House of the dragon has a similar budget to The Acolyte, yet their episodes are twice as long, get 10 instead of 8, and it looks a Hell of a lot better. Where TF did the money go?

She is saying budget reasons. This means that they are using Apple technology as their safe bet to keep Star Wars going. It may not be for every project, but because there were a lot of cancellations to past projects, they had to scramble to what they can work with and then push what they could with Macs, iPads and iPhones which are a more cheaper option, with higher performance for less power consumption, than Nvidia and Intel chips that saps away nearly a thousand watts an hour.
They already didnt have a fight scene for Torbin...this is just lazy.

If he is a Sith he is a acolyte or assassin under Tenebrous. Right? Time-line wise they did say they pulled from legends a lot.
He is an acolyte, just a random dark force user who stumbled across a sith holocron or an unknown apprentice. The current sith master would be either Darth Tenebrous or his master Darth Rampage.
@communitylo3313 sounds right that's why I was saying if he was he would be possibly under Tenebrous but trained like Maul was. He could also be an apprentice/assassin to a dead lord or apprentice also. I think I'd like it better if he wasn't connected to any known ones though and maybe they dive into some of the many other darkside groups.

I think Kiameer is the apprentice and the women witch(I don’t remember her name) that carried the twins is the Sith Lord. That’s why u didn’t see her body in the dead witch scene and why the Sith Lord is using a voice changer.
You spell his name Qimir, and the other named witch is Mother Koril
It would have been really good writing if we had seen the kelnacca fight earlier on in the episode, and in the end we would have seen the result of the fight, with the viewer not really sure when things are taking place until the end of the episode.
Also retake ALL forest scenes. They were so hard to watch.
Couldnt rly be Plagueis unless they change up the story. Cuz in legends then Plagueis would be 15 years old at this point, 10 years since Tenebrous got him as his apprentice... so either they change up the story and delay Plagueis's apprenticeship, and make Tenebrous the master... or make Plagueis older and have him as the master... where he got Qimir as the apprentice until he got Sidious...

There are more flashbacks coming so we will see a Jedi Wookie fight scene, but I still agree with u. Hopefully we will see more of Indarra fighting too
I get that people are disappointed in the Jedi foursome appearing weak and haven’t done much in the present time but I think that fits into the Roshoman approach to the story that some people thinks that lies ahead in the remaining part of the series. I think the director is presenting the foursome intentionally as broken and already dead in principle. Who they were likely will be presented in the backflash.

I don't think they deleted it. This show is edited in such a way that it confuses everyone. Its out of order and I'm sure we will see the fight scene in a later episode some how 🤦🏻♂️

I don’t buy the POV-breaking excuse. Star Wars breaks POV all the time! ANH starts out with the droids POV, we get Vader’s POV, we get Luke’s. It’s a real shame he didn’t get a proper death scene.

Episode four was slow paced and just strange to watch, the acting got worse and at the very end Mae just got confusing and the cliffhanger wasn’t even that suspenseful.

Disney really dropped the ball with this series it’s quite a disappointment the way this series was done. Could have been so much better. Sell lucasfilm Disney.
The show has some issues for sure. They probably would’ve had better reactions if they would have just put all the episodes out at once.
I do have a problem with some of the editing, but none of you guys will be satisfied until George Lucas jumps back on ship in rewrites, a series or movies.

All the crying and complaining is exhausting. People were saying the same thing about Asoka. Which turned out to be way better than expected.
The same criticism came from Andor that it wasn’t Star Wars enough and that was the best written and directed show They’ve done since season one/two of The Mandalorian. But of course, people were crying and complaining and crying and complaining like babies.

Seen a video today of a Disney employee being talking to an undercover journalists where he basically says they openly (within the company) discriminate against white people and that he himself lost out on a promotion because of his skin colour. I would recommemd everybody watch this. The company doing it was called OMG (i think it was O Keefe Media Group). He said they were financially incentivised to hire non white people. Just blatant racism from the company that constantly calls its fans racist

No the show is straight up trash and can’t story tell nor have any great dueling scenes. This is disappointing and I can’t wait to see everyone who is a fan of the true Star Wars content and walk away
