Ever since I started watching Blade HQ videos I have noticed that Blade HQ people seem to really loves knifes as much as I do. The videos are also always entertaining and fun to watch. That Crooked River is gorgeous and will be my first "pricey" knife for my collection. I currently have 6 knives from $7 - $45. Hah. Can't wait. The only thing I'd change is that orange back spacer.
I don't own a Benchmade just because I haven't wanted to spend so much on a nice one but you guys are really getting me to love these knives. I held a Bugout the other day and I instantly fell in love with it. Gonna get the green one for sure!!

I carried the Benchmade Casbah for years. It was my all time favorite knife. Sadly someone decided they needed it more than me. I'm ordering another from ya'll. Always purchased my knives from BladeHQ. Very happy customer

Even though I'm not a hunter, the mini crooked river is by FAR my favorite knife, I just love everything about it
940 is the best EDC I have ever had.
Bugout, Para2, Para3, Delica and several others.
The 940 has utility for everything from food prep to opening boxes and even harder work.
For me, it is perfect, just picked up a 9400 and a ProTech TR3 but my 940 still sees heavy rotation.

I carry a Griptillian as my work knife. Takes the abuse I give it and always reliable.
I carry a CLA as my EDC for when I'm not at work. Useful for any menial tasks I have to do throughout the day as well as super snappy in case of personal defense.

Just picked up a Casbah. Love it! Only problem is need a smaller something for office and lot work. Ben ain't wrong. Have to get a mini Emissary.
Osborne 940 still my all time favorite Benchmade. I bought 3 about 10 Year’s ago, left 2 in the box, sealed. I’m pretty hard on knives so I thought I’d just have backup for when I destroyed the others. I still have the 2 extras, still sealed and in the boxes.

Hey guys, I've had the crooked river as my EDC for at least 5+ years now. snapped the tip off it once which Benchmade fixed. I also broke the Dymond wood grips once, which Benchmade replaced, both times - no questions asked, no cost. Their customer service is phenomenal, and if you are actually using your knives, it will come in handy. the only criticism i have about the knife is the Dymond wood has a very thin point by the lanyard hole, which is where my grips snapped. the regular size one is a big knife, so if you are considering one, just be aware. otherwise, i still carry it every day and don't leave the house without it. my son and wife both know its "daddy's knife."
The 940-2 is my favorite EDC knife I've ever owned. S30v holds a great edge, and I absolutely love the design. If I was using my knife all day, every day, I'd go with a different steel. But I'm not that guy. This will last me decades.
If you make the OTF in Blue it will definately be on my list. Love my Casbah, 940-1, and Bug out.
Will benchmade keep the ones with 154cm like that or will they upgrade the steel

The Phaeton is great! I bought it after purchasing The Infidel. I like it better. I love my Griptillian too as an EDC. I live in Massachusetts and it’s illegal to carry my Infidel or Phaeton but there’s no problem carrying my Griptillian.

How weird tho, Benchmade releases the mini Bugout at the same time your knife with WE was announced. Congratulations on your knife with WE Ben. I have the 940-1601 (cabelas edition). It has a d2 blade with a cherry wood/carbon fibre handle. It’s An amazing knife and I would definitely consider it my gentleman’s knife

I just bought a cla and I gotta say for the $225 it cost me I’m not happy with the safety lock. It is almost impossible to switch back and forth and feels like it’s going to break. If you notice josh is struggling with the one they have also. He doesn’t even open it back up after fiddling with the lock cuz it’s stuck in the lock position. What is the deal with this? This is my first benchmade and I really expected better

Not sure exactly why but my 535 bugout is likely the sharpest knife I own and I own hundreds lol do they all come that sharp or was it me resharpening it that made it split hairs 3 ways???

*A edc knife for me is always going to have a 3" blade or slightly smaller. The 3" blade is the most widely accepted blade length in the United States. Not to mention that it takes up less space in pocket. So if I'm going with a Benchmade knife it's gonna be the mini griptilian every time for that reason.*
Make a midi Griptilian. Make it right between the full size and mini.

The mini crooked river is an excellent EDC. Even though it's a branded "hunt" line knife, I wouldn't use it to skin or dress game... you could but it's a stylized EDC for sure; Ben was on the right track when he asked at 15:24, but the answer was deflected, I'm sure Hans couldn't give a straight "yes." The handle length and blade are perfect for daily tasks and even some food prep, but the Freek is better-suited work knife, and the bugout blade is super practical, but I have no desire to carry it because it lacks style in my opinion and the handle material brings in down in comparison. Great video guys.

love my 535gry i preordered from bladehq quickly my go to for work and edc
I love several of these knives, love Benchmade, however, for me a folder is a tool and it has many limitations vs. a fixed blade. Therefore I won't spend more than $75. For a folder. I understand you're using super steels but in reality the14c28n is excellent and can do whatever I need (I use a folder everyday) and I don't feel ripped off. I hard use my EDCs and I would be uncomfortable hard using a $250 folder. Jmo. I do enjoy these vids, the knives are beautiful. I truly believe these MOST of the super steels are more status than substance. A really good heat treat on a decent, less expensive steel will yield equal n sometimes better performance. Love you guys, keep these vids coming.
