I still have the final ride of last season coming before we start up with this seasons stuff. Thanks for watching.
Love to see sled videos hitting CZcams again! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Buddy! Will do! It won't be long before we're hitting the trails again!!!
Nice to see the video’s Rollin out Paisty. Keep them coming.
Thanks. Will do! I have the final ride from last season at Tug Hill coming next. Then it's on to pre-season stuff until the snow flies!!! ❄❄❄
Just leaving the Sled Expo in Springfield Ma, going to listen to this video on way home! I picked up some Woody Navigators
Nice! Thanks for watching or listening!
Good times with good friends Paiste
Absolutely! Thanks for watching Mark.
Love watching your videos
Really chomping at the bit to get my first ride in this year think snow ❄
Thanks! I appreciate that. I can't wait to ride this season as well! Think snow!!!❄❄❄
Thanks for sharing Bud.....Are you tired of lifting that visor every time you stop to keep it from fogging yet?
No. It's the talking that does it and I never shut up. I'm not even sure it would fog up or not if we weren't talking. I wouldn't change a thing. I am not interested in the mission helmet at all because it requires a mask over my nose and mouth to do the same thing that my modular helmets do.
Brad, one of the guys that rode with us in Maine has no issues with fogging even with glasses on.
Thanks for watching buddy.
@@Paisteboy I’m just giving you crap about it. Thanks for the video.
No problem.
I'm really glad that you're enjoying your mission helmet though. It's just not what I'm looking for in a helmet and even though the oxygen isn't perfect it's the best one out there for what I'm doing right now.
The Indian lake side is paid town employees also. They don’t have the same equipment inlet has. Small tractors with no blade. Doesn’t do much. They don’t do very good job like town of inlet does. some times it gets so bad inlet will tandem groom it to the ranger station. I have never seen that part smooth.
Oh wow. Good to know. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching DareDog.
Paisteboy, keep them coming👍🏻👍🏻hey, what’s the mirror you use on your glove? Are you happy w/it? Thanks 😬😬
It's a little hand or wrist mirror that I keep on my glove wrist. It works pretty good at slow speeds to see if your buddies are still behind you. Check the Amazon link on the description if you're interested in one. It's less than 10 bucks.
I have the last ride of last season yet to come.
Thanks for watching.
Hey paisty what communicators are you using these days.
Hey Jimbo, We use the Chatterbox X2 slim-p comms. We've been using these since we started using comms back in 2019-2020 season. If you go back and watch the first ride with Gary and me from 12-20-2019 I talk about it in detail. Love them.
Thanks for watching.
I'm with you. Let the cry baby go home. That's why I always drive never drive four in a truck Good times thanks for keeping it real
Right on. Thanks for watching Alan.
@39:15 FJB !!!
Yup
Presidents actually don't have anything to do with the prices of gas. That's not how that works. Oil companies set and decide their own prices. Unfortunately we can't really blame any of these crooked presidents. But, F them all anyway.
Get trailtech
Thanks. I'll look into that.
Why does Gary constantly stand up while he rides? It's slower, more dangerous with it's higher center of gravity, dangerous to oncoming riders if a quick move has to be done, slower cornering, colder, there's zero benefit to it, you stand up to stretch, to rip through moguls and bumps, when getting ready to jump and land and to absorb some of the suspension travel with your knees, standing through corners or when its flat as a pancake is odd, if it's for back issues get a good kidney belt and wear a tekvest for support and protection, he really puts himself in a position to get tossed hard off the sled riding like that, it will bite him eventually.
He wears a tec vest already. He doesn't have kidney issues. He just enjoys riding standing up and I've never seen him come off of his sled. I rode my Blizzard standing up alot more than I ever need to on my Renegade XRS, but that's because of how well my sled handles with smart shox. I did enjoy the control you get certain speeds standing up. You just lean into a turn with very little effort. I've also never heard him complain about being cold ever. He is a highly skilled rider. Probably could have been a racer if he wanted to. It may stem back from when the xrs had a concrete seat and it was just more comfortable to stand up. He's been riding an XRS since the first one came out in 2007. Not exactly sure but I bet he wonders why anyone would care. Maybe we'll have to make a video about this topic to put it to bed once and for all.
I do appreciate you watching though Chris.
Dude wtf are you talking about lol
Lol
Just an observation fella's, relax, but show me any motorsport where they ride standing all day? motocross, snowcross, superbikes? nope, corners are way slower standing, low center of gravity is the name of the game to be fast. jump approaches, landings, moguls, time to stand no doubt about it. @@Paisteboy
It's no problem FZ583. Here's the thing. Gary can ride at those trail speeds with no problem standing up. When he wants to fly he will sit down and rip. Believe me, he is an expert rider and knows when he needs to sit sit down to achieve those speeds. We rarely, for safety reasons, try to go balls out anymore so he doesn't need to sit much if he doesn't want to. He was sitting the whole time that we rode on the lake and we weren't even going too fast. He just enjoys standing and is surprised that anyone even cares. It actually looks odd when I see him sitting in front of me unless we're ripping it up.
I appreciate the comments and you watching.
