Y’all, this musical sorcerer was a civil rights activist. And oh my gosh this video makes an astounding statement. Despite the pianos being different colored she showed that they sound beautiful apart, together, and even playing the same thing (see :57 -1:01) This is amazing.

I am absolutely in complete awe of Ms. Scott and I have so much admiration for her. She is an unsung hero, and I am so happy that Alicia Keys paid homage to her and brought her name to the forefront after her performance at the Grammy's. She deserves ALL HER FLOWERS‼️ 👏🏾 💐 🎹 💖 Her hands literally just fly across the keyboard!!! Wow just WOW! 👀🤯🙊...What an incredible talent. Beyond all of this, I just love the message in the video where she is playing both the Black & White Grand pianos simultaneously. It's so symbolic & it gives me such PRIDE because Ms. Scott was not only one of the BEST pianist but she was also a Civil Rights activist. She fought vehemently against segregation and discrimination and stood up for herself and her people. I LOVE my people and Hazel is a true testament to the meaning of BGM [Black Girl Magic] with her beauty, talent, strength and eloquence.
