    Have been following your channel for the past couple of years and have purchased a SVS Sb1000 pro, REL HT1003, RSL CG3m and now Rythmik LV12M based on your recommendations. Your reviews have always been very helpful and spot on. Really appreciate your concise no nonsense approach. The Rythmik is a little rediculous for the level of output and sound quality it gives for the money. I've been put off by ported subs in the past but love it. You weren't kidding when you said it sounds like a sealed sub. Nonetheless, I'll stop rambling. You've saved me a tremendous amount of time and money over the years so just wanted to take a minute to say thank you!

      Hi Gavin, thank you for taking the time to type that, it's hard to know from my end if I have any impact. The CG3M are pretty cool, they have their limits due to size but they're very nicely tonally balanced. I let a buddy borrow them that owns the Arendal 1961 towers, of course the CG3M is not as good as those but he was super surprised by how much he liked them.

      @@NemoPropaganda You probably have bigger impact than your view count indicates. You do a better job of highlighting a products performance characteristics, caveats and best use cases than any other reviewer I've come across over the years. Your comparisons are also very consistent and set realistic expectations. I feel like your reviews are significantly more likely to result in an informed purchasing decision as a result but that is just my unsolicited two cents lol. I use the CG3m with the REl ht1003 for a small/low volume office stereo. Love it for that use, don't feel like it needs a lot of volume to sound it's best. Really love it's overall tonal balance, clarity and neutral sound. Bought the REL for $350 at end of life so I feel like the system is a bargain overall.

I just picked an LV12M up and your videos helped a whole lot. Thanks! Im running sealed box bookshelf Merlin TSM MM starving for bass .The extra SPL and authority for a very small amount of SQ loss compared to F12 is totally worth. Magnepan .7s on the way the damned audiophile bug!! The LV12M should integrate with the Maggies well. We'll see how long it takes before adding a second LV12M or maybe FVX12. Thanks for reviewing rythmik subs. Its surprising to see them get so little attention with that servo technology. Ive tried the sb1000, emotiva xs8, and klipsch 10 inch and was pretty unhappy. They definitely all have strong spl output but lack the midbass articulation and start stop behavior that i crave. Im using klipsch the fives and they have some amazing speed for a $450 powered monitor but with a sub they crossover at 80hz so the midbass lacks so much detail. Hoping the lv12m will get the job done with some authority! Thanks again for the reviews i appreciate your vocabulary and how you explain how each product sounds and where it excels and who its for i find it so rare for reviewers to speak as well as you do.

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The E110 is triple the price so a comparison doesn't really make sense but both subs will be fine at lower volumes. If you listen that low the more affordable L12 would make more sense or the very small JL D110.

    when comparing any rythmik sub to any other product and you consider 1.the servo technology and the 2,manual integration features 3. warranty 3/5 4. bang for buck 5. every sub they sell has atleast a f3 of 20hz basically any 1 you choose is low enough 4 ht and is fast enough for music 6. all there amps are interchangeable so if it dies after the 3yr warranty you can get a replacement 7. they are a subwoofer only co.........so aside from looks is there really a comparison

    20 years ago I built a dedicated HT (tiered seating, 126" screen, windowless, etc.) in my house in Texas. I had a fantastic SVS PB12-ISD/2 sub with dual 12" downfiring drivers that would shake the whole house. Of course, it was the size of a large coffee table too - a very large coffee table. I sold all of my gear and relocated to NC. I'm 60 years old and the kids are gone and a HT is no longer a consideration, but I'd like to have decent sound when watching the occasional movie in my living room. It's a large space (19' X 20' with vaulted ceilings and an adjacent kitchen/dining area). I still have my Axiom speakers from the theatre that I intend to use, but have no sub. Was thinking about an SVS SB-2000 (just cause I like the brand) or an Emotiva XS12 (I used to have some of their early stuff and liked it too), but recently learned of the LV12M. I know none of those options are going to fill my space with booming bass, but I'm thinking the LV12M is probably the best option, correct? I'd like to be able to feel/hear a bit of the bass when I'm watching a movie on Netflix or the latest episode of Survivor. :)

