The problem is... when tapping the pivot, and other inserts, 9 times out 10, the springs get damaged leaving the hardware useless... i use a 3/8 open end wrench, i put the wrench on the plastic sleeve of the insert and tap it in without damaging the hardware

What if i have laminate over concrete..how to screw in the floor bracket? How come you didn't use the 3rd screw?

@@colinireton1587 ,thank you for that advice, however, i use plumbers valve grease, it does help a little, but not much..i will design a tool soon

Should have primed and painted the bottom edge of the door after it was cut to prevent warping later on.
