    John, Can’t believe the snow! I like the review. Last time I played Piunte it was very windy and quite difficult.

    Hey John, I always appreciate your putting tips and this sounds like another good one. Looking forward to seeing more of your thoughts on course management.

      Thank you. I've been thinking about the course reviews for a long time because I play all over Las Vegas, Southern Utah, Nevada and Palm Springs Palm Desert, Scottsdale, etc. and I thought people planning a trip might like to know about courses...the course management video part of the review is a way to show more of the course and demonstrate how anyone can score better with a little strategy. Might even try to do a You Tube Live on some of these.

      Agree. And that’s how I plan to do the videos although it’s a little scary I sometimes hit bad shots. LOL

    Hey John
    Question for you. Does the putter grip affect the way you putt? Like the actual grip fitted on the putter? And subsequently fitting the correct style grip on face balanced and toe hang putters ?

    • @misteroneputt
      @misteroneputt  Před 3 měsíci +1

      The actual grip fitted on the putter doesn't really affect the way you putt. It is mostly a matter of personal preference. Certainly some putter grips are more compatible with the way you hold the putter than others. For instance I use a Kotahi Grip which is made for using a Palms Up style holding of the putter...works for any style but perfect for Palms Up. I rotate mine 40 degrees to the right so that the "teardrop" fits into the web of my right hand...purely a personal preference. There is no putter grip that works better on a face balanced or toe hang putter or on the Mass Balanced Honu or the Lie Angle Balanced L.A.B. golf putters. The grip really doesn't matter relative to putter type other than LAB golf's putters working better with their grip or a broomstick style putter or an armlock putter

    Hi John. I have the Honu and use claw grip. I don’t like the grip set at square. How much do you rotate your grip for a better feel?? Thanks

    Hey John. Big fan of your page. I’m a 5 who statistically putts like a 14. I’ve seen a video recently on letting one hand dominate the putting stroke. I seem to roll it smoother when I do this in practice.
    My question is this: my hands are dominant in different things. I throw right handed, but I eat and write left handed. I’m also right eye dominant. Which hand would provide the smoother putting stroke as my “feel it” hand vs the “along for the ride” hand?

    • @misteroneputt
      @misteroneputt  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I would try right hand leading and left along for the ride. Then try the left leading. But try right dominant first

      The only thing I notice w this is it’s harder to square my shoulders if the left hand comes on last.
      Can I grip left hand first, then swoop the right hand in from under to ensure square shoulders?
      I’ve also found focusing on a stable lower body + keeping my head down for a 1 count post impact seems to eliminate pushes and pulls.

    • @misteroneputt
      @misteroneputt  Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@ebitalian02767 I would think you could put left-hand on first and then put the right hand in. But yes, it’s critically important to keep the shoulders square.
