Couple questions- Can the width of bifolds be cut down? Also, would you be able to point me to a video of one of those prehung pantry doors? One more question- I have a very small water well room. Opening is about 32 inch wide by 60 inches high. Any recommendation on type of door for this little opening and maybe if theres any companys that will cut them and ship them off to a person?
I’m sure you can custom order any size you want go to any lumberyard and talk to them at the contractor service counter. You could trim the width of the bifold may be a quarter of an inch. I wouldn’t bother with it much more than that.

My hinges are already installed. I need 2” total removed. I was intending on removing from the bottom only.
Is there a good reason why I shouldn’t remove the excess from the bottom only?

I would hope you can re-block them you’ll have to add the block filler back in glue it nail it They want to contact a manufacturer I’m sure they have a phone number and ask them if this should not be done if there is a reason why?

I would remove from the bottom only .One cut less chance for error.Keep the work down low not at eye level.If the door has a door knob hole already ?? You cant cut the top.

Is this considered a composite door? Looking at 4 panel composite bifolds but instructions on website say they shouldn’t be trimmed.
Not sure if technically a composite.But They cant rub on the carpet,so they must be cut
“Composite” just means that it’s made from various types of materials. Or in other words. Not real wood!!!! LOL
Yes they must not have enough frame to be trimmed if you’re going to trim them you’re going to have to re-block them.
Can I trim 28 inch bifold doors down to 24 inch? I was gifted a pair and I really don't have the money to spend on buying a proper size.

Yes, you can buy a prehung door and have it installed. You do not have to use bi fold door. Bifold doors are cheap. You do have a choice just like you do not have to buy a hollow door . You can buy a solid door.
I just need an inch off my door, can I remove and 1/2 inch off top and 1/2 inch off bottom?

Well, it’s a 7 1/4 inch saw the 40 tooth saw blade is typically what I use 40 or more
