The Boys CAUGHT STAGING Paranormal Evidence? Hmm...

- Hmmm very strange!! I was very suspicious on my second watch and think I've figured things out. I now will be watching them with an extra little bit of a skeptical eye looking for how an extra would be working behind the scenes.
Let me know what you think down in the comments!
Make sure you watch right to the end to not miss anything
Thanks for watching, please share.

As someone who is a big fan of the Boys, I think you were respectful & had lots of good points 🤷♀️
(never caught the person behind the toilet door at all 🙈)
Mightnt agree with all the points, but I can still say job well done 👍

@@MythosParanormal ya even if it's someone I disagree with in the comments, most have been polite. Some not so much. But at the end of the day, they are allowed to have their own opinions. The boys admitted that their earlier videos were fake but then they caught things and a few of them actually started to believe and got more serious
In what video or text did they admit this? :o Just curious
@@Scaredlittleraven They are pretty consistant about it, usually in the videos they make on their individual channels or in the member only videos. Keep in mind though that when they say stuff is fake they mean in the moment usually but I think their first video was just for a laugh.
@@Scaredlittleraven i also remember them admitting this although i don't remmember wich video, i think it was either joshdubs video or a video that wasn't connected to paranormal stuff where they mentioned it.
What about the infrared picture they got at the lighthouse? It was during the second estas method. Plus Juicy said he actually saw the figure before even seeing it on camera. The video was mostly Estas method but I think that was just mostly because there wasn’t much else to do there lol. Still they experienced some pretty freaky things like the footage corrupting. Still I think you’re being pretty fair in this video.
Here's the thing though, without the context of who the boys are it would seem like they're making up evidence and that's because they are goobers. The earlier videos are them just making fun of paranormal investigators so yes they did make it up in those silly videos. They got into the paranormal world as a joke, so the first videos they did were just having fun. Watching the videos backwards isn't the best idea.
I personally don't think they are manufacturing evidence, but they definitely don't investigate what they do find in the moment enough to debunk it.
I really hope eddie sees this video and responds because he's been super cool and transparent on all of his own debunking/debriefing videos
Well said and Eddie doesn't want stuff to be faked. Also narrator doing stuff with twin paranormal has been so good lately too. They're getting more serious about it
I think they are still manufacturing evidence, whether intentionally or not. I suspect Juicy is trained in cold reading because he always seems to steer the conversation to make it fit the narrative. And whether intentional or not there are a lot of times with the spirit box where they say words that are most definitely not what the radio is saying, or when the guys listening to the responses misheard what was said and go off on a tangent because it helps fit the story they were told. That is part of the problem, they always begin the investigations by taking the tour and familiarizing themselves with the stories, so their brains are already primed to look for specific words and names related to the tales they were told. So whether they are faking it on purpose or not, these situations are still them being guilty of manufacturing the evidence.
We also know how easy it is to fake a REM Pod and set it off at will, plenty of the "ghost hunting" channels do things like that because it makes their content more exciting. If they were serious about it they would point out that a lot of things could be interfering with it in giving them false results, but instead they harp on about how its impossible to fake and could only go off if something got close to it. The worst was in their newest video with Sam & Colby where they bought a literal toy and used it as the focus of their investigation. It was designed, and says so in the instruction manual, to go of at pre-programmed intervals to simulate ghost activity for entertainment purposes. Yet they make a huge deal about the responses they are getting from communicating through it, even though it is programmed to go off randomly and isn't even claiming to actually pick up ghost activity. Now maybe they don't know it is fake and just saw somebody else do it and thought it was cool, like the time they did the flashlight thing, but whether they mean to do it or not they still end up manufacturing evidence by using these unscientific instruments.
@@Megz_ittybit Eddie is probably the least skeptical of all The Boys, or at least the one who most wants to believe, although Josh seems to buy into it all as well, but unfortunately his willingness to believe also means he ends up being tricked more easily. That is why in their react to the Sam & Colby series he was immediately on board with Cody and Satori being genuine and took quite a lot of convincing that they were just frauds, and even then he wasn't completely convinced. He is already biased by his desire to believe so he tends to go all in thinking everything is meaningful during the shoot and doesn't remember to put on the skeptical glasses until he goes back over the video weeks or months later.
@@topknotg5530 the funniest sentence in this whole novel is juicy being trained in cold reading
@@siosinsin7305 In what way? He is pretty blatant in the way he steers the conversation during their Spirit Box sessions (or the Lie Detector video).
“Agh, get off my screen,” might be the best line I’ve ever heard in a reaction video!! 🤣🤣👌🏻👌🏻
as a big fan of the boys its disappointing to see but honestly its expected majority of the 'ghost hunting' content is fake
I know, but I'll still watch. I love Eddie and the boys
I still watch Ghost Adventures even though I know they are fake cuz it's entertaining. Though it's gotten harder to watch cuz Zak's ego has gotten so big.
You're gonna be surprised when you find out that all ghost content is fake
It is always best to assume that any popular CZcams creators (or cable television shows) are at best overselling and at worst outright faking in order to get more views. I don't know which of The Boys are in on the act and which genuinely believe, but somebody is certainly staging their content.
@@hamsterrwrld6767 Eddie at least seems to genuinely want to believe, so I don't think he would be faking. And Josh at least says he wants to be serious, but he is also the guy that usually wrote their VR skits so he could certainly be staging this too. But Juicy comes off like one of those TV psychics who train in cold reading techniques so he always seems to be in on it because he is the one who takes the tours and studies the history of the place and then leads the conversations in a way that will fit the narrative even if the topic has nothing to do with it. Mully is just Mully, he likes causing chaos and breaking things. Narrator I assumed was the most skeptical, but then he started making content with twin Paranormal so now I can't help but wonder if he is a complete fake too.
