It’s comical watching you two work on your brother’s sled. lol ☃️👍👍
Thanks Bruce. I'm surprised we got it done. Lol. It's like comedy hour!
Another great vid. Still here with ya. Merry Christmas to you all!
Thanks RDobbs. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.
For lower side panel la’s totally awesome all purpose cleaner. It’s like $1 a bottle. Works great. Dollar general big lots sells it.
Thanks for the tip DareDog! I'll check it out.
Paiste, FYI.. That flat spot worn in the center shock is from the track rubbing on top of the shock over the past years. It’s a common thing with some Skidoos.
Ah. ok. You can see that it had been rubbing on something. Thanks Greg.
Another great video, love when you all are working together both entertaining and also very informative as well!!
I, too, am a smoker and feel the same grief Zuke takes, lol !!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!!!
Thanks Joe. I really worry about Zuke's health though. We're not getting any younger and I'd hate to see it catch up with him and you too for that matter. He's the only one in our group that smokes. Even Dave quit smoking.
Merry Christmas to you too Joe.
Zuke has the “snow” pinky nail lol
Yeah. He picks his nose and ears with them. Lol. Believe me if Zuke did coke he'd be dead a long time ago. Thanks for watching.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you as well!!
Hey Paiste !!
Merry Christmas to all of you guys on the Paisteboy channel.. That sure does look like one sweet LynQ bag.
I should have loaded it up with 100 packs of cigs from the RES. “Bronco’s” of course.. !! But I want to see him smoke less.. not more 😂 Don’t forget if he needs new carbides down the road he knows where there’s a brand new set waiting. 😉
Zuke is more than welcome to take the ole T-cat for a ride. I’ll set it on 270hp for him. 😁 Take Care buddy and thanks for the shoutout ..
You're 100% right? Those cigarettes are no joke. I'm 60. I've seen 2 good friends die with that.😢😢😢 Thanks for helping the guys with their shocks❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Merry Christmas to you too buddy. We really need to get him to quit smoking. With the mic on you can hear how quickly he gets winded. He'd love to take a ride on your T-Cat. We can play a little musical sleds on the next ride together. We'll keep the carbides in mind for the future too. All we need now is snow!! Let's talk when the we get some snow and meet up there. You're welcome. You've been a true friend & take care buddy!
Thanks for watching Chuck.
Glad to see you guys doing this, it's just peace of mind going into an already short season! I get accused of "Over Maintaining" my sleds, but I just don't want to chance a failure on a component that could have been avoided by preventative maintenance. 🙂
I agree 100 Percent!! I just did a ton of maintenance to my 2022 Renegade back in November to get it ready for the season. I had it professionally serviced. I plan on making a video about it soon. Thanks for the comment MrJeffy.
Merry Christmas pasty, boy. Have faith the snow will be here soon enough
Thanks Chuck! Merry Christmas to you too. It can't avoid us forever but we may have to chase it a bit. Thanks for watching.
Pull the torsion springs off before installing the skid and everything goes much smoother. Great video.
Thanks for the tip! I know a lot of people do that but since I never have I was hesitant to try it. Maybe next time. Thanks for watching.
Looking forward to this season’s vids. I must admit the Zuke sled issues are a bit entertaining but best of luck with this sled. Thanks for sharing. Merry Xmas.
Thanks. It's always him. If it wasn't for Zuke we wouldn't have any repair videos. Lol. Fingers crossed this sled is his good luck charm!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Ziggy!
Ok I’ve heard you say you rebuild your shocks like every other year and didn’t understand why. If I had someone that would do them for 40 dollars a pop I would do way more preventative maintenance too. Great video on the the slides
Thanks. I only rebuilt the rear shocks on my Blizzard once after approximately 3000 miles. I rebuilt the rear shocks on my 2000 mxz 700 once when I first bought it back in 2010. My friend Eric does shock rebuilds but it's not quite that cheap.
I just had my smart shox rebuilt after 2400 miles but Eric doesn't have the equipment to rebuilt smart shox so I had it done at Carlson Racing in the Buffalo area. I get them rebuilt when they need them done.
Thanks for watching.
Great vids. How about a few drum solos or just some drumming
Thanks. I have some older videos if you look at my playlists of me drumming solo. Also live performances drumming and singing.
Thanks for watching.
That’s for another great video paisty!
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it Adam!
Always! If we’re not riding we’re enjoy the wrenching vids
That's for sure!! I have a couple more garage type videos to put out before we actually hit the trails and it looks like the weather is a little slow this season.
i use anti seze on those bushings.great video
Great tip! I have all that stuff in my cabinet but Zuke didn't. I brought my grease gun with me before we started recording the second part of this video. We didn't mention that this wasn't all the same day.
i grease my skid after every ride.you wouldnt bieleve how much water comes out when greased.
That really isn't a bad idea with all of the potential for dirty melting snow that can get in there. I believe it.
No snow at all here near lake George and north to the Canadian border
Yeah. This is a very slow start to the season. I think we may be turning the corner about a week from now but we'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks for watching.
Why would you not use the at suspension lube on those shock bushings? It’s what that lube is for. Those nylon parts will wear very very fast without grease.
What is at suspension lube? We used what he had on hand and the second day I brought my grease gun but didn't have it on the first day of recording.
enjoyed the vid!! Just wondering if there was a bolt in the upper part of your limiter strap, it looked like it was held on with cable ties. Merry Christmas to you guys..
Thanks Darren. Apparently the zip ties on the limiter strap is how they do it now. Not exactly sure when that started do it that way but it is the current method. Thanks for watching.
You guys had NO grease to put on those shock bushings ?????? @27:27 🤔😝
This video was shot on a combination of 2 different days. I brought my grease gun with me on day 2. Thanks for watching.
I figured, just bustin' your balls!! It's hard to tell when Zuke wears the same outfit every time 🤣🤣@@Paisteboy
lol. Exactly!!
Just wondering why you keep saying it's a 2018 it would be a gen 4. That is an xs. 2016 same as the one that you had.
No. Not true Jimbo. The 2018 Blizzard was an xs chassis for the 600 e-tec but the 2018 Blizzard was a gen4 for the 850. They hadn't made the 600 Blizzard a gen4 until 2019.
@@Paisteboy @jimbo5849 YEs sir… Paisteboy is correct.. I had a 2018 Renegade X 600 etec in the XS chassis. They made the 600’s in the XS chassis for 2018.
Merry Christmas !
Merry Christmas to you as well.
