Met Ted mckenna in Monklands hospital 15 years ago. I'm now in my 60s.i was living it large. Booze. Coke.excess in life. Chance meet.cant remember who he was with at that time. Rory gallagher/shenker. Can't remember. He took me aside and took me apart. He saved my life to enjoy my kids and grandkids. Lots of luv to all the mkenna family. X
Wow! More great footage of the greatest - in fact, Most Sensational - band to ever come out of Scotland! Thanks for this. I hope you have the whole show in this quality...! That be goood....
Yea! Very rare. Don't think I've actually seen that before. Which is weird, I've searched so often. Still some gems out there. P s. Saw them without at the Rainbow. Marvelous stuff. Silent movie soundtrack King Kong rock version opener. People stunned. Hysterical.
Come on in! I'm gonna teach you how to swim! Release of this album was the period when I saw the band live and so I really appreciate any video of Impossible Dream songs.
I think I may have seen this band in Mpls, Mn in 74 or 75 they were having issues with the audio and didnt play very long. Yes it was them I remember the name now. Missing brain cells and all, I dont remember who they opened for maybe Deep Purple.
They were great but I just think they were far too eclectic to be a megga band. I loved Faith Healer and listened for more of the same. There wasnt any. Zal Cleminson recently said pretty much the same thing in an interview.
I can't believe the audience was so reserved! SAHB was so good I would have been standing on my chair!! The most underrated band - EVER!
One of the best bands to come out of the.... well world really!
Vaudeville, Burlesque and Rock and Roll!
Utterly marvellous song plus performance......should have been a huge hit back in '73....wit, style and class....

The Sensationals were a fabulous band. Highly entertaining on stage. I particularly liked how humour was always part of their show.

Fantástico! Show
That bass player looks like Steve priest from Sweet .
Great band and terrific to see this but why the canned laughter and applause?

Great band & great music, but why have "fake canned laughter" & applause at the "funny bits !!
Chingoneria
Alex Harvey was the band, end of. The rest were hangers on.
Oh shut up! All brilliant in their own right with an incredible conductor in Alex.
Not true. Do a wee bit o research bud before spouting utter shite.
