- Built up a wireless redstone concept with help from RedCMD
RedCMDs channel:
/ @redcmd
Works on tile tick limit. The sender can be built anywhere in the same dimension as the receivers and one sender will send signals to all receivers in the same dimension when activated. The sand tower schedules tile ticks on the sand blocks and causes a 65 536 tile tick scheduling that results in the game delaying the observer detectors to be pushed to the next game tick. That is then detected in the receivers that are active and ticking in the same dimension.
As pointed out in the comments by Mushushu water flowing can also be used. Look at image for water concept as an alternative to sand if sand isn't as abundant, given 20 double chests of sand is needed for the sand tower. Scheduling is however vital so the first observers needs to be scheduled with a repeater. Sand towers however are far more lag efficient.

More like a redstone EMP
Yeah, I was just thinking, if it breakes flying machines, you could use it as some sort of defense system against TNT missiles ;D
Flying machines with observers might break. Flying machines that just use pistons should be fine.
@@franzschubert4480 so you'd have to use primitive technology to defeat this modern emp:)
top analogy
It's like a machine that senses a disturbance in the force or something
hmm wirelessly break TT's tree farms while he afkays at them seems like a nice way of annoying him :D
thats probably the only use for what you showed xD
Too sad fast treefarms use 0 repeaters and only pistons
@@TT1998 too good server will also crash probably xD
Best way to break any contraption in Minecraft!
Honestly doesn’t seem too hard to build.. other than it breaking a ton of things, I feel like it could be neat to have in a world
"hello and welcome to another episode where we just break minecraft, or fix it, whichever you prefer" this made me laugh a bit
You sound like a terrified Kermit
Something like 65000? Not 65536 by any chance? :D
Correct
Wireless redstone. Awesome :-) Destroying all your contraptions. Mmmmm no so awesome lol.
Ive discovered a new wireless redstone method for map makers
pre skulk
Brainfucking and serverfucking => best contraption ever
Why are there 3 layers of sand in between each layers of rails? How does the middle layer get block updates?
If rails are on top of a block they also update the blocks surrounding that block.
@@franzschubert4480 I see. Updating 2 blocks below is a little pointless but makes sense I guess
Without it detector rails don't send block updates. Guess it was inherited into all other types of rails too.
Saw "wireless redstone" in the title, and all I can think about are the new Sculk Sensors in 1.17.
Hello allo
I subscribed
RIP 2b2t redstone ;)
lol
What's with all the 2b2tsters wandering into the technical community?
Was there a video by one of their youtubers or something?
@@haph2087 I don't play 2b2t, but yes, ilmango mentioned 2b2t in his video about peaceful slime farms. I gotta admit that I know 2b2t from antvenom.
Haph it’s really just the amount of exploits and dupes that come out of it. It’s really useful on 2b2t
Myren made a video years ago showing this but in an earlier version using repeaters.
Interesting to say the least, and it was a great idea to use sand to save on rails. But, unless it changes back the behavior from 1.12 (or even 1.13.1), I assume it will become unpractical since you are unable to artificially load chunks.
We hope rock might get through to implement a form of chunk loading block. Still waiting, but generally this could be used for timing devices.
@@Xcom6000 well, I think it is hoping too much, many people is still waiting for much simpler things like renewable mateeials... And we are still waiting, but, I guess only time will tell :s
Yeah!
"Everything breaks"
This might be a bit random but wasn't there a way a long time ago to do block updates between distant glass panes/iron bars way back before 1.7?
yes doesn't work since 1.8
thanks for letting me know.
Because the default pane is no longer a t shape, but a 2x2 pixel column

Cool idea, but pretty impractical.
2 years back I made a (non-talking) video about 100% reliable wireless vertical signal transfer if you're interested.
Sure always interested. Could post link here too.
Sure thing. Here's my video: czcams.com/video/h0fE7bhiQKo/video.html
Goohz and I both shared ideas for the Y-bud, so you might want to check out his video too:

Really cool stuff
This is awesome! But it sounds like you're having a stroke when you speak sometimes, honestly.
lol
@@Xcom6000 I've never seen a creator respond in 7 minutes:D Where are you from? I couldn't find it; I like your accent
@@supernovaw39 From sweden. Was watching youtube and saw this pop up. Was a funny comment.
