      lol. The camera stuff is always a challenge with how complicated we've made it and it seems like something always goes wrong. We fix one thing and another goes bad. I usually can fix it enough in post but it would be nice if it all came together easier.
      Thanks for watching Randy!

    Great video Paisty.
    Keep going with the full video’s, we need something to watch to get us through summer. Lol

      Thanks kranky. I'll put you down for 1 vote for full ride videos. There's just so much content that I recorded that it adds up so quick. On day 3 I'll skip quickly through the launch from the house and get right to the main trail ridding. Part 2 will have more trail riding and a couple of planned stops.
      Thanks for watching.

      @@Paisteboy no worries, I like the longer videos personally.
      Going need something to get us through the summer.
      I think everyone looks forward to your videos no matter how long or how many you got .
      Your videos are downloaded to a playlist on my phone to get me through the off season.
      PS tell Shag to get cracking on some videos. Haven’t seen to many from him this year. Must be just the bad winter we’re all having.

      Thanks man. I appreciate it. I may stop putting them out in a couple of weeks because snowmobile views go way down and I can already see it with this video. I will probably release the rest of my content early preseason. Maybe october-ish.
      He hasn't been out as much as I have so not too sure how many videos he has in the works. I know he has a few rides though.
      Thanks again!

      Thanks, will do! I am going to put out 1 more video (Day 2 Part 2) from this series soon and then probably hold off uploading the rest of the videos from this season until This fall. The videos won't get very much interest now that the season is over.

      Thanks Dave and sorry about your injury. I'll be putting out a couple more before I reserve the rest of the videos for next pre-season. Unfortunately most people aren't going to want to watch snowmobiling content after the season ends.
      Thanks again for watching and a speedy recovery to you!

    Can't beat Maine snowmobile trails the mileage of amazing trails is insane especially in the County glad you got to experience it you should make it an anual trip.I was the same as you was amazed the 1st time I experienced it. I'm from Massachusetts we did 560 miles in 3 days last weekend up in Maine Moosehead Region we rode out of Jackman last ride of the season unfortunately. I also ride in Pittsburg New Hampshire great trails there too

    Remind me never to ride with a CZcamsr! Between sleds breaking down and filming equipment, communicators not working it's hard to get any riding in. Lol! Just kidding Paiste. Looks like a fantastic trip and a good group of dudes. That 360 cam is a real game changer. Glad your getting to ride outside your regular spots. Some fantastic trails out there.

    Great videos in Maine Paisteboy!! Too bad Rich's sleds were acting up, Arctic Cat and Polaris sleds not as good as Ski-Doo apparently ! I just picked up a new Renegade Enduro 900 ACE Turbo R, see you on the trails this year !

      @Paisteboy  Před 9 měsíci

      Thanks s.douglas9531. It was a great trip and Rich ended up getting his sleds all fixed up. He rode the Arctic Cat all but the one day. He had the Cat fixed at the local dealer under warrantee on the day that he rode the Polaris. Congrats on the new sled. I bet you can't wait for the snow to fly! Maybe we'll see you on the trail. Thanks for watching.

      With the way that the camera is mounted I would have to aim it too far downward or pull the shot back farther which would distort the view.

    How did your 850 2 stroke compare the the 4 strokes on those types of trails? Seems like you kept up easy enough. Did you burn through a lot of oil?

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před rokem

      I had no problem keeping up. With sleds like these it really comes down to how good of of a rider you are.
      I really did pretty well on oil consumption. I topped off everyday and used about a half gallon a day average. 150-215 miles a day at 5 days.
      Thanks for watching.

    We run Cardo comms and are happy with them. We looked into the chatterbox x2 but was told by the factory that the battery life was lousy in the cold. What has your experience been? Only downfall of the cardos, and all blue tooth brands, is the range.
    What do you think about the size of your group. ? Seems a bit too many for my liking. Hard to keep moving along with that many, always seem to have to stop for someone.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před rokem

      The Chatterbox x2 slim-p battery life is great in the cold. Lasts all day and the have an amazing range because they are not bluetooth. The factory should have talked to some snowmobilers before they said that.
      This group was too big especially since we didn't all ride at the same pace. The upside was that the trails are very long before you reach an intersection so it cut down on waiting at intersections.
      Thanks for watching edileo.

      Are you running with ice scratchers up there. When we were there in march the trails were rock hard in the morning and was running hot until they loosened up. Same deal in Cranberry a couple weeks ago.

    I think there's a thing to having too much technology if one doesn't work it bugs you so bad it ruined your ride

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před 10 měsíci

      I've obviously had a few issues over the years when starting to use a new piece of equipment and it's not always my fault. Sometimes it's the equipment, but I can say that it's never ruined my ride. It may affect the final video but doesn't ruin my ride.
      It was at this moment that I realized that you're probably talking about the new 8.7 inch display. I've almost given up on the GPS aspect of that but everything else seems to be working out ok at this point. I just plug it in and go. Forget tracking the ride if you don't want to hold up the other riders.
      Thanks for the comment and for watching Jeff.
