!
(goes on app owned by Facebook)
bro literally could have dodged everything if he just didn’t walk back in the room when he saw the cops, zero situational awareness lmao bros a sheep
Exactly - you run out the back door screaming "cops" as you go. You're three blocks away by the time the pigs have made it into the back yard.
Wow, they got 100,000 new users in 2 minutes. Not bad.
The thing that mainly got me about this scene was when Sean says 'somethings happened...' it has exactly the same tone, phrasing and aesthetic as Edward Norton's 'Narrator' character in Fight Club when he uses the phone during that movie
It really is the writing for me in this movie.
This clip just shows you why Andrew Garfield would be great to do the symbiotie storyline for TASM 3.
Andrew is too good for that shitshow am2 and nwh were bad enough
@@cursedbythebladethe tom holland spiderman fucking sucks ass, the only reason why nwh was slightest of good was because of fan service
They literally cannot even scratch the surface of what Tobey and Andrew did
Like no offence to Tom, he's an amazing actor given an absolute shitshow of a character to play
Top 5 Film of the 2010’s easily.
No😅
something I noticed: Zuckerberg/Eisenberg is wearing an Arm & Hammer shirt. And the Winklevoss twins were played by Armie Hammer
and its now years later we dont get any of our notifications while mark is snorting coke off dolphins
Andrew Garfield is one of the best actors of a generation, can’t understate how much he improves EVERY SINGLE MOVIE he is part of
