This is so far the best DIY desk I ever seen :)
Thanks! :)
I concur
@@mayankagrawal6781 i think he mentioned it that he was inspired.
He take it to the next level though

Has DIY Perks seen this? He'd love it. This is incredible, Pierre. I love it.
Dude he himself says that he saw his video
@@4mit149 Perk's version is much better to be honest :)
While not as polished, this puts LTT’s desk computer to shame.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
LINUS needs to do v3 of the project with him.
I wouldn't really agree. While some of these fancy feature and ideas seem nice at first glance they are not very practical in the long run. The power sockets for example. He states you can plug in extra monitors and peripherals. Nice but where is the cable going to be routed to the peripheral? You need to leave the cover open and that negates the entire point of it being covered or hidden in the first place. Most of the panels are made to size. That means that upgrading the scanner, printer or anything else other then the computer would be a pain. Also I'm not really a fan of all the bumps, ridges and holes that the panels create. Imagine writing anything on it, specially with the second monitor right in front of you. I know that's not the point of the desk but it is a desk after all and most of us need to write something sooner or later. I don't want to bash on his project. I like it, if not for anything else because of the high amount of effort that went in to it. I respect people like that. I'm just trying to make a point.
@@winnetouch bro you got to count that LTT has a lot of budget plus a lot of man power, tools and skills. It's a personal point of view but I feel the whole point of making a pc cum desk is for minimalism or reducing crap from your table. you definitely want your desk to be looking(slim) as a regular desk so rest features are optional. Plus adding functionality is of way more value than showcasing your components. .. BTW I love LTT but still transparent here.
@@winnetouch Regarding the power sockets, there are actually holes that let you root the wires to the main cable hole (which is underneath the external monitor for it's HDMI and power.)
And to write you can write on top of the integrated screen, which is where a paper would naturally rest when sitting at the desk.
So as a prototype this is really cool, but I think for it to hold up over time and to look even better, you should consider replacing the veneer or the metal sheet with laser cut 2mm plywood, so the covers fit better and don't fray at the edges. You than also don't have to cut out the speakers. You also could use small magnets to hold the covers on.
For cooling purposes you could look into water cooling and add the fans at the back of the table. And you should definitely replace the foam under the power supply with something sturdier, cause this will compress over time and no air can pass.
Thanks for your ideas! Yes you're completely right, steel and veneer is hardly a good solution. It's very much too complex to manufacture. Plywood is the way I'm going for my second prototype and it looks very good. Though 2mm is too thin with plywood, I used 8mm with my intermediate prototype and it's good. I think I can reduce to 5mm if I find a strong birch plywood.
Small magnet may not be required because the covers hold very well. The question is more how to enable easy opening of the covers. I'm investigating push push mechanism. Such are used with magnet for kitchen furniture. That might be the thing.
The thing I used is very hard, it's not really a foam, I used that word because I don't know the correct one for that. It's the thing that goes under chairs to avoid screeching noises.
But overall the thermals on that first desk sucks. I'm redesigning it completely and I think the next prototype will be really super cool, even while using mostly passive cooling and air cooling. I never seen a heatsink as big as the one I'm planing actually :)
This build is insane, I hope it sees more recognition 👍
Thanks ! :)
If you can share it around on social media it will help getting more coverage. That would be awesome!
This is a really neat spin on the desk PC. I’ve never seen an entire office built into a desk. Great job!
While I love the idea behind this all-in-one desk, I'd be extremely concerned about thermals for longer use sessions. It would have been well worth it to make it a little thicker in order to fit an AIO or water loop in my opinion.
You're quite right, and that's why I'm working on the cooling system for a few weeks, and I came with a really neat idea to cool the system ! :) Second prototype is in the build!
i'd be more concerned of me punching a hole through it, with it being hollow lol
very nice rendition of the @DIYPerks's Project!!!! as Mat would say: "Very nice in deed"... Perhaps you would benefit from wireless keyboard and mouse :D
Yes wireless keyboard would be much better here. Though it was just to show that even a big keyboard can fit in.
Wireless keyboards and mouse would be great but I personally prefer wired keyboard and mouse because there would be no battery drainage issue in the middle of some important work.
@@TanmoyDasINyeah good point, I wouldn't want to get killed in the middle of a call of duty match hehehe. Although the aesthetics of a cable-less desk is very appealing.
@@pierreboyer9277 yes that's true, by the way the extra compartments you created for the printer, scanner, ports, etc. is very useful, you could even fit a Xbox control there. Again, very nice job!