Man!! I am really getting addicted to Mimir from God of War debunking paranormal investigators.
😂😂😂😂
I thought his voice sounded familiar 💀
I had to Google him lol I'll get two horns for the next video!
@@MythosParanormal ohhhh wow! Didn't expect a reply from you. But I will have to say this. You sound a lot like him. Thanks for making such great content. Till next time, Mimir- The smartest man alive.
Well they never were paranormal investigators and never claimed to be but I understand why some people might be upset
Another good one, Mythos! They are funny and entertaining. I do like putting the microphone in the headset of the estes method, too. 2 investigations? Wow, good breakdown again! 😊❤
I completely understand where you are coming from. Them pranking each other does bring down the validity of their videos, especially the earlier videos. However I do trust their newer videos. Particularly the one with Sam and Colby
So do i
Their whole channel is joking around
nah bro, there is nothing real in that video at all. the thing they caught on camera is just the night vision struggling to adjust to the darkness while it was moving. the whole spiritbox thing is just fake too. just imagine a ghost knowing what is playing on the local radio and somehow it turns on the radio at exact moments a specific word is needed for a story to align perfectly. its all fake. dont fall into this trap. its fine to believe ghosts are real and maybe they are but nearly all of this ghost hunting stuff on youtube is 1000% faked.
I don’t even trust Sam and Colby tbh
Hi I live in Victoria (where the asylum is) and I live in Ballarat (near arradale) that place is creepy, haunted and not somewhere you go alone
I like how you agree on some points, even at some points were kinda validating some of their supernatural experiences but also gave a lot of reasonable explanations. I can tell you genuinely wanted to love their content. I'm so mixed about the last part because I rather be delusional and think it was a local than them set it up... which sounds bad but idk. But you're probably right as per usual but I'll always keep an open mind of course
Nicely said.
You have that big of a group, investigating a lighthouse, and you didn't think of splitting up different people to each landing? You hear someone singing above you, and can't send 2 out of 6 to find the source of the sound? Maybe I'm biased, but an actual voice is much more attractive evidence than a bunch of radio chatter nonsense. So yeah, I was disappointed from the start.
Exactly lol like come on guys wtf... Unless that would be impossible because they had a girl up there lol!
To be fair, I was investigating the paranormal I would never split up. Horror movies taught me that this would end badly.
Who tf is going towards disembodied singing coming from the top of a dark ass haunted lighthouse😂?

Mythos! I just found your content because of John Wolfe's rec for your satori debunking videos and I love watching you reason your way through these cases. I'm so excited to see more of your takes on people in the YT paranormal community, like Watcher Entertainment. Awesome thanks so much!! That's coming harder and harder to find the more I realize what people are up to lol there definitely still are honest teams out there though

Had major editing issues with this lol it was meant to be up about a week and a half ago, then that new vid came out! Shall I check it out? I only watched the shadow bit
Whatever happened in the school when Eddie had a gun and Juicy still took off running, he definitely saw something. Could've been a squatter, could've been something else. I will say, I don't think they're actively faking anything. I think they psych themselves out sometimes. To be fair, Eddie usually goes over these vids afterward and invites people to debunk them. Also the clown motel was a joke, they revealed that the next day, Eddie was in the costume, he and one of the camera guys planned it, Grant (Narrator) legitimately almost killed him without realizing it was Eddie, they've joked about that incident since. I also still think it's plausible that is there were squatters in the Japanese hotel, they could have known it well enough to screw with them, including the stall door thing. I urbex and i've had similar things happen.
Yeah the Japan one they did say in the members if I am remembering correctly that they did NOT have permission to be there *could be false*
I like these guys and always chalked the paranormal stuff up to bits and entertainment.
Paranormal Quest is the best for letting us hear the estes method so good on these guys for being the only other team to do it.
Fr I love how they did that
Oh apparently the conjuring hse owners rant the other day happened when it did, because in their last video (the one with S&C) the Boys completely mocked Catori & their knocking method!
Several times 🤭😂
And in 1 frame you can see Colby laughing away at them mocking it 😂
Which is why she also # S&C at the end of her rant 🙊

@@lisalasers they did it a couple of times more too 🤭🤭😂
Do love your videos. So much respect for how you deliver your content. ☀️💚
This channel just cheers me up! 😂 You should have a lot more subscribers and I imagine you will! 😊
You kind of talked about this, but one thing to consider when using the Estes method is that the subtitles they put over the sounds heard from the radio may not be accurate to what is genuinely being spoken. The power of suggestion is huge in subtly influencing people's thoughts. Because you are reading the word in the subtitles, your brain associates the sounds you hear with that word and confirms that was what the radio said. It's like the "brainstorm or green needle" test if you've ever done that. When watching their videos, I usually cover the subtitles so I can't read what they claim it's saying and listen for myself. And like you said you'll notice many of the words don't quite match up with the sounds from the radio.
When you are a channel member the videos are inedited and they usually upload the full estes method sections separately with the audio enhanced. They do this so we can actually hear what is said.
@@GrimReaper12367 where do you find these uploaded full estes method vids? I'd like to check them out. Becuase I've seen tons of their videos, and their recent collabs w/ Sam & Colby where the subtitles don't match the actual audio if you listen for yourself. So if they have enhanced audio I wanna see if it changes anything
@@thatbluejayx on their channel membership they are available. They put a microphone in their headphones when doing estes.

A 45 minute Mythos video! What a treat to start the day off with :D
I enjoy The Boys too. If you go and watch their own individual channels and watch their reactions to their own videos, they will admit that when they started doing "ghost" investigations that they were staging things to be entertaining or funny.
Special Ed (the member who talks ghost stuff the most) states that they didn't really take their ghost investigations seriously until they went to an asylum in Australia about 2 years ago. So I'm not surprised that their newer fans are disappointed in their old ghost videos.
