Ice Cube Relay and LED's in an Air Handler!

  • This is a small feeble attempt to look at an ice cube relay or what they call a plug in relay. I am really more interested in the circuits, sequence of operations, and thought processes for operation and troubleshooting. I'll probably always have the idea in my head that a relay is just a relay, no matter the model number, amps it can handle, or all the switches it may or may not have on it.
    It takes a while to get all the sequences in your head straight and I think a lot of it is memorizing for the first year or so...but it gets the job done I guess. Hopefully, if you are doing this for a career/job, you can get to where you are thinking of how systems are working and the controls that go along with that operation.
    And I know that the lighting is terrible so try to deal with me as I figure out this new camera and lighting situation. Thanks for watching and maybe it will help somehow.

    Good stuff as always. Lennox uses those relays on the energence roof top units as condenser fan controls
