Man the Alt up and down arrow thing really really has helped. I kept bumping my tracks when trying to clean up angles and screwing up my sync. This is HUGE! Thank you.
Great tutorial! Thank you!!
Subscribed. Just what I needed to find. Lookig for Part 2 now. Thank you!
For the problem you're having using the "Detect clips from same camera angle' feature, go to the metadata of your camera clips and set the Camera # field accordingly (Under shot/scene group). for each of your cameras, i.e. 1, 2, 3 etc, before creating the multicam clip. You can also select "Angle Name' to be the camera # as well so that in your multicam clip, the video tracks are named after your camera #, i.e for Camera #: 3 it will name the video track "Camera 3" and this will reflect in the multicam source monitor. I have mapped keyboard shortcuts to switch between 1,2,3 (I've mapped ctl +numpad 1 2 &3 for example). for the live edit that corresponds to the video track names displayed in the multicam source monitor..
Such a good tutorial. I was using Multicam today on a project, and I can't wait for part 2 to see if I was the most efficient I can be!
I hope there will be some good tips in it for you!
My app also opens loads of angles, this is the only video I could find to solve my problem! Thanks!
Nice.. actually I m setting up multi cam shooting myself just to add a nice different feel to the videos I m making...watching this video is perfect timing... thxxxx
Good timing indeed! Hope the series is helpful to you!
new sub here. great video...
Hey at 1:17 the option to create new multi cam clip isn’t showing up. What do I do? Beside start breaking stuff
Thank you for your videos! Your Channel will grow much more! Such good content. I have a question, How can you unlink audio/video content on the time so that you can disable "D", them separately? Many thanks in advance.
Got it! : 'ctrl' and 'shift' along with the alphabet 'l'
I really appreciate your support! The method you've landed on is good and a valid option. The danger is that you can now accidentaly unsync your sound and picture. Personally I prefer to "alt" and click with the mouse on the portion of the clip I wish to disable then hit "D". Its a safer method in my opinion.
is this multicam function only available with studio version? I download free version for only one personal project and I can't use this.
How are you seeing the different cameras on your timeline? I can only see video, and its all the cameras lumped together.
I am having a hard time muting my scratch audio. D doesn't seem to disable and if I mute it just disables camera too. Even if I unlink tracks. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, Thanks for your kind comments. admittedly what you're discribing sounds like a head scrather. I'm sure there is an annoying small detial cathcing us out here that you'll stumble upon eventually. For now I would suggest you simply select the clip and lower its volume via the inspecter tab.
thank you sir! subscribe
