    Salmon with Creamy Leek
    2 pounds of salmon
    2 large leeks washed and chopped
    1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
    1 medium shallot chopped
    5 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste
    3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
    How to prepare:
    Heat up a pan with 3 tablespoons olive oil and butter. Add the leek and shallot, cook for approximately 3 minutes on low to medium heat. Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Cook for 2 more minutes and set aside. Season the salmon with 2 tablespoons olive oil, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Pour the creamy leek on top and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 400° F

    Salmão Assado com Alho-Poró
    1 kg de salmão
    2 alhos-porós grandes lavados e picados
    1/2 xícara de creme de leite fresco
    1 chalota média picada
    5 colheres de sopa de azeite
    2 colheres de sopa de manteiga
    1 colher de chá de páprica defumada
    Sal a gosto
    Pimenta a gosto
    3 colheres de sopa de queijo parmesão ralado
    Como preparar:
    Aqueça uma frigideira com 3 colheres de sopa de azeite e a manteiga. Adicione o alho-poró e a chalota, cozinhe por aproximadamente 3 minutos em fogo baixo a médio. Adicione o creme de leite e o queijo parmesão. Cozinhe por mais 2 minutos e reserve. Tempere o salmão com 2 colheres de sopa de azeite, páprica defumada, sal e pimenta. Despeje o creme de alho-poró por cima do salmão e leve ao forno por 10 a 15 minutos a 204°C

    People get intimidated by leeks due to the fact that you have to overly wash them in water 💦 because they grow into the ground but it’s worth it!

      That's true, washing leeks can be a bit of work, but the amazing flavor they add to dishes is worth the effort! A good tip is to cut the leeks in half and rinse them under running water to remove all the dirt. It’s definitely worth it!
