Pop-Up Tutorial 22 - Adding Extra Creases Part 2 - Counter-folds

- Counter-folds are a key pop-up building technique. They can be added to both mountain folds and valley folds - they can be used to modify the shape of a basic pop-up or they can be used to generate extra planes which become the "muscle" for lifting larger pieces of card.
Duncan thanks so much for these. I live in a location it's difficult to get pop up books. but with these tutorials I can implement all the ideas playing around in my head.
I’m so thankfull i’ve found this channel! In september I’m going to have an exam to enter scenography school and part of it will be centered on paper pop-ups.

Not wasted! Valuably used! And certainly making these things is the best way to learn. You could put your experiments together into a little reference book (see Tutorial 84), or you could put them into the recycling. All good.
