    I'm 54. Started doing 100 a day (min) about 2 years ago. Had to start with sets of ten, on a step to cheat a bit. Now I knock out sets of 35- 40 and recently did 60 consecutive. Not only my arms and chest look great, my obliques and abs are starting to chisel. I look better now than I did ten years ago, and I'm objectively stronger than I've ever been. Don't wait. DO ten pushups. Right NOW.
    (EDIT: Two years and 4000 likes later (and some 70,000 pushups), I still do my 100 a day. I said it two years ago, and I'm saying it now. Do 10 pushups Right NOW! I'm going to go do 25. Right now.)

    I fucking love Chris, not only he is the one who inspired me to start working out, but he also helped me out during a really depressing time in my life. I wasn't happy with my body weight and was constantly made fun of it at school by people. This made me me extremely self conscious and I was seriously considering suicide. When my uncle introduced me to THENX I started tried it out and started to work out with him. Something about Chris really motivated me to do change my lifestyle by eating healthy and training. I don't know why he was the one who inspired me to change, unlike other programs that I used to watch, but something about him is really encouraging and I am extremely thankful for that. Now I've lost a lot of weight (no where near perfect though) but I noticed I'm way less self conscience and not being bullied anymore for my weight. I frickin love you man, and please continue to help people like me to get in the best form they can be! Peace out 🖤🖤🖤

But DON’T GIVE UP ! You can also do 10 push-ups with breaks in between each before breakfast, 10 in the middle of the morning, 10 before lunch... you got it ? So never give up, guys. You deserve to have the confidence that you can do it... by doing it in the first place.

    My Advice would be to not care about the reps, do all the variations, if you can do 5 of each, you're already good. Your goal should be to increase the number of reps of every variation to 6,7,8 of each etc. But still, this is just my opinion, and if you want to do 100 push ups with Chris Method, do it. It's still a very good way.

    I've really never been in great shape in my life but about 3ish years ago I saw a video about people doing 100 pushups a day everyday and for some reason it inspired me, I decided I would try it for myself and hit a minimum of 100 a day. I started off with 5 sets of 20, then eventually moved onto 4 sets of 25, 3 sets of 35, 3 sets of 45, 3 sets of 45 with a light resistance band, and now I'm at 3 sets of 50 with a medium resistance band. I have never been one to workout regularly or take it all that serious but I am religious with my pushups, it's been over 3 years now and I have never missed a day (I even did them after getting into a motorcycle accident). I have to say it really has made a positive impact on my life, I'm still not in phenomenal shape by any means but I'm more than happy with myself and it has really influenced me to make more healthy decisions in my life. It also showed me how easy something like that is to do and fit into a daily routine, it really is very easy and takes no time at all. I would highly recommend doing this to others especially if you're like myself, just go at your own pace, slowly progress into more reps, and really try to make a habit of it.

    Great video and inspiration; am 59 years old and push out 105-110 regular pushups in one set 4 days of the week and limit myself to 70 reps 2 days, Tuesdays and Thursdays, after my afternoon weight lifting push-days, and followed the pushups with sets of planks and a bit of stretching, all accomplished in 13-15 minutes. I started with barely 13 pushups, never thought I would reach or break the 100 rep mark but kept on trying and did, with pure daily persistence we all can if we try. I did it to start my mornings in a positive note and also after seen I was relying too much on coffee to kickoff my days. I've always avoided pushups even during my gym-rat days when I was younger and now I love them, try it guys; Mr. Heria suggestion is one of the best things you'll do for your body and mind; it will start your days with a win by competing with yourself, early morning winnings feel great!!

    @KingpinsMindset Před 2 měsíci +1

    I started to do 1 set 100 pushups not long ago. I understand many think they can't do it, but, a lot of you would be surprised that you can. On some days, I already start to get to the point where at 30-40, I need to stop, but not break the position for the pushup, and then continue once I collect enough energy. This means there is a serious struggle for 60-70 reps. If needed, I lean a bit backwards with my body, to obtain some relief from chest and triceps (push your ass back and up, and let the rest of the body follow so that your arms extend and your face is almost looking at your feet). It's super mandatory not to rush this, do every single rep super clean, pause at the top, and even do a slight pause at the bottom. The pump that you get after this is brutal, I seriously start to fall in love with this, especially because it's serious mental and physical challenge. I mean, you go deep in your thoughts trying to pull out the mental strength to not quit. I suggest this to everyone to try. Just make sure to warmup, and don't stop even if it hurts, and it will hurt, most of the time.

I can get to clapping pushups with you and then I need around 30s of break between each set. I can do 50 30 20 to get to 100, when I started, 30 was problematic.
