Viggen - 50 years anniversary

On this day 1967 Saab Viggen made its maiden flight with our chief test pilot Erik Dahlström behind the stick. Viggen was a powerful machine, a state of the art fighter system of its time and the backbone of the Swedish Air Force during decades. It was delivered to the Swedish Air Force in 1971 and was in active service as a fighter until 2005. Here’s our tribute to the mighty Viggen.
