  • This tutorial explains a building technique that can be used to create a plane that rises at right angles to the spine. This can then bu used to build pop-up structures that rise on one side of the spread.

    In this tutorial..for the other side of 90, can we use more than 45 degree..?? (in the base..the left side 90, and the right side 60..??)..and for pop up 30 degree at the top of 90 degree..

      This is an Asymmetric V-Fold - the theory is explained in Tutorial 4 - probably the best thing to do is watch Tutorial 4 and then make a few experimental examples to find the angles that best suit your project.

      @@thepop-upchannel4919 Thanks. I had watched that one previously. Spent 2 hours trying and failing to replicate this 95/40 degree piece. Math was never my strong suit.

      This mechanism is in quite an obscure corner of the pop-up world - there are a lot of paths that can be explored that don't need any measuring.