Wow - extremely impressive build! I was pleasantly surprised each time you opened a new compartment on the top of the desk.
What a great work - both building and filming! It was my pleasure to watch the process. The result also looks amazing!
nice work Pierre! indeed, you made the most interesting and clever desk I've ever seen. I'm stunned how you thought in everything needed to make a professional product.
That is one amazing build. And the range of skills you have is stunning - working with wood and metal, electronics, CAD etc. Very impressive.
WOW! This is perfection, amazing build and perfect planning!!
It is more amazing how you managed to include so many accessories into the build and I certainly wasn't expecting the CD drive. I have been wanting a desk pc with a spot for my blu-ray drive. This is awesome and inspiring
Thanks for the nice comment, I'm glad if you found it inspiring ! :)
Incredible idea!! Love to see someone come up with these ideas and put hardwork in it to bring it to life.
Great work on this, love the internally mounted screen, it takes it to the next level
its tremendously good. Ive never seen something like this before. You took DIYing desk to another level. Severely beat down the DIY perk.Hats off to your efforts and expertises.Hope you do best in your life.
This video was one of the first desk builds I've watched all the way through! Nice job!
Thanks! Glad you made it to the end :)
Super projet, le résultat est vraiment cool !
Et bravo pour la vidéo en anglais 👍
Incredible build, appreciate your dedication and attention to detail. This is awesome 👌
This was one of the very few times i watched a full 29 min video on youtube non stop and enjoyed watching every minute of. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it ! :) I was afraid the length of the video would afraid many people. I tried to make it as short as possible, but I couldn't bring myself to cut too many things.
@@pierreboyer9277 I think it's great you included such a detailed video. Great job! Keep them coming. Earned a subscriber.
Wow! That is one awesome desk! Especially love the built in display. Best of luck, hope it catches on.
Nice, I love how that came out! I'm currently in the process of building my own desk and found this very inspiring!
Thanks ! I hope it will help you making your future desk even better :)
Amazing to see more people with skills like DIYPerks! What a cool and unique build.
Dream for me!!!! Excellent work Pierre! Hopefully I'll be seeing more from you soon. GREAT WORK!!!
Very Nice. This has to be 1 of the best minimalistic desk pc that I have seen. Awesome design. I was truly surprised to see so many hidden compartments and their various uses. Great design.
Damn, this is probably the best Desk PC I've seen so far! This is awesome!
Great job! I too like DIY Perks, but your indepth description of how you build it is much better! Thank you for this!
Nice work
You had inspired lot of people by showing your awesome work
Amazing work. I really hope you get the result you deserve.
What an incredible build! I love the aesthetic.
Very thoughtful of yours!
This is super awesome!!! Thanks for the idea!
I'm not even going to lie, I'm completely blow away by this build, it's incredible and it has litteraly everything possible, I hope one day I'll be able to build things as great as this
Putting the tablet screen on the surface where you sit is amazing. The scanner bed idea is something I need to adopt as well- I never use the scanner on any all in one device I have but maybe i'd be more inclined if it was accessible right on the desk like that.
This is amazing...
The amount of work you have put in for this is really commendable..
Thanks! Yeah everytime I watched the video it make me feel all the hard work I put into it. Specially since most of the work was fixing things that were not right and which didn't end up in the final video. It was a long project so I'm very glad people like it !
Very nice Pierre. Good job! I really love it!
This is a phenomenal build. Making your own Custom pcb and tools is genius. This is way more than a desk pc, it's an entire office in a desk. Only thing miasing is a coffee maker.
This is neat! Love the clean design. 👌 been looking for a good design for doing a hidden pc desk. Definitely interested in this.
congratulations, this is one of the most interesting and awsome projects of custom pc builds i've ever seen
Thanks ! Glad you think so !
Fascinating video. What a great concept! Everything you want in one desk. I'm impressed.
Thanks very much ! I'm glad you like it !! :)
amazing!!! very satisfying and well planed proyect! Thanks for sharing your work!!
What a great work and idea, this is just out of this world. Thank you for sharing this great work and best luck in getting this into production. Best regards from Reykjavík, Iceland.
Thank you Herrmann!! Glad you like it ! :)
Great job!
Feels great to have watched this video.
Awesome desk. That hard work really paid off
I've never seen a built-in printer AND scanner in one of these desk PC builds! This has got to be the first, that too such an elegant design!
I love where the scanner is located..printer too! Great job!
Thank you for creating this video. You've nailed the pc-on-desk construction better than the other famous guys here on CZcams. You gained a subscribe today.
