I love how when a company does something the community hates, the community is quick to try a workaround. EA stopped support for BF2 so modders went crazy trying to make the game feel new. CZcams removed dislikes and within the same day, an extension was released for your browser that shows the dislikes. Minecraft adds the ability to censor and report chat, the community makes a mod that disables that. It’s pretty funny.

Fun Fact: Banning you from even single player is a violation of any 'inperpeturity' lines in the EULA. However, after reading through the current EULA, they removed any line saying you own your copy of the game In Perpetuity.
"...when you pay for our Game, you are buying a license to play / use our Game in accordance with this Agreement - you are not buying the Game itself."
This is a 'service' license. You don't own the fucking game anymore even if you bought it back in Alpha where you bought the game itself...
I can't find the original 'legacy' EULA I agreed too back in late 2009, so I can't compare it to the modern one where you don't even own the license anymore.

I had heard about this reporting system coming to Java due to Bedrock edition also having similar features. In-fact, the singleplayer filter used to be so strict that if you were to try and type the word “Night” in chat, on signs, or even when you were simply *re-naming an item* ,it would be filtered do to the beginning of the word having the letters “nig” which was too similar to the N-word. One of the things that Linus (Mr. Tech Tips) talks about with piracy is that when the pirated version is better than the legal version, a lot more people start pirating. Xbox has enough DRM to where it's a pain to pirate, but pirating is really easy on desktop

Yeah. Microsoft has no responsibility for what players do on their accounts or even on a server. _And that's a good thing._ Admins and mods are the ones responsible for keeping their own servers in a state they want it to be by disciplining players.
There's no good reason for Microsoft and Mojang to implement this. No one was really blaming them for misbehaving players (and the people who did aren't technically literate). They can't be reasonably held responsible for something like 2b2t. Privately run servers are just that: private.
And if a parent desperately wants to protect their children, there are ways to ban their home network from connecting to certain IPs and domains. If Microsoft wants to make those tools more easily accessible, so be it. (They own the operating system as well.) They are not morally or legally responsible for these servers. And they should be legally barred from moderating people on an account basis.

my friend once got shadow/ghost muted. nobody could see his messages, we were playing on hypixel (we were both on 1.8.9) and he was typing in party chat, but i couldnt see his messages. he got an alt to see if it was just me but it wasnt. we tried to go to back to the current version of minecraft, 1.19.something and we joined our survival server, he said a chat message, and nothing appeared. for some reason, he had me blocked (in the P menu of 1.19) and he tried typing once again and nothing happened. he somehow fixed it but im unassure how he did.
pretty scary how he didnt do absolutely anything, because we mostly use discord chat and vc. we hardly communicate through party. we most likely see eachother online in the server (via expamle: Friend has joined.) and we private message eachother if we wanna join eachother's partys. no profanity going on and he somehow got shadow muted. Very scary.

Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Contemplate how the Roman empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years to accomplish the religion of the Israelites C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life. - Revelation 3:20
Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet
Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power. Once the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD, the Pope was given civil and ecclesiastic authority over Rome; healing the deadly head wound of the beast in Revelation 13, as they took the Emperors title of Pontifex Maximus, leader of the church and state.
“We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.)
Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.)
Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894)
The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD.
Daniel 7:25 says “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” The Popes of Rome spoke against Elohim and proclaimed to be God. They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. during which they caused tens of millions of saints to be killed.
The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666

For real, we need actual players to not only play the game but also be part of the game's overall maintenance. This is so terrifying to enter a single player world on my freshly acquired Minecraft account and fearing to get perma banned from using the game. This is simple. I'll speak no word, learn absolutely ever curse words from all 100 languages Minecraft supports (yeah even LOLcats) and be extra careful with every word I say. Extreme risks need extreme measure

Bedrock player here, I used to play Minecraft bedrock edition, now I switched to a open source alternative called mine test because, for one thing, it's lightweight, it has mods built into the launcher, a full server browser built into the launcher, and even has its on mini games, and I'm surprised that more people don't know about it . But it's been popping up more lately so I'm glad. Now, speaking about the servers, this is how honestly Mojang should do the band thing, and it's a lot better than being banned from the whole entire multiplayer section of the game. When you join a server, you have to make your own account which mainly consists of a username and your password. The account data is only stored on the server itself made by the user, who is hosting the server on his PC, the account is not stored on a big server in a data center somewhere. Now if you get banned, you get banned from a server, and when you're banned from a server, you can join any other server you want except the one you've been banned on.. you can still play your own worlds and still install mods. And of course, you can still use the game 2 its full potential.