I still have to watch your reaction in full and look forward to what you say about their newer investigations.
(EDIT) Watched the video. Super fair criticisms and pretty much the same views as myself and others.
Yes their earlier stuff is super staged. Exp. Eddie was in the clown costume, he admits it in their members only video. The abandoned resort in Japan is super cringe because I think that was them for a lot of what happened. I suspect Juicy or Mulley threw the glass that made them run. Plus that resort isn't known to be haunted so I believe they were screwing around.
These are all definitely their earlier videos where they screwed around for fun. It's their lighthouse, asylum, conjuring, and second trip to the asylum that are them taking things more seriously. It's fair to doubt them in their more serious investigations because of how much they faked for entertainment. But they've definitely improved their approach and we should be skeptical anyways.
I look forward to more of their serious investigations and trying to debunk what is/isn't staged. Also, I'm super biased, been a fan of theirs since their VR skit days.
Very well said. Some people here have good points
I am willing to accept that Eddie is serious and truly wants to believe, but I am less sure about the rest. Narrator has done several videos with Twin Paranormal now and they are extremely fake, so that makes me more skeptical of him and wondering if he could be faking things in the Boys videos just like his friends do in theirs. Juicy puts up red flags for me because he always seems to be the one steering the conversations, twisting it to make it so that whatever random word they hear fits the narrative they are promoting. Mully likes to mess around and I am pretty sure he doesn't believe any of it but just plays along for the camera. I don't really know about Josh, in the video where they reacted to Sam & Colby he was almost as easily duped by Cody and Satori as Eddie was, but I suppose it is possible that any of them could be playing along as a bit.
I haven't seen them do any serious investigations yet. They still always go into things by taking the tour so that their brains will be primed to seek out specific information and suffer from pareidolia as they twist it to fit expectations. They still use gadgets which have been debunked and proven to be easily faked or susceptible to false readings from RF interference like the REM Pods, and go on and on about how reliable they are and make such a big fuss about them. And they still do the Spirit Box sessions where when they let us hear the audio we as an audience can tell that they are hearing words that are not in the actual audio and creating elaborate stories to make it so that the obscure words they hear can have something to do with what they are expecting. If they did a serious investigation they probably wouldn't publish it because it would be too boring, or it would be like the new Asylum video where they have to fill it with skits because they aren't getting any results from their usual array of toys. And then it is no longer a serious investigation and instead becomes a video where you are using a toy that pretends to talk to ghosts in order to teach a ghost how to do modern dances and end with fart jokes because you didn't get any of the faked content they got the first time when somebody was triggering the devices to make things more exciting.
I love how a gang of grown men run 😂 unbelievable 😂.... and the wrong way 😂 your investigating ghosts bro
i love listening to you talk about this! you speak with facts and respect and it’s rare to get anymore ! keep it up ❤
Thanks so much! Thanks for watching 🙌
I have to disagree on this one but you do have some good points. I just think using their older content to say that they’re faking stuff now isn’t the best way. They probably got more serious about the paranormal as time went on. Now does that mean they’re 100% believable? No. But I think they’re more chill and having a few laughs while doing an investigation. I think it’s important to be serious about the investigation but also have a little fun so you don’t feel depressed about stuff. That’s just my opinion though. Keep up with your videos. Very enjoyable and thoughtful.😅
Couldn't agree more.
Thing is they have faked videos before so thats it, lost all trust. If they DID capture a spirit singing now I don't believe it because of them faking before. So I now just think it's bull
@@MythosParanormal Understandable. I just think sometimes the past is in the past. 😅
@@MythosParanormal Yea, I agree with u on their past videos as they have admitted they were just for fun and had skits in them. But after the conjuring, they have started to take it seriously and do try to debunk what they can with what they know. Such as eddie who has done breakdowns after the 2 newest ghost videos, you should watch them. Plus with them faking content I dont think they faked with the intention that they would be seen as actual ghost stuff just moreso their usual videos but at haunted locations, so they were more content minded. So I personally think the videos before the conjuring should be seen as joke ghost hunting while the ones after being actual ghost hunting. Now of course they could still be faking as they are youtubers but they could also be telling the full truth, it is just impossible to know from video because of the ease it is to fake.
@@MythosParanormal Ngl, i think thats an L take to say, just because they faked videos before doesn't mean they can't have non staged/real videos, some people change
Love watching your content dude, you are awesome!!!
Hi Mythos! Hope you're doing well. I didn't expect to like watching these guys, but I was getting into it.
I agree with most all of your deductions, but the reaction dude at the end didn't convince me of his honesty; he rarely looked into the camera (at us). And I don't think he's being shy!😂 He knew who the two were at the end of the hall 😏.
Thanks for giving us a twofer!❤
Great job Mythos,, not watched much of the boys but they do look fun to watch. Might have to check their vids sometime. TLOU is such a banger of a game btw!
Hell yeah!!
They started out each with their own gaming channels and formed the group channel to collab together, but switched from gaming to reaction videos because they are more profitable. Them hopping on the ghost hunting bandwagon is likely also a product of just doing what will bring in the views. But if you enjoy The Last of Us you might enjoy some of their solo content, Eddie (EddieVR/SpecialEdd) in particular plays a lot of horror games and Juicy (Big Juicy) has done a few as well, but the other three Narrator, Mully, and Josh don't really enjoy horror as much so don't often cover those types of games.
@@MythosParanormal did you play Ghost of Tsushima also?
Great video, Mythos! Love the honest reactions to the odd things that happened, that may have well been paranormal. You give it as it is, without being snarky, or judgmental, since you DO believe to an extent.

Hi Mythos.
