  • Hello foodies,
As a carb lover I love all bread, especially naan to dip in a curry or lentil. I make them pretty regularly as they are super easy to make, and absolutely tastes delicious!
With some gluten-free flour and a few other ingredients, you too can make and enjoy delicious naan! In this video, I’ll show you exactly how to make gluten-free naan that taste just as delicious. But keep in mind that this is a gluten free recipe. The texture of naan won’t be as soft. It will no doubt be crispy on the outside and chewy inside just as their gluten counterparts.
Make sure to keep the rolled out naan thick and oven hot for best results.
    Give it a go.
If gluten is not the issue you can use regular all purpose flour in place of gluten free flour that I used.
    Happy cooking!

I did not know that you could make these in the oven too. Must give your recipe a go!

Naan is a type of flatbread that is traditionally made by slapping flat dough to the walls of tandoor (hot clay oven). Since everyone can't own a tandoor we can create a tandoor like temperature in home oven. Try it you would love it.

I was looking for some yeast naan bread, here I got it. That’s awesome. I usually prepared non yeast naan in stove top. Baking one is great idea

Thank you Jolly! One can also make naan without yeast but I prefer them with yeast. Cooking in oven is faster and gives a crispier texture.

I was told that BRM 1-1 Gluten Free flour will not work with yeast. I want to make this recipe but I'm not sure about the yeast in this recipe. Please advise thank you!

Yes, I know I read that too but it worked. You can try with some other brand of gluten free all purpose flour. When you remove the naan from oven they would be little hard. Place them in a container lined with cloth for 5-10 minutes and they are delicious to eat.