Thanks ! Glad you think that :)
Great Job! Congratulations!
Loved your work mate
Congratulations Pierre. This is an amazing and very professional project. This can definitely be a commercial product which could interest many people especially homeworkers.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it! :)
I hope it will become a commercial product ! But we're not there just yet! First we need to see if many people are interested.
Allé hop! Un p'tit commentaire pour booster l'algo ^^ et pour te dire que ton bureau Dé-chire! 🤩🤩🤩
its beautiful, and practical too
This dude is all rounder 👏 Nicely Done👌
Wahou impressive man ! That’s what I call dedication !
Thanks! Glad you like it!
The DIY Perks table is lovely, but this table holding a bunch of extra stuff for your office is divine!
Nice work. Lots of great information. Thanks!
A wonderful young man made a spectacular Desk PC, Wow.
great job! best work space i ever seen
awesome. I also have very little working space, so this gives me a lot of ideas. Thanks!
I'm really glad CZcams suggested me this video as I'm regular viewer of DiyPerks. 30 mins of today never felt most fascinating.
That's a pretty good work you came up i would love to see this in my home but budget constraints 😅. I'll try soom
Beautiful design
Good of you to give a shout out to the inspiration for your project. @DIY Perks should be suitably flattered.
Beau travail monsieur, vraiment beau travail.
Good Job! Congrats from Brazil!
I hope you are working fulltime on designing things like this. Looks so damn clean and practically. Awesome work!
Yes I spent most of my time working on new projects like this :)
That desk is amazing
A nice piece of work... It's a compact and complete bench setup for work.
Man this is one of the best DIY invisible desktop build
Great job. I really love your work.
Quel boulot... Bravo Pierre !!
Impressive man, good job!
What a splendid creation!
Fantastic Work!
I've watched DIY Perks and you getting inspired really inspired me by way of modifications you made according to your needs. I wish I could make a replica of yours but enjoyed watching all through. Keep it up.
While this isn't for me (I have plenty of space and don't mind things BIG at all), I'm amazed at how good this looks and how much you packed into a smaller, elegant desk.
While desk-pcs are nothing new, I don't think I've ever seen one with a scanner and printer built into it, let along a touchscreen secondary display. Fantastic job here. Really impressive work.
This is the best and most rich feature desk PC I've ever seen. Omg
Great job Pierre !
Best build I've seen so far!
Awesome Job! an upgrade to the DIY Perks Table!
Great work! And greater attitude to keep the knowledge open source 🙏. I wish your Kickstarter project takes off soon
Thanks! I hope we'll be able to launch soon too. The number of view are increasing so there's a good hope :)
Don't hesitate to share the video around if possible; that would be a huge help!
Great job!, @DIYPerks needs to see this.
Dude this is amazing, great craftsmanship 100%. I too had the idea of making something similar. But I like you slim design
Thanks !! Glad you like it :)
Without hiding from you, this job is pure genius ,,, I approve 300% well done I completely adore and I want to have it continue like this is pure good work congratulations
Awesome work, this would also look amazing in polished aluminum with rivets like an airplane wing.
I came from ur comment on diy perks ! Thats amazing man honestly! its astounding!
Thanks ! :)
Great desk. Cant wait for your second iteration :P
That was incredible. Saw your comment on diy perk and thought I'd come and take a look. Really thorough video.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!! :)
I really love this build. Fantastic job😀
this set up is jus WOW
Thanks !!
Very nice work. I really like your work from home desk.
Love the workstation 👌🏾 💯
Thanks !!
I love it,special thanks you to share the project it's amazing
Incredible build! I would love to be able to buy a frame like this one prebuilt for my own PC! Would definitely watch the Kickstarter for more. Keep it up Pierre!
Thanks !
Hope I can bring it quickly to Kickstarter, I really like this project :)
Fantastic engineering! Well done.
Thanks ! :)
This is very interesting indeed and definitely will be apart of my next project.
Absolutely brilliant build. I would swap the desk screen with my 9 Raspberry Pi 4 cluster, for that extra workhorse system to help with my work. Apart from that, looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
i really like the assortment of devices you hid in there! especially the ugly scanner and printer that usually just take up desk space. cool project!
I love your ambition and creativity I hope DIY Perks has seen what he has inspired.
Covid has meant to many of us are working from home and space is very limited so I would love to see a kick starter for this kind of project. Many of us have a work PC and a home pc integrating the home PC into the desk it's self is a great ID I think a kick started version should have a way to dock a macbook or similar laptop so only one power cable and one monitor would be required!
Great job!! Very interesting project!