Thank you for spoiling us with a longer video. I’ve never heard of the boys, but they seem entertaining. It’s always sad to see fake ghost hunts. But it’s the groups that insist they are legit that anger me. These guys seem better known for making entertainment vids, so I wouldn’t even start to take them seriously.
But as always I have enjoyed your perception given in such a lovely calm manner.
I can’t wait to watch you go out investigating. ❤
Shoutout to Paranormal Quest
The 2 random dudes are Dose and tbh I forgot the other guy's name, but they're the 2 camera guys that recording every video. They are in most videos at least once. I'm not saying that wasn't both of them in the hall, it probably was, but just letting you know. There's also a camera girl too named Ilana that is Josh's sister in most videos and she could've been the one peeking.
They had a new camera girl. They said it in the video
Great job mythos. 😀. You really had me at first. 😅

New to your channel and its sad that people are faking about the paranormal. Do you have a video with youtubers we can trust? I feel its hard to find . Great video! Love from Sweden!
Thank u for checking them out
St Augustine in general is my favorite vacation town in Florida and the lighthouse is wonderful daytime or ghost touring. I went with my family and while I am an extreme skeptic, someone kept tapping me on my shoulder and someone kept tugging on my sister's hair. I mean I think obviously my sister was pranking me but it was still weird.
Thats cool that you've been 😁👌
Overnight also plays the spirit box audio when doing the Estes method. I agree more channels should do that.
Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts, and I definitely agree with most of the things you said. I watched a few of The Boys paranormal videos but I stopped because I hated the pranks. I enjoy paranormal videos when it seems like they’re going in to investigate with an open mind. I don’t want them to believe every gust of wind is a ghost, but I don’t want them to treat it like a joke.
I don’t mind the occasional little prank, like coming around the corner and scaring your friend, but anything more than that makes me question if other things are legitimate. Whether they’re faking or not, I just prefer creators who care enough to avoid adding that suspicion.
When I found your channel, I immediately subscribed after watching some content Cody & satori debunking videos of yours I love your channel and what you have to say about it, I love that your honest and overall you are an amazing CZcamsr and deserve more attention, thank you for all your hard work! I really enjoy these longer videos!
Mythos and John Wolfe are the shit.
Love this one. I like the entertainment side but it leaves enough to the imagination. I am thinking the same as you on having people around to move things for them.
Just some perspective from someone who subscribes to the boys membership for uncut videos, they are pretty open about when they are messing around (a lot in the older videos). They now do more serious investigations that i dont believe from the uncut footage that they fake but i do definitely believe they hype each other up into being scared just from small sounds and give paranormal explanations to things that are easily explained.
Good one Mythos! Iguess its because I'm old but I just can't watch shows like theirs. Can't take the bro/dude running and hearing something but not going to see where or what its coming from.
i love the video game references mythos, mixing my favorite things. paranormal and video games
Great video! I have serious doubts about the Estes method - they hear what fits their narrative.
What they really need is to go into an investigation without taking the tour and not studying up to learn the history of the place. Tour guides know how to prime your brain so that you are more likely to see and hear things which conform to expectations, so they pick out things that go along with the story they are expecting and ignore those which don't. And they get hyper focused and push the narrative, stretching things to make it fit even when it doesn't. One example included in this video was hearing a news story talking about the slogan "From the river to the sea" and they start going down this rabbit hole about how the mine cart flipped over and trapped the kids who drowned in the river. If you watch all their videos it is usually Juicy who leads the conversation in these situations (e.g. at The Conjuring House he is the one who decided they were talking to a Native American named Lucky who died and whose grave the property was built on and also the one who heard the word "Flew" and turned it into a story about an entire family dying in the flu epidemic).
Hello I'm new to your channel and like how you debunk fake paranormal from the real ones it's always good to have someone look at it from a different perspective so I'll be watching who you do in your next video 👍💯❤️🙏
Ok I love these guys. I used to watch a lot of their VR silly content, like prop hunt. After a long time of watching I started feeling like even all of that content was partially scripted. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that they started doing this and without a shadow of a doubt in my mind none of their paranormal videos will be real. As you stated though, they are ABSOLUTELY entertaining and I have tried going back to watch but I can't shake the scripted feeling.
I'm only 4 minutes in... well I'm going to say great video as always Mythos!!! hehe 💖
Mythossssss.. another great video! I don't think you were harsh at all, just honest. Like you said yourself there were some great moments in this video that could have very much been paranormal. It's just hard to believe someone when they are always joking around.
First time watching one of your videos. Beardo mentions you a couple times and I saw this video on my suggested list so I wanted to have a watch. It was a very good video. Ah The Boys, so I do watch their Boys channel and Narrators and Special Edds separate channels, Special Edds scariest ? ones are a fun watch. I've only seen their clown motel and haunted church "investigation". Being that they are known for immature humor and pranks I felt I wouldn't get a real investigation watching them. I do want to point out 2 things I picked up on. The first was in the Japanese hospital and Juicy(Juicey? not sure of how he spells it), the one with the glasses, ran back down the hall around your 32:29 mark and then we see the shadow figure in the room as they walk by. His demeanor and walking with a huge cat eating a canary grin yelled set up to me. The other thing I wanted to point out, I know 3 out of the 5 have an editor who edits their videos. The guy who is shown briefly at 43:43 is or was Mully's editor or cohort, Special Edd's is a guy named Ollie/Olly, and Narrator has one I don't remember the name of. I believe Special Edd may have on one video say he was gonna meet Ollie in person for the first time in Japan (it's possible I misheard this or remebering it wrong but I don't remember which video it was on) so the 2 guys from the Conjuring House could be their editors who could also be the "locals" from the hospital. They also have other CZcamsrs they do videos with and sometimes have a meetup, and there's their inverse, The Girls, so no reason to be suspicious of fakery at all lmao. The lighthouse clips you edited down and shown with really good and did pull me in. Overall though it was a good video and hope to watch some more and sorry for the long comment
Mythos always on point. Thank you
👻
Thanks for watching!
