New video about one of the most talked about families we've seen over the last few years in football. In this episode we take on Haaland and his family who have been putting out incredible numbers and causing chaos on social media. - Sport
Haaland's family is quietly building an entire team out of only Haalands. They will represent the nation of Haaland.
Why not?
😂
Team of Braut’s not Haalands lol
@@krowaswieta7944 They have to hurry, Erling is getting old now so that's how it is.
They are not all Haalands. Albert Tjåland, for example, is from his Mother's side. Maternal heritage.
Hazard: My family is full of athletes
Haaland: Hold my beer!
For real
Hold our burgers 😂
@@oluwatobiesan5889 lol
Boateng: Hold Ballacks ankle!
Hold my brunost
Norway has a golden generation, especially in the striker position: Håland, Tjaland, Sørloth, Larsen, Brunes. They’ll need to play with a 2 man strike partnership.
Thjaland is not that good I have seen it many times
norway has a golden generation ecpecially in football and track and field :D
As a Norwegian; half of those you mentioned are not good enough, and Haaland has never played well in a partnership. Not for Salzburg, not for Dortmund, and not for Norway when he has partnered with Sørloth. He has to play as a single advanced forward. Thats why we are sometimes playing Sørloth on wings or as a shadow striker, or an attacking midfielder. If you want obscure Norwegian wonderkids look at Marcus Holmgren Pedersen who in my opinion, has the potential to be a champions league wingback. Want something even more obscure? Max Normann Williamsen for Kristiansund is touted to be our next great central defender.
Tbh I think haaland is better off as a sole striker
Haalands a lone ranger
i'm from Leeds and my mother used to do art classes with Haaland's mum. I actually met him when he was very young, taught him a thing or too explains his success
Norway has 4 national team players now that are sons of national team players that played in the World Cup & Euros in the 90's , that's something to make a video about!
Alexander Sørloth, Erling Braut Haaland, Patrick Berg and Kristian Thorstvedt.
Their fathers played in the same team in the 0-0 game against England at Wembley in 1994!
Gøran Sørloth. Alfie Haaland, Ørjan Berg and Erik Thorstvedt.
Also Patrick's grandfather played for the national team.
What a great father / son story! :D
That's really cool!
The Berg family (Henning Berg - Blackburn, Manchester Utd etc is not one of them) is crazy. 1 grandfather, 3 sons and 1 grandson, all playing at the highest level.
Small world
maybe that has something to do with Norway having a population of 10 people
Please do one on guti, the galactico that never was. He's an exciting player and interesting character
He's on my list, really interesting character indeed
Good call !

Thanks man, means a lot! Glad you've stuck around for so long
Your already great Daily Dose videos are even getting better with quality content like this.
I hope you reach 100 k subs soon. You deserve them. Muito obrigado de Colômbia!
Thanks man! Gracias!
Really great video, showing the detail and research you put into your work.
The problem for Jonatan Braut Brunes at Lillestrøm now is that the Lillestrøm striker Thomas Lehne Olsen is bagging goals nonstop being number 2 on the top scorer charts.
This video is worthy a support subscription, great work!
You talk about how it's a reasonable doubt that Alf Inge's career was ruined because of Roy Keane, since he had a surgery on the other knee and not the one Keane smashed. Well some physician said that because of the surgery, Alf Inge had to put more pressure on the knee that Roy Keane smashed (or other way around), which is plausible.
Good point yeah
Yep that’s entirely plausible I blew my ACL and they had to use bit of my hamstring to fix it and it’s led me to have real issues with some stuff, as good as surgery can be it’ll never be as good as before
Tore Andre Flo was my favorite striker from Norway, still remember Norway for beating Brazil in 1998 WC.
I didn't like the semantics with which you expressed about Haaland's Mom. English is my second language but I think your syntax fails to hail praise to her. Heptathlon. Man, have you met anyone running above 40k? Pro footballers run an average of 100ks a week. Pro runners can run above 150, just saying. This means Haaland's Mom was a freaking super athlete, disregard whether she topped or not number one as an athlete. been following your channel for the last three years. Peace
My channel doesn't have 3 years though, but I'm guessing you mean for a long time so thanks.
Haaland's is amazing, never meant to downplay her achievements
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT thanks for the reply. Like, I wait for each video cause it's work done with a lot of love for the game. Think you tend to pay respect to incredible players giving a bit of inside their personal lives. I appreciate, like your work dearly.
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT 🤭..
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT they are probably referring to when you said "is she a super athlete? kind of, but not really" I mean considering her achievements I'd say she was certainly a super athlete.
Another great video buddy !
Thanks!
Another great video, dude!
thanks a lot
Good video, but I've got a quick correction. Jonatan scored those 10 goals in the third tier, not the second. In Norway the division system goes
Eliteserien(1st tier)
1. Divisjon(2nd Tier)
2.divisjon(3rd tier)
The last time i heard great player from Norway was when MG Pedersen banging performance with Blackburn circa 2005-2009. Good to hear that seems like Norway start to having their golden generation soon
Man, Amazing video
Thanks!
They were genetically made in a lab to conquer football😄🔥
I know of Heptathlon females compete in seven different track and field events and whosoever with the highest points wins after all the events have been completed , the decathlon is 10 events competed by the males.
Brunes is banging in goals this season looks really good and a lot like Haaland tbh
Nice vid
From a norwegian;
Tjåland isn't really concidered a huge prospect, I'm not really sure where you found those numbers, but I'm not sure they're real. It's true that he scored in his debut for Molde (in the cup). He hasn't made a another appearance for the first team since.
Brunes plays as a striker for Lillestrøm. His gametime is limited because of Lehne-Olsen (the first-choice striker at Lillestrøm), but he has scored 1 and given 1 assist in 17 matches (only starting one)
Numbers are cross referenced on multiple websites
Suggestion: Exactly how crazy was Rene Higuita?!
for sure ahah, the answer is "very crazy"

