    I use the titles all the time, especially the glitch titles, which look fabulous.
    Next time I am doing titles I shall be using some of these tips.
    Cheers Patrick

    I have been watching all your videos. I now have the DaVinci Resolve installed but never used it. Few years ago, I was working with animating CAD, and I get a feel that the basics are just the same when it comes to Keyframes and animations. Thanks a lot for the efforts you put in making these videos, and they really motivate me to start doing some experiments with the software.

    That's interesting, I've always used anim curves for this but keyframe stretcher seems so much more useful

      same camera, just in a little better of a situation where I can optimize quality. also shooting 4k30 instead of 1080/60 which gives me some more leeway on aperture. Glad it's showing!

    I think it only shows the inner nodes if you have the full version.

    yo dude... im having a problem with the KEYSTRETCHER NODE... im trying to use it alongside the new MEDIA IN using the MEDIA SOURCE BACKGROUND passthrough feature they added in 18.5 so that I can make a time stretchable title that lets me use some custom transparency taking advantage of the video elements below the fusion clip in the timeline... but combining the keystretcher node with the media in node in this way seems to break everything and i just get a black screen... any thoughts? thanks

  • @apeel2008
    @apeel2008 Před 2 lety

    So does that mean if, in your example where the default is 5-seconds, that if you shorten the clip to less than 5-seconds then the animation at the end will abruptly stop? I have run into that issue, so I wish the default title lengths would be ~3-seconds. Is there an easy fix to this issue if you want to shorten a clip below its default setting? Also, would you consider a more in-depth tutorial on the other check mark options available in the Inspector of the keyframe stretcher?

    • @zorrothebug
      @zorrothebug Před 2 lety

      Only the length of the In-animation plus the length of the out-animation defines how long the composition has to be on the edit page to render the animation complete. That's the part outside the "strech zone" Patrick like to call it in this video. Everything inside the strech zone will be stretched or squished depending on how long you set the length of the clip on the edit page.
      If your animation ends prematurely you need to set the "Strech End" value to the frame just before the out-animation starts. Fusion will preserve those frames after the strech end and will render them.