Honestly, if during the video whoever was faking the activity came out and was like "Haha pranked you! Surprise!" I would be completely fine with that. I think it'd make an entertaining video mixed with some actual ghost hunting. It'd also make any actual activity they catch a lot creepier.
Everybody has their favorite channels. Everybody wants to believe. The one simplest thing to keep in mind. The existence of ghosts ,spirits, life after death, the paranormal is not a proven commodity. No matter what you believe, experienced, the proven existence has never been established. Humanity has been asking this very question for centuries. And some of the most brilliant minds have, and at this moment are studing, investigating, and learning about whether we go on or not. So if even some of the
" evidence" they show in their videos was real it would be world changing. Life altering. It's extremely doubtful that if someone does capture real, evidence. Great evidence that you'll find it on CZcams... ..for free.
The Boys definitely take it as a joke, they have taken less of a joke to it over time, but I wouldn't bother believing what they put out there paranormal-wise. They also collaborate with Sam and Colby, who we know backed up Cody and Satori (spelling might be wrong, sorry). I love the Boys but I don't have any reason to believe what they put out there is real unfortunately as they didn't debunk Cody and Satori like actual debunkers and paranormal investigators. 100% love their videos for entertainment though and love the Boys as people, just not education. I unfortunately also believe they're staging it for views. They have in past videos for suspense, like the Clown Motel video. The clown that the boys were being chased by in the graveyard was actually Eddie. Just a blatant, clear example of staging there, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to secretly do it. Honestly, I never thought twice about this before this video. The Boys are very likeable and trustable in my opinion, which is why I haven't actively tried to debunk their videos (besides the Conjuring House one -because that one had clear fallacies like the lights flickering). I do not take everything I hear as fact though, and neither should you (random commenter who may be reading this).
Loved this video, as usual. I was a big sam and Colby fan. Now im a Mythos fan.
I don't think I've ever heard of The Boys, but, I stick to the ones I know most of the time, anyway. Great video, and a long one, for you, too! :) I enjoy, and usually agree with, your take on things.
They were all gamers who shifted content from playing video games to doing reaction videos because it made more money and now occasionally do paranormal videos because it is popular.
Mr Mythos great catch. the #1 Reason I suspect they are faking stuff & Agree with You is because one of the members "yournarrator" is on a few Twin Paranormal videos (see Beardo's latest Paranormal Sins). 😮🤔👍😁
Some good analizing Mythos. Things that make you go hmmmm.
I love the boys and i love you too, i hope at least on their personal channels they have a look at this video.
I have to say, i actually watched it all despite dreading this 😂
And i have to say you handled it respectfully (& not making me want to punch you 😅)
The conjuring house - those 2 are 2 of their cameramen - Dose & Kevin.
The clown motel - yeah it was Eddie, but the 2nd part is actually really funny & you should watch!
Was the hotel pretty fake? Yeah 😂
But i still really enjoyed watching it for entertainment.
The estes - actually in their latest 1 at the asylum, there was more that didnt sound like what they said for me.
And it did seem like a step back in authenticity for me - still enjoyable though.
Lol well said 🙂
The new one where they went back to the asylum and brought Sam & Colby along with them was in some ways better and in other ways worse. It was better in that they didn't have the REM Pod and EMF readers going off constantly like they do in some of these other videos, suggesting that whoever was faking it in their other videos was not doing it this time. However, they also focused their investigation on a literal toy which is meant to react at pre-programmed intervals to simulate ghost activity rather than actually detecting any kind of phenomena.
The hotel might not have been them faking, they were kind of trespassing where they weren't supposed to be and mentioned how the locals did not like outsiders. So it could have been other people messing with them or the figures at the end could have been the police investigating why there were lights inside a condemned building. They had a few videos like that, such as the island when the ship's captain was messing with them, but they were in an abandoned resort which was off limits for health and safety reasons so like the hotel some of the off-camera sounds could just be the building falling apart, especially with so many people walking around where they aren't supposed to be. There was another one like that that Mythos didn't include any clips of, I think it was an abandoned mental hospital in Texas, but they talked about it being a hangout for drug addicts and homeless people so Eddie carried a gun just in case anybody tried attacking them.
The Estes Method, or spirit boxes in general, I always try to put in headphones and close my eyes when they do those parts so I can hear what is actually coming through the radio without being influenced by the subtitles on the screen telling me what they want to hear. And in doing so I noticed quite often they skip over words until they hear one they want to say, or they say something that isn't at all what the radio said, or the people listening mishear what was said and just kind of roll with it because it fits the narrative better.
@@topknotg5530 interesting points. Yep 👍🏻
in my mind if you cant beat em .. you join em ,, still love the boys good work mythos
I actually live about 30 minutes away from the St Augustine Lighthouse. When I saw the original video pop up, I was really excited. Well... by the end, I was extremely pissed. To me, it just seemed like they were mocking what is there and they kept getting the names wrong of the ghosts there. Now I like Your Narrator, he always seems like a genuine ghost hunter, but the rest can kick rocks.
I'm a big fan of the boys, not just the horror, tho. Honestly,I feel like some vids are fake, however, like they've said, they have started becoming more serious. They've said they started ghost hunts just messing around, for some content, and that. But now Eddie (I think) said they all want content AND genuine ghost hunts. I feel like Eddie is genuine.. Come at me all you want,BUT I get a strong feeling he wants to be genuine. Some of their stuff I believe, some I do not. I agree with you in some cases, but some points I disagree with..I love you,and The boys so I'm not taking sides.
