This is actually an amazing idea for real. Only problem could be the low light / no light capabilities of what ever glasses said investigator would be using.

That’s a great idea! It always annoyed me that they’d point the camera at themselves and fail to capture what they saw or worse, they tell you what they saw the morning after and say, “we didn’t record it so you have to believe us on this.” Bruhhhh.
i've suggested things like this in the past, there are camera glasses that run off sd cards and will record for as long as there is space to record onto, i think it would be a welcome addition to most real investigation teams as they aren't adding things in post

These are a great idea. I wear sunglass day and night because of light sensitivity and having camera lights pointed at me by other team members is an issue. So the dark ones would suit me fine. Tech is improving all the time so i can see these sort of glasses becoming more of the investigators tool kit in future. Thanks for doing this video, I wonder how much these cost. Cheers

Mythos! Yes! We want to get body or head cameras. All this costs money tho. It’s going to take time to get all this gear. We also want to wear super quiet clothing. I was looking up stealth clothing so we don’t get the potential for flash evp with clothing. What I found is that hoodie sweatpants type material is the best. So we are going to be wearing and having everyone on the investigation wear a sweatsuit. We are going to look ridiculous! 😂 yeah. Thank you Mythos.

Your point is valid. They're too busy keeping their face/reactions on camera. That's usually the first red flag for me when it comes to a channel.
That's a great idea, and to my knowledge the only ghost hunting channel that has attempted some thing like this is the "Overnight" channel, they started to wear body cameras.

Why not! If I was a paranormal investigator I'd give them a go. Obviously, you'd have to swap out the dark lense for the transparent lense if you were doing a night investigation, but that's no real bother, so yeah, I'd definitely give them a whirl, because you just never know!!! 👍🏻
Brilliant idea! However something I've wondered about for years....are apparitions visible through cameras? OK, yeah I've seen some famous photos with a couple of faint ones that we've probably all seen. I saw a full body apparition when I was 17, many years ago and luckily my now ex bf saw it too. We can't stand each other but he will admit he saw it. Still a fab idea to wear them though and I wish they would. Great video mythos. Thank you!

I have been saying this ever since I started watching GA many years ago. Wear a chest cam if you don't want one of your head but again unfortunately it won't catch what you are looking at unless you are facing that way with your whole body. My thought's on why they won't do it is, because they can't fake it if they have a camera pointing in that direction. Imagine one of them saying 'I just saw something' and the camera shows nothing.

.the only thing for me would be the restriction of side view having worn both types of glasses i remember the feeling of having thin arms on a pair of glasses and the difference when i swapped to a thicker type purely for driving or mountain biking and in both cases i didnt like not being able to see to the side but turning the head sorts this out and yes i can see the twch wouldnt fit anywhere else , unless ! @beargryls is listening or elon musk lol - what about putting the technology on a back piece that would fit behind the head like a thin band similar to those lines we use to not lose our glasses that way the arms could remain thin enough to be usable 😊

LoL! You should check out what Shane and Ryan from Watcher use. They’re super prepared! But I doubt any other channel can afford it or willing to wear it though.
I was scrolling through to see if anyone had mentioned Shane & Ryan. It definitely is cumbersome but does the job!

There seem to be two types. One is commonly called "Spirit Box" and is cycling radio frequencies very quickly. It is said that ghosts can talk into the spaces (white noise) between these frequencies, so if you get a word there, it's a ghost. In reality, most likely it's either a snippet from a radio channel or simple audio pareidolia.
The other type consists of these cellphone apps. Somehow a spirit is said to influence the phone via its sensors, making it say words through the app. I reality, it's just a big word databank (which can even be edited and added to), spewing out random words from its list. Most likely the apps also use the location data of the cellphone, so it is very likely to get something like "nurse" inside of a hospital.
Would be great if Mythos could do a video about both.
Dishonory mention: these magical machines used by channels like Huff Paranormal, claiming to be able to directly contact a spirit in the beyond. Not only are these machines only playing real voices or recorded passages by the contacted person, just put through distorting and creepy filters, they are the most disrespectful kind of channels on this platform, contacting recently departed celebrities only a day or two after their passing away, with no respect for grieving relatives and loved ones.
I love this idea and tbh they look like Oakley's and Spy sunglasses from the gas can era google it if you don't understand
I was thinking about these youtubers recording with a 360 camera. That way they will record everything that's around them.
Yes of course go-pro it's so easy 2 do they don't cost much especially 2 those so called big ghost Hunter's t*** paranormal, Jackass lol, etc. I suggested that my haunted house and 2 Beardo that when they r ghost hunting use a Burst Camera coz that take about 30 photos per second and what u don't catch in 1photo u may in another ye, Great Video Mythos as usual take care buddy

It's a great idea. They'd have to be able to record pretty decently in night vision or in dim to low lighting. The fakers would find a reason why they can't use them. Very cool idea though. 😊

For real investigators a head go pro or the glasses would be a great idea, if affordable. For the fakers, it’s mean more time having to edit their “evidence” to match up with other camera angles, if they were able to at all. The fakers are better able to afford that technology-how bass ackwards is that, smh-so maybe this could open some of their fans eyes or make them ask, “yeah, why aren’t they using this technology”. Might be a good idea; I don't know how their resolution and overall quality is, especially in low-light conditions. But then again, I never understood why all investigations are done at night. Can one of the real non-faking teams maybe explain this?

Go pro another camera u could just stick to your head or pin it to your clothes. I like the glasses at lease the paranormal people will capture a ghost and not their face.
I suspect that, at least amongst the big name cable television and millions of views CZcams channels, they would be reluctant to do something like this because it makes it much harder to fake content. The real ghost hunters tend to not get very many views because their content is boring and technical, with phenomena occurring infrequently and when it does it remains unexplained and unconfirmed. To get the hits like Sam & Colby do you have to resort to tricks like using flashlights or triggering a REM pod on command, and if they provided uncut bodycam footage people would see how much of it is utter bollocks.

Yeah, but Ghost Adventures do that as much as anyone, and have you seen the amount of cameras they use all over the place.
Just quickly on this, there was an earlier episode of ghost adventures, he was looking at his camera screen while filming a painting in night vision, looked away, got freaked out and swore he saw a woman, even the same woman he just saw in the painting, standing right in front of him.

I would not at all be able to tell you the name of the episode, it was really early on, in one of the first series.
I remember it as being in an old western building, like western themed. I can't remember if it was a museum or maybe a themed restaurant or something.
In those days I was pretty intrigued by ghosts. I've never actually believed, but back then I was completely open to it.
So seeing things like that, that was the beginning of the end for me.
If he had of had a laugh afterwards, said how silly he felt afterwards, I'd probably just laugh it off.
But he didn't. It was kept in during the editing, there was absolutely nothing to suggest they wanted to admit to how stupid it was.
He was looking into his camera with night vision, with the camera directed at the painting of a woman. He turns his head to look in another direction, jumps, freaks out, starts going on about seeing the woman he was just looking at in the painting standing right in front of him.
And tgats how it stayed for the editing.

I mean, when editing, you look at miniscule parts of clips over and over again. Something like that would be obvious and I woulda' left it out if I were their editor. But I would never be their editor because I would refuse to leave fake crap in...haha!

It's actually what has led me to be pretty confident ghosts don't exist, watching those shows.
