I would expect them to buy and carry knives from other companies so we could have all company meetings at the end of the week and just have knife talk to discuss what we love about all of the different knives we were carrying for market research.

I carry the plain satin 407 Vallation every day. Absolutely love this thing. One handed opening and closing with the assist and it's an excellent fit in my hand. Very happy it made it across the Canadian border, couldn't be happier! I also carry a freek in the left pocket.....

If I could pick any Benchmade I would definitely go with the anthem. When I was on the search for a Benchmade I came across the anthem and it immediately caught my eye as the exact shape of a knife I want. Sadly it's way too expensive and I think discontinued now. Hopefully they make another knife with a similar design.

It's a great knife. I've had a. Bugout for years. Used it rough too. Just got rid of it last week for the mini Osbourne. Lost my fullsize 940 so decided to sell one.
My favorite is the rukus blackwood, I've had it for at least 15 years, two tours to the sandbox under its belt.

@@ordinaryaverageguy3233 Benchmade was in the news a month or so ago... they volunteered to assist the neighboring police department destroy a number of firearms that were seized in crimes or turned in by citizens. They used benchmade tools to chops up a bunch of guns. A lot of people in the 2nd Amendment community (big overlap with the knife community) declared Benchmade anti-gun because of their actions. They have had a PR nightmare on their hands ever since and their sales numbers are down.
The bigger news is they were found to be donating thousands of dollars to Democrats the last 5 years. 100% actually 🤮

Did anyone at Benchmade end up getting Ruby-Ridged for making an NFA regulated Short Barrel Shotgun with no tax stamp?
My favorite Benchmades are the 630 Skirmish and the 635 Mini Skirmish, followed closely by the 710 McHenry and Williams. Both are now discontinued ☹️. I do like the Anthem and the Super Freek, but I keep hoping for a Skirmish Flipper in m390 or a full titanium 710 😊.
"Crisp clean bevels" i laughed hard and loud! My poor 940 saw 3 different blades before we got one that worked. The most uneven factory grinds on the market, and I love benchmade so hopefully the qc gets tightened up soon.

I'm actually carrying my Grizzly Ridge. Sceptical at first, but all its features complement my deck work on towing ships phenomenally! Show the ridge some love next time you're talking Benchmade because it's also a fantastic (albeit situational) carry! S30V for that salty water and edge retention when cutting synthetic rope materials, grippy anti slint handlematerial for max grip even when wet or oily, high visibility orange accents to spot it more easily in the dark or when dropped. the recurve really gives a solid lever effect for a deep initial cut, and twin jimping if you really need two fingers on the blade saved me some valuable time as well. love it

I too own 3 Benchmades (mini Barrage, Bugout, Bushcrafter.) I paid good money for these blades. One has significant sentimental value. I won’t be dumping them. That being said..I won’t be buying anymore.

Most challenging knife I've ever sharpened. The phaeton. The steel was so soft it just didn't want to hold a decent edge. Told the customer to send it back because the steel was so bad
So crazy that the bugout is popular. I bought one and returned it to the dealer. I do have 2 940s though. Love them. One is for when the other one goes back to Benchmade for sharpening and spa service. No way I'm gonna mess with it when they do a perfect job.
I think the bugout would be great for a 30 dollar knife...like a spyderco Byrd Meadowlark 2 or something. Anyway, that's just me. I'm done, happy, my 2 940s will last many decades for me.
