Tumble Ridge Model Railway

The town of Tumble Ridge is a small mining town based on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroads at Disneyland (town of rainbow Ridge) and Disney World (town of Tumbleweed) and a little influence from Radiator Springs.
The layout measures roughly 52" x 72". The slot car track is a Carrera starter set with a few sections of track added to complete the figure 8 design. The g gauge track is an Aristocraft starter set plus a few straight sections.
This video was made to motivate me to get back into video editing (computer died and lost all my old software, this was created with a very basic program included on the new computer) as well as to encourage me to progress on the detail portions of this layout. The mine will look more like a working mine, the paper model of Casey Jr's station will be replaced by a wood version. The barn loosely based on Walt Disney's barn on the upper level is about 40% complete, hopefully that can be finished off this winter. There are Disney Characters and references throughout the layout, but more to be added. Its possible that a paper model of the "Up" house may hover over the layout. And somewhere there will need to be something Star Wars related.