( I apologise if this has wrong grammar or spelling errors, also. )
On another note,I'd suggest reacting to Daz Games! He's done some ghost hunts that I love. I'd say, either 'The ram in' or the sam And colby colab ! :))
Hey you have great English! Oh yes I remember that Daz on Sam and Colbys video ages ago. I'll have a look 🤘
The only paranormal investigation channel I trust is overnight with Elton & Corey. Strongly recommended
I don't normally watch paranormal content because my exposure to it was over the top fakery like Ghost Hunters and unfortunately now having been exposed to things like Sam & Colby or Twin Paranormal... but I would recommend PSI Paranormal Investigators because he is a lot like Mythos/Beardo in that he is a believer but makes videos debunking fakes that give his community a bad name. I ran across that channel because he did a few excellent videos explaining why not to use some of the popular tech like REM Pods, explaining how they work and how easy they are to fake.
Great video again Mythos , more paranormal youtube clowns
Good video. Love your take on things. I would recommend there newest video. Apparently they got a tall skinny mist figure on camera. I can see it on camera but there’s an explanation for everything. Love your thought process on things and how you explain them. So would love to see your thoughts on just that part of the video. It’s with Sam and Colby of course. Not a serious video at all. But apparently it’s the best evidence someone has ever caught and just like you said when your jaw drops it’s most likely not real lol
Thanks so much mate! Yeahhh I seen a lot of talk about it while editing this one and I already don't trust it without even seeing it lol shall I do a full video? If it's real it's real though, not going to go in saying it's BS if it's not
@@MythosParanormal Well to be fair, the guide from the place actually saw the footage of something they captured, and commented on the j carts video, saying it was real. So that's definitely very interesting 🤔.
@@MythosParanormal Ya id definitely do a reaction, ya the fact that a guide actually commented on stuff they caught, is interesting indeed

@@MythosParanormalI have no idea if it is or not just would love to hear your thoughts on it and not really call it out as a debunk rather just hear Your opinion in on some parts. They do the stanky leg in the video so it’s a hard watch lol all the joking around they do it’s hard to believe it. Just watch it first and see what you think and if you think you can get a video out of it go for it. But if not totally cool 😎 it gave me goosebumps seeing that thing
Yeah it’s just entertainment. I don’t think they deny that or post these haunted videos as if they are legit
Hiding extras is faking content ✌️
yeahh eddie was very honest about it a few times, but said they’re wanting to be more serious since watching other people’s
That is part of the problem, after they got blacklisted for messing around in the haunted prison in Australia they said they were going to start taking things seriously. So all their more recent content (Asylum in Australia, Resort in Australia, Hotel in Japan, Hospital in Texas, Conjuring House, Lighthouse in Florida, revisit to Asylum in Australia with Sam & Colby and... I missed one... Haunted Mansion) are meant to be legit. Eddie (and Josh) both stated how they want to stop messing around and be more serious about the investigations, especially in the Conjuring House and the Lighthouse videos. So they are trying to be legit, but since they learned from watching channels who fake their content they use the same tools and methods that have been debunked by serious investigators.
"Is there someone here with us?"
**TSSHHK** "Bing bong! Thirteen minutes passed the hour here on Paranormal radio. You're live with Danny and the Phantom! Caller, what's your first question?" 👻
I was hoping you'd debunk the lighthouse bit at 20:54 (from "you're in my house now" to them screaming), because I absolutely dont believe in paranormal stuff but that bit was too good to be staged, and i find it quite hard to think of it just as "coincidence".
I swear this is my last comment.
Interestingly the 1 part you didnt mention was when they thought they caught the "shadow" behind Eddie.
What did you think?
To me the whistling at the hotel & the lighthouse sounded differently, but that part about a secret place used by GA really has me thinking 🤔
For someone who dreaded anyone covering them, & who wasnt going to watch this! I think you did a good job 👍
And obviously ill still keep watching them as i find them stupidly funny 😂
I have a question about one sentence of your post: Why "dread someone covering them"? Not trying to start a debate or anything I'm just curious as to why anyone who thinks a paranormal channel is legit would be worried about a debunker looking at the channel. An honest debunker will be the first to admit if there's nothing to call out.
If a person watches and doesn't care if it's real or not why would they care whether a debunker looks at the channel or not? If it's just entertainment why even bother watching a debunker calling it out? I don't go out of my way to watch channels that I'm not the target audience for. Someone who watches paranormal YT videos just for entertainment isn't a debunker's target audience.
@@Furytear I think it was incase they found something that was 100% faked & I'd be really disappointed.
And also if they said lots bad about them as I really like them 😂
This was the 1st "ghost" one they've done that I actually properly believed, & probably because it was the 1st they really took seriously.
Any of the others before this were definitely more in the "entertainment" bracket (the Conjuring house 1 I think is the 1 that made them believe more) so I just enjoyed watching those & did believe some parts of them.
It was same as the Fourman Bros - I did think recently they'd fallen into the "exaggeration gets more views" trap that almost everyone has, but I mostly believed them & did believe they helped people.
So I was quite gutted when they popped up for debunkers.
If I like ppl I get a bit protective too I suppose (probably sounds nuts, but hey 🤷♀️).
I still watch debunker videos of those I watch for entertainment.
Although I'm not the target audience of those channels either. I'm probably about 30 years older than their demographic. But if I enjoy them then why not.
And yes I watch legit channels too.
The debunking videos can be entertaining too & I like to see if I picked up the same things.
@Craftynick1 Fair enough. For me I'd rather it be shown definitively that a channel I believe to be legit is faking than being sold false hope believing them when they are faking.
I am a skeptic who isn't necessarily a non-believer I just want to see definitive proof before I accept it as real. This makes me part of the target audience for debunking channels as most of them express the same opinion, some are believers and some are skeptics but like myself they're looking for that one piece of evidence that they can look at and say "this validates my belief in the paranormal". I am not aware of any debunking channel that seeks to disprove the paranormal, they seek to call out fakers and grifters who's target audience are believers that trust that the investigator/investigators are investigating in good faith and not taking advantage of their beliefs to make money.
