I was rendering videos in PQ. For some reason HLG rendered files looks less saturated colors on CZcams, smartphones players. Now I switched to iPhone to be able to see instagram reel in HDR. It seems that only HLG files can be loaded as HDR reels. At least from iPhone version of the app. I want to find a way to make HLG exports look close to PQ. I use Davinci managed colors for timeline in both cases. Do you know why it can happen?

I have Da vinci 18.1 and when i display the inspector window the dual viewer dissapears. What can i do to fix this? Do i need to update to a new version or maybe activate something in the workspace window?

Appreciate you mate. Have learned a ton about render cache over the last 24 hours after a heavily graded 10 minute clip took 3.5 hrs to render. I'm guessing that DNxHR HQX render cache images should be more than sufficient for DJI D-Log and Sony A1 S-LOG 3 4K 10.2.2 footage rendered to 4K high quality, would you agree?

I wish people wouldn't make footage looked like it was handheld and shakes about, it's nauseating to watch. The number of dramas or programs we get 3 minutes in and see the camera isn't ever going to be steady and start feeling ill, we turn it off.

The footage you use as an example of noisy is ridiculous. Why don't you go out to shoot some night footage at ISO 6400 and then show us what you can do.

Does anyone know how to remove the scroll bar at the bottom of the preview window? Its getting REALLY old everytime I click to stretch an overlay or image, I end up scrolling somewhere deep into the video and then have to find where I left off. Its very frustrating, I dont know when this happen but scroll bars were a basic feature to show or hide, from AutoCAD to every veriosn of Excel or Word I use. Thanks

That is the most minimal "customization" possible. It's nearly useless. It needs options for bot horizontal and vertical settings and the ability to save out separate settings files for different needs since. There is a lot more than TV now, with multiple different formats for all the social media platforms we really need the ability to customize things like this..

Thanks. I brought in my movie from iMovie for colour grading and it's 1.5 hours long and shot at 1080p. How long do you think it will take to render? The clip or the media I was using as the main media is on an external hard drive.

Fuck sake, 5-6 minutes to tell us we ran it in Admin mode.. 10 seconds was all we needed..