    • @NemoPropaganda
      @NemoPropaganda  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Hi Kevin, I hear ya! The SB2000 pro is not bad in any way it's just significantly smaller than the LV12m so naturally the LV12m is going to have a lot more grunt and that matters since your room is on the bigger side. With that out of the way let's move on to the the emotiva XS range, here's the simple truth, it is extremely rare that a product is so good nobody else comes close but rythmik is such a company. Nobody, and I mean nobody makes a vented sub that has the fidelity of a rythmik sub. Emotiva's XS range is fine, theres nothing wrong with it but Rythmiks vented subs are simply unchallenged.

I had a Sony dh590 and it got the job done in my opinion. I had some Polk audio bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch sub. I wasn’t happy with sub at all. My question is if I’m building a system for mainly music should I go with a receiver or integrated amp? I was fine with the Sony and I can pick that up for around 250 bucks. I want to spend less then 400 bucks for the receiver if possible and around 300 bucks for speakers. I’m a hip hop rap music lover like you and I’m torn between the lv12m and the rsl 12s. The 12s is the insane option. If you want as much earth shatterring bass for your money and they physical size of the 12s is not a problem I 1000% recommend it. But if it's too big then go for the smaller LV12M. These are literally extreme opposites in terms of size. The 12s is the largest vented 12 on the market while the LV12M is among the smallest. Both can play plenty loud for their respective sizes and both have very good sound quality, slight edge to the LV12M for SQ. Hope that helps.

      Got it! Okay so, while technically the L12 is a smidgen tighter than the LV12m Rythmik's servo tech does a really good job at getting the vented subs to have the SQ of their sealed counterparts to the point that I think most people should simply choose based on the form factor they need (shape/size) and output needs. The sound quality of either one is very good. I say go for LV12m unless you feel its just phsycially too large, then go for the L12. Of course lets remember that the vented LV12M can play around twice as loud and will be more forceful in the lower end so 1 LV12M is similar to a pair of L12 if that makes sense.

I'm disappointed rythmik changed their line up I think the LVX12 would have been the monster king affordable sub, 100 more watts, bigger enclosure, but $200 cheaper than their fvx12. @@mcjonner I think it makes more sense to have the LV12M that is $400 cheaper than the FVX12. Rythmiks L lineup is very customer feedback driven in regards to price. If Rythmik made the Vented L more affordable it was due to customer feedback asking for a more affordable entry level vented 12. It's the same with the L12, that sub was born from customer feedback asking for a more affordable F12.

    I'm in the market for a new subwoofer after living with a Dayton Titanic 10" sealed sub for over 20 years. Who do I look to for advice? The king of subs (especially when considering music), my man Nemo. I think with my budget and needs I'm landing on the Rythmik LV12M. This just seems perfect. Have about a 10k 2-channel system but it's mixed in with HT, however it's music 90% of the time. I need more impact and output for movies that my Dayton 10" sealed just can't provide but the sub has to be very tight and nuanced for my primarily music based system. Room is about 13.5 x 27. Re: 80hz for whatever reason
    Nemo, correct me if I am wrong but I am going to guess why it doesn't make sense is due to the fact that most speakers roll off 50 hz and below. Crossing over your subs that high means you now have a "double" bass situation, potentially making it really boomy and/or just not integrating well?
    I have crossed over that high in the past for my two channel only system due to the fact that where I had my speakers and listening position produced the best stereo image came at a cost of some bass issues around 70-90hz and/or room arrangement issues. So I intentionally HPF my speakers around that range with my preamp, ...a feature in the two channel world that seems like a unicorn...and have my subs picked up the rest.
    I have since changed the arrangement of my room and built "bass traps" where I no longer need to HPF my speakers.