Honest investigators should welcome a critique of their videos and if a debunker gets something wrong explain to their audience and the debunker how they got it wrong.
There's a smaller channel that recently gained a lot of respect because when a couple of debunkers critiqued one of his investigations instead of going toxic he invited them on an investigation with him(and they accepted). This to me is someone who is honest and has nothing to hide so I subbed to his channel. So in that case him being featured on a debunk video and the way that he handled it got him more subscribers, it's a case where the debunking community benefitted him by shining a spotlight on one of his videos.
I literally only am aware of one "debunker" who trash talks the channels that he calls fake unprovoked, and I only know about him because a couple of the larger debunking channels made videos saying that what he does us not representative of the community as a whole.
Have I been disappointed when a channel I liked got caught faking? Absolutely but I've also found channels that don't fake their content to watch instead. Watching people getting freaked out in a dark spooky building and pretending there are ghosts and demons when there aren't doesn't entertain me, watching people legitimately looking for answers as to whether ghosts exist or not is why I watch.
Nothing against anyone who finds over the top reactions and people running around freaking our for entertainment, but those who watch for that if you don't believe it to be real there's no reason to grab your torch and pitchfork to defend them when they get debunked.
@@Furytear yeah I pretty much agree with all of that.
I am a believer, I've had several of my own experiences (my 1st when I was 14), if I hadn't I'm not sure I would be a believer (or not as much maybe?)
I don't think there is any channel that I've completely & absolutely believed are real, be debunked 100%
Most I had suspicions of "exaggerating" at the least.
But then I don't know if I could hand on heart swear that any channel is 100% legit 😕
99%? Yes, but I think there's always something were I go hmm.
I know the ones you mean about going from being debunked to meeting the debunkers 😊
I actually love how that was dealt with & how it ended up!
And yeah I think I know the debunker you mean too 🤦♀️
I think Mythos handled this respectively.
There was a couple of things, like someone behind the door pulling it that I had never noticed!
Most points I agreed with.
Some I didn't.
That's why I prefer the debunks where there is 100% absolute proof of something being faked in it, it leaves no room for questioning it in my mind 😂
Let’s go a longer video! 😂
What tf was that thing in that room? Sorry I don't have the time stamp. Idk, I usually run towards the noise just to see if I catch something/someone. (I know, I'm not right lol) The St Augustine Lighthouse is creepy, but I've never had much happen except wind off the sea. Liked the longer vid! Thanks Mythos!
Thanks for watching 😁🙏
Mytho ,I have to admit that the person in that closet looked like the side eye guy mask lmao
Just so you know the vid he showed was the island vid and there first video on the paranormal and as they mess around a lot in vids they did that in this vid so they didn’t really believe in the paranormal so they faked a lot of it as jokes but if you watch a recent vid they take it really seriously
Fake stuff once that's you done. Lost all trust
The haunted island was after they had started to take things seriously (the Clown Motel was just a meme because they used it as a map in VR and didn't know it was based on a real place), but it was just Josh and Mully going in with Toasted and I think Dose, so they didn't have Eddie there to keep them in line. But most of what was faked in that video was caused by the boat captain who took them to the island rather than it being stuff they were setting up themselves. They joked about it in the video and even occasionally in later videos when they heard an unexplained noise Josh would say "Captain Ron...?" or whatever his name was referencing the video where the ship's crew were messing with them all night.
Fantastic break down of events, thanks Mythos!
I am so happy that somebody finally did a video on these guys because in the debunking group I was talking about these guys about couple weeks ago about the Sam and Colby video that they made and you're hitting it right on the money I believe that they made pre saved words somehow and they're using some type of box to put those words in and for those words to pop up when they want them to pop up in that moment so it looks like they get it in the moment but when it is actually already pre-made to look like it's in the moment but it's not
I have been watching The Boys since back when they did video game content on their own channels and before they even had their combined group channels. I get the feeling that much of what they learned about "ghost hunting" comes from when they used to play Phasmophobia together, or perhaps The Exorcist: Legion as that series is what got Eddie the nickname "The Mexorcist." A lot of what they do now is based on CZcams being their full time jobs so the thumbnails and such are geared to the algorithm and what gets them the most views. But you might enjoy some of what they do, like Eddie on his own channels plays a lot of horror games and reacts to scary TikToks (and often debunks them, proving he knows the content is usually fake) and Juicy also does some of the horror games but also recently started doing videos about creepy stories and strange, disturbing videos.
Their earliest paranormal videos were made purely for comedy and were not meant to be serious. The reason they went to the Clown Motel is because it was a popular map in one of the VR games they used to play together, so they had a bit where they reenacted one of their popular skits in real life (the "Do you want the roach room or the murder room?" part). So they purposely hammed it up in that one and did things like Eddie dressing up as a clown to come back and scare them or Kevin setting up spooky stuff behind the scenes (they admitted to staging it several months later). Then they did one in a haunted prison in Australia where they goofed around and made dirty jokes and after that one they got banned from filming there and blacklisted from any other haunted locations in the same Australian state. After that they started to try being a bit more serious, although obviously they still do it for entertainment.
Having watched all of them one thing that jumps out to me is that every time I see them do this kind of content I get the impression that Juicy has been trained in cold reading. He is usually the main one who steers the conversation and helps interpret the vague responses they get to make it seem more meaningful, and he always seems to be the one who takes the tour and researches the history of the location so he can explain what ghosts are said to be there and the details of their deaths. So he always seems to chime in and push the narrative that connects what they are doing to whatever story they were told about the location. You notice it most when they do Spirit Box stuff, when he is not the one listening but rather one of the guys asking questions, he takes vague bits of nothing like the person listening to the radio says "Flew" and he comes up with "Your whole family died from the flu?"
