Well technically (in cannon) palps could have made that story up. And was just using it to manipulate Anakin.
Since we haven’t seen any other cannon evidence of Plagueis I believe. Which is why people want him to appear in something so bad to actually solidify him.

Just how technically we have not had mention of him outside of RoTS in that scene. And since his novel and other EU material is legends, we can’t use that to add more info about him to cannon.
Example. Palps kills him in his sleep after he was drunk in the novel, but we have no idea if that’s the case in cannon.
So yes I have been a SW fan for quite some time, and know all of this legends stuff as well. I’m just saying until we actually see/have more concrete evidence of Plagueis in cannon, he technically could just be a story Palps used to manipulate Anakin.(despite how much EU fans want to take all the legends stuff as cannon)

I can tolerate A LOT, but those guard rails took me completely out of the episode. I get the real set had to meet safety standards, but they couldn’t edit them out?
If they didn’t ruin Snoke in The Rise of Skywalker, they could have made it that he was an extremely old and long lived powerful Dark Side user that would eventually get usurped by Plageuis and Sidious, but could have been the major threat around this time, and then tie back into the Last Jedi with him coming back to take over the Empire after Palpatines demise. I liked Snoke, they really ruined him.
There should not have been snoke; that should have been plageuis. Then the story been full circle with the return of Darth Plageuis as the bad guy behind the scenes
@@yehoshuas3548 No, Plageuis was dead and him surviving Palpatine would have ruined Palpatine. Snoke was good but he needed more of a back story other than just being a clone Palpatine possessed. That ruined Snoke, Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi ruined Snoke. The Original scripts had Snoke eventually becoming a bigger, badder, more powerful and terrifying villain than Palpatine ever was, but Rian Johnson just had to “let the past die” and completely and utterly ruin the sequel trilogy. He ruined Star Wars, but thankfully John Favreau saved it with The Mandalorian.
I agree. I really thought that was Palpatine tho. That they were like eternal sith that made a pact. That he would usher Palpatine back in so they could be once again, master and apprentice. I certainly think plaguis should have directly been attatched to Snoke

They just dont talk about it but Cortosis is also used in ship hulls as a mixed alloy to help with laser damage from ship to ship combat.
When Osha put on the helmet, I was kind of expecting a jumpscare at the last minute. The helmet flies off her head and we get a brief glimpse of the Sith master and then the credits roll.
And then DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS starts playing ouh ahh aahh ahh!

Okay I might remember this wrong, but didn´t Tenebrous have two apprentices, Darth plagueis AND Darth Venamis? We could have a retcon of Venamis story, so he got discarded by his jedi master, joined Tenebrous and he is competing with Plagueis to see who becomes the true apprentice. Qirmir/Venamis could be looking for his own apprentice, so he has help fighting Plagueis. Qimir / Venamis gets killed by a young Plagueis in the end of season 2 or 3. And if it continues we could follow Mai and Osha´s fight against Tenebrous and Plagueis. Ps. Ki-Adi-Mundi is a lying piece of ****

If Plaguis is ever done in a movie it needs to be done right. Disney I hate to say cannot do it. The script and director have to be tight. Tony Gilroy might do it justice….
I still say it’s one of Venamis’s apprentice’s that escaped, he had six. Plagueis killed 3 and the others died or vanished if I recall.
Plagueis didn’t want an apprentice till he realized how strong Palpatine was. He was in his late teens-20’s and then just randomly murders his entire family and guards with the force. Then tried to kill Plagueis and at that point, Plagueis revealed himself. But the only reason he took him on was because he thought he could help with his experiments in the force.
I thought the same, especially when Qimir stated that their master (his and Osha's) loves to collect people. He told her the truth then because even though Qimir is Osha's "master", Qimir's master is the real master.
It would be nice if this plays out in season 2.

Yeah, that was his Legends approximate age in this time, and now they change the lifespan of aliens to whatever they want, like they did with Ki-Adi Mundi, so they'll probably roll with the more directly connected, already mentioned in the movies name - Plagueis.

The thing about legends books is that they are not hand cuff to it. Legend stories could be word for word accounts or exaggerated. They never restricted themselves to the books back then because they didn't want to kill the creative process and unknown of the story.

That mark is deffo vinestras whip. Them bugs don’t attack you if you have your lightsaber off as we saw episodes before. They used it as a chance to show you what weapon venestra possess. After showing you the mark on Qimirs back. I reckon he was venestras padawan. They’re gonna frame sol for this. Sol is gonna die so is qimir and osha leaving a perfect cover up. But considering next episode is a flashback the last episode has got to be like an hour and a half minimum.

You have to remember that the era of this is still during tenebrouses rule and is ~60 years before plagueis was even the sixth master and would be set when he was starting his apprenticeship

If we're going by the Darth Plagueis book that you mentioned, Plagueis would be at the oldest 15 years old, which wouldn't make any sense. His old master could be Darth Tenebrous.
this is exactly how the show was supposed to go...so much of nothing happening in the story that the small fanbase makes their own story for it so the writers don't have to try

Qimir could be plagueis, maybe he found a way to slow his aging process. Palpatine said he found a way to cheat death, and the power to create life was something entirely different (people often forget these are two distinct scenes taking about 2 different abilities in ROTS). His species also isnt confirmed in canon. I also think his starship is also quite an understated hint. Plagueis' master built starships for a living so the fact he has quite a fancy sithesque ship makes me think it was given to him

Well ,you of course watch what Headlend said officially, but you also ignored some other official that she said. First. Qimir is the Sith lord. 2. Was stated before Acolyte is pupil of Apprentice. 3. After ep 5 ,she confirmed we will see both sith. We see Apprentice, Qimir,and at the end more logically ,we will see master. That's it. No need to interpret it your way,even more likely we already see Plegues in canon. Qimir is. More likely,however ,Plegues still can be his master. I think no. More likely he's Plegues and his master is Tenebrus. Also when you ask about canon version of him,I would ask you why he doesn't have his sith eyes,maybe he hidden not only his scars ,his age,but also his race. Ok.

The show ends with the 2 darths killing everyone the green chic and her squad of jedi, sol and the twins and qimire for exposing them. Qimir is the green chics fallen padawan.Also the knights of Ren are just darkside users not sith. They're are darkside users that aren't sith. But without the sith star wars doesn't exist. This is what Disney doesn't understand
I think you're a lot smarter than Leslye Headland. I think she's more apt to gear the story toward the sequels than focusing on George Lucas' story. I doubt she'd done the research to be able to tell any of the stories you're suggesting. She was a close associate of Harvey Weinstein and is considered by many to be a horrible person. Rein Johnson's Star Wars story is one she really liked and so I think she's more apt to ruin more canon and cause problems that to connect any dots in the correct manner.
i would love they would not put plagueis into that show. this is something that would kick off and would overshadowing the bad parts of the show so heavily that folks forgotten the first 4-5 episodes how bad it is and call the show something like "its awesome cause we have plagueis into that" i would love to see a second season with sol and qimir and from another writing team and other director. someone who will just take the show serious and create some atmosphere and tention.
