Another brilliant writer, Sir Terry Pratchett, the beloved author of the Discworld series of fantasy novels, suffered a rare form of early onset Alzheimer's, called posterior cortical atrophy. Symptoms include difficulty reading, recognising objects and judging distances. Problems with spelling and calculation are common. As you can imagine, for an author it's an absolute disaster. Career ending. Memory loss and confusion come later when the disease spreads to more parts of the brain. It's a crying shame that it happens to people with such brilliant intellect.

Given that NYPD Blue was a series that had the ability to continue, indefinitely annoyed the cast.
Deadwood, on the other hand, had a clear ending (not that it was ever truly realized) to it.

Was there ever an official count how many times the phrase Cock Sucker was used. In the total run of show. My opinion is Calamity Jane played by Robin Weigert. One of the best shows HBO ever did!

I’ve worked with great talent too and I’m so good I improvise most of all my scenes, but I wouldn’t deviate one word from Mr Milch and I’m a great actor and horrible with auditions lol. The dialogue in this picture sends me, and then brings me back and around like a yo yo and it’s so sexy laced with violence and filthy language to I suppose replace words like scoundrel with MF because the impact in 2019, is not the same at all as it was in 1876. No wait it’s words like Cock S. Oh wow!!!

Deadwood was an Outstanding series...Early in the intro is a shot of miner biting a gold nugget with rotten teeth but as great as this series became (and the attention to detail) , I would often be, slightly, distracted by the perfect white teeth of the Cast (Dentalwood)...Someone should have noticed and corrected this obvious incongruity.

I was late to Deadwood, having never been a huge western guy. But my future wife suggested it after I had a back injury and was couch bound. Let me say percocet and Deadwood.... 👌. There us a story that Ed O'Neal tells where the legendary John Milius was low on funds to cover his son's law school. Milius approaches Milch for a job. Milch says, "fuck you John, if I saw you sitting at the table, grinding out copy with these youngsters... it would break my fucking heart". So Milch covers John's son's law school and shortly after... Milius lands lead writer for ROME. Up until G O T, I was shouting from the mountaintop about Deadwood and Rome. I just want this to be known.
