10 Exercises to Tone Your Thighs in 10 Minutes a Day

  • Is it a myth that to get slim and shaped thighs, you need to spend hours in the gym? Many women (and, in all honesty, even some guys) work hard to get the perfect thigh gap. That said, there is no reason to go overboard. You can get the same results by doing a set of exercises that takes just 10 minutes a day. If recently you’ve been thinking about nothing else but a lovely thigh gap, this video is for you!
    But hey, remember that if you don't want your thighs to bulk up, you should do these exercises in moderation and avoid eating a lot of protein before your workout.

    SUMMARY:
    - #1. The first exercise of this workout will help you to work your hamstrings and quads. On top of that, it will strengthen your hip muscles, glutes, lower back, abs, and core muscles.
    - #2. This exercise targets your thighs, glutes, obliques, and abdominal muscles. It involves your inner thigh muscles and, thus, leads to the appearance of a thigh gap. On top of that, when you do it, you automatically pull your abs in and up, which makes them more defined and also improves your balance.
    - #3. Thanks to this exercise, your glutes, thighs, and abs will get more toned and defined. Plus, you'll greatly improve your posture and strengthen your core, which, in turn, will help you to get rid of lower-back pain.
    - #4. If you thought that stretching couldn't help you to get a thigh gap, think again! Butterfly stretches not only open up your thigh and hip muscles and improve flexibility, but also loosen and lengthen the inner thigh muscles.
    - #5. Lateral lunges target your inner as well as outer thighs. As a result, you work on your thigh gap and simultaneously reduce outer thigh "saddlebags."
    - #6. An exercise as simple as jumping up and down can actually make a world of difference to your thighs! This movement also gets your heart rate up and is great for the whole body toning thing.
    - #7. Scissor kicks not only shape and tone your thighs but also do wonders for your abs!
    - #8. If your ultimate goal is beautiful thighs, the only correct answer is walking, or even running, up the stairs. This can also be a perfect warming-up exercise before your workout.
    - #9. The stability ball squeeze is an effective exercise that targets your thighs directly. On top of that, if you do this exercise while lying down, it works your abs, glutes, and core muscles.
    - #10. For this exercise, you can actually use a chair or pretend that there is an invisible chair behind your back. Whatever you choose, chair squats will make your lower body stronger.

    I’ve hired personal trainers to kickstart new workout regimens and All of the exercises shown here were considered among the most effective exercises for strengthening the thighs, glutes, back and core. Just as the narrator said, if you’re looking to tone and strengthen your muscles versus build muscle and bulk, consider limiting this routine to every other day of the week (max 3 times a week). I was also told that when toning, think “high # of repetition, low # of sets”. Folk should also give themselves permission to adjust the number of repetitions and sets suggested to what’s reasonable given ability level. I think a lot of people lose motivation because they’re Holding themselves to an unrealistic standard. Basic rule of thumb is it’s quality over quantity. Another one is, everyone’s got to start somewhere :-)

    Thank you, I’ve just started yoga and walking, and this gives more and new exercises to do what I need! I’m 68 and still healthy...just need to lose weight and be healthy again 🥰

    Her knees extend her toes while doing the wide squats. Make sure to keep your knees behind your toes while squatting always.

    Failed to mention one very important point about doing squats, the knees should not go over the front of our toes or will hurt your knees badly

    The sumo squat is a good one it also helps to improve your balance it's like chair squat but you have to maintain the position for as long as you can

    Great but some of these exercises jumping) are quite bad for spinal stenosis or arthritis. But I’m going to do many now!

    In every sqaut, the knee is extending beyond the toe. Isnt this injurious for knee as the form is breaking up?

    3:05. That's more of a butterfly flutter than a flap. I thought you were supposed to press the knees downward while keeping the feet together and pulled in. That's usually what people do. And, that's what I've been doing. My thighs/knees can go all the way down to the floor. What do you do after your legs bend all the way down? Is that it, or do people do sort of like an oversplit, but of that exercise?

      @@jxprogamer975 During the pandemic, I lost 10lbs because I could not eat what I used to eat and I walked at least 35k steps a week. now I am 120lbs which is my normal weight

    guys! must I sweat in order for exercise to work perfect on my body, usually I spent 15 to 20 min doing exercise but I don't sweat though my water intake is good.
    what should I do?!

      Maybe your workout is low impact. Try some HIIT, Tabata or intense cardio. I recommend Sydney Cummings on CZcams

    The girl in the video is doing the squats completely wrong. When you bend the knees they should never exceed the toes. It's so misleading and this hurts the knees a lot...