Halaand Is good, very very good. But onestly i consider Reus the best in BvB. I would really like a video about him. Keep going great!
For sure happening, I've done gotze so it's a matter of time ahah
Reus is a great player but he has also been massively overrated for most of his career, he is in no way better than Haaland at the moment and the fact that many genuinely believe him to be better than Thomas Muller is mind-boggling.
It is as if in Italy many professionals and fans genuinely believed Giuseppe Signori to be better than Del Piero or in England Kanchelskis was rated higher than Beckham , a complete misjudgment of talent.
Muller also used to be massively overrated like Reus between 2013 and 2016 but he has become mostly underrated in recent seasons.
Reus is good, but BVB have suffered with Reyna being injured. That kid is going to be something special too.
@@lindseyormsbee I have heard about Reyna being a talented youngster.
@@lindseyormsbee Reus is a great player but no game-changer at this stage of his career imo.

thats not much of sportsmanship when you take revenge.
I live in Norway, and we do have a tendency to develop more athletes than normal for a small country thanks to our sport culture, but we are, and have been a terrible football nation for a long time now. That some family with freakish physical attributes can dominate the lower levels of Norwegian football does not surprise me very much at all, but I doubt any of them has the same strong mentality and skill that is needed to reach someone like Erlings level. To try and compare them to him simple because of name is unfair I think especially while they are so young and unknown to the world.
Not to mention that we have had quite a few of these kinds of footballing families. Flo and Berg being the most prominent, but there are others as well.
I guess it is easier to figure out how to become good enough to play professionally when you have relatively close family that can show you the ropes. Anyone really can become good enough for pro play if they figure out how to train and live. Beyond that, and you also need actual talent.
Savicevic, Gullit, Elber, Signori, Effenberg, Caniggia, Asprilla, Assuncao, Redondo, Hooijdonk, Mihajlovic, Mijatovic, Morientes, Balbo, Hassler, Cafu or Nedved next, please.
I've done Nedved

I understood that it was just to facilitate understanding, but the heptathlon (as well as the male version of the declato) bear no resemblance to triathlon.
In triathlon you practice all three disciplines together in the same race, in heptathlon you practice each discipline separately and the winner comes from a points system.

Hi
Hi!
Unfortunately, nepotism is alive and well in today's sports. I see it as a form of austerity. In addition, there are payoffs and people paid to not play at their full potential and officials paid to look the other way. Not to say that they don't have talent. However, let them earn their own way. They don't need the leg up!
Hmm I don't know if nepotism is exactly what's going on here tbh
@@DailyDoseOfFootballYT Right. This comment is off.
Just because people are related doesn't automatically mean 'conspiracy'. If they're quality players (I've only seen Erling who definitely is top quality) then the answer is on their feet.
There have been a lot of talented footballers who have gotten nepotism though, Jordi Cruyff wasn't near his father's level, and for his early years his father influenced his opportunities. But in time he was phased out of top level stuff, peaking at Alaves in the Uefa Cup.
Imagine saying Paolo Maldini was a case of nepotism because of his father's success? Paolo far surpassed his father who was successful in his own right.
There are absolutely loads of footballers who have fellow pro siblings who are nowhere near their level and get the opportunities they deserve. Pogba has a brother who is Saint Etienne standard (might qualify for Europa League once in a while) and another who is far behind him.
The De Boer twins were both quality players. No nepotism there, the inferior one, Ronald, was very very good and could play well in a number of positions.
I could go on but I've gone on long enough.