That is another thing that tells me how fake their content is, because of watching their spirit box sessions, especially when they let you hear the audio (frustratingly their newest video with Sam & Colby the full Estes Method audio is a Members Only video). The entire concept of spirit boxes has been scientifically explained as auditory pareidolia since you are just hearing words playing on local radio stations and interpreting it as having meaning. There is also a known effect that when you put subtitles on the screen it influences the brain to hear the words that are being read, even if it is not what the audio is actually saying, so I close my eyes and just listen when they do these parts and I noticed how often they mess that up. There are times when they say words that don't at all much up with the audio, or times in which the guys listening will mishear what was said and go off on a tangent and swear it was so meaningful when it wasn't even what was actually said.
Of course they also seem to really like their gadgets and either don't know how useless they are or do know and are just milking a gullible audience for views. When they started using REM Pods they went on and on about how it is impossible to fake, but 5 minutes on Google tells you how easy they are to fake and countless paranormal researchers urging you not to use them. The same goes for EMF readers which can go off from moving your hand or being near so many electronic devices. The most damning is their collab with Sam & Colby though as you can see the label of the device they use to have conversations with ghosts and it is a toy that is preprogrammed to go off at select intervals depending on which mode you have it set on. I don't know if they know it is fake or if they really believe these devices work, but I suspect at least the crew know how to manipulate results to get more entertaining content.
That is part of the problem is that I have a really difficult time telling who is in on it and who actually believes. Some of the stuff can easily be explained by the fact that they aren't the only ones there, they did several videos in run down places that were known to be used as shelter by the homeless and drug addicts, so it is possible that they hear noises that are actually happening because of some stranger in the building. Or in the haunted island the boat captain was having fun messing with them, so that explains some of what they experienced there. Even the staff of the places they visit could be staging it because they are tourist attractions and flashy content drums up more business than boring investigations where nothing happens. So are they all fake? Some fake and some believe? The crew faking things to record their honest reactions? The local staff faking it and them buying it? Probably some combination of all of the above.
That is another thing that I noticed in a lot of their videos, which you pointed out in the Japanese hotel, is that it is hard to keep track of who all is there. Obviously the five Boys are easy because they are usually on screen, but the crew includes Josh's sister Lana on camera and we know Kevin and Dose were on the trip to Japan and so were all of their girlfriends/wives, so any of them could have been around messing with them. Although we also know they were trespassing, so the figures they ran away from in the hotel may have actually been police rather than being their friends setting things up. But since I watched these all in order as they came out, I have been skeptical ever since the Clown Motel and as such any time I don't know where Kevin is I can't help but wonder if he is behind the scenes pranking them the way he did back then. But their editors are very good, anything left in was left in on purpose, it was not an accident.
If its fake oh well, its interesting and gets your brain working, not to mention, they are hilarious. I mainly watch the content to put a smile on my face cause of how funny they are. Personally Mully and Juicy are my favorites, mully messes around and tries to scare the others, juicy is the dark humor I feel those paranormal videos are missing.
I'm a Juicy fan here too 😂
And Mully is just twisted, & I love it!
The Clown Motel for me is possibly my favourite (including the 2nd part where they learn it was Eddie) 😅
I enjoy them that much that I'm a member!
The thing is though, the lighthouse was where they said they were believers & taking it seriously - & that's why it was so good - so to think anything may have been "not as it seemed" in it is a bit disappointing 😕
More videos please … we support you brother 👍
It's so hard to find real investigators, they just want views and money. I love the long videos. Thanks Mythos, you're awesome 👌
Real paranormal researchers publish in scientific journals rather than posting CZcams videos... and the amateur investigators who take it seriously tend to have small sub counts and limited views because real ghost hunting tends to be boring and inconclusive. Viewers want it to be flashy and exciting, so they sub to the big channels that are faking content.
Much appreciated 🙏🙏
Great video Mythos. I’ve been watching the Boys since before they were officially a cohesive channel. I’m a fan but have always been leery of the paranormal content. They have a regular production crew of 3 people. Kevin, Dose, and the girl is Josh Dubs sister. So its never 5 plus a camera person. It’s always at least 8 people. And something you didn’t mention but I think is important. They ended that Blair Witch style camera drop saying if you want to see more you had to subscribe to the channel. Which kind of screams it’s a produced shoot and not an actual investigation
They do that in every video, not just the paranormal investigations. You can subscribe to see Member's Only content which includes seeing them throw up from eating at 1-star rated restaurants or funny but not advertiser friendly jokes that they can't put into monetized videos. Every video they make has an extended cut for Members which includes stuff they cut out (usually because it would get the video flagged and demonetized) and sometimes extra Bonus Content videos (e.g. their new collab with Sam & Colby has the full Estes Method as a Members Only Bonus Video). But yes, it is very much a produced shoot, they have a producer and work for a professional production company Click Media Group which helps arrange their trips and content.
Elton Castee does the Estes Method where he includes the audio as well as subtitles saying what he thinks it says. Whilst we watch the recording.
I do appreciate this like you as i like to see if I agree with the interpretation and its being transparent.
I have had great experiences here at the lighthouse amazing place
Yeah looks very cool 😁👍
Their "paranormal content," which was the earlier stuff, was totally just them goofing around, and they admit that lots of times. It's the kind of content that's gotten them where they are, just with a paranormal twist. It was never meant to be serious. I don't think the investigations should be lumped into that for the same reason you wouldn't put their goofy cooking videos in the same category as real cooking videos. That said, I do see them submitting to a lot of cognitive biases like the ones you've pointed out, and I still think a lot of "paranormal" equipment is far too dodgy to be reliable for anything, but that's different than faking content. A lot of us who like to watch paranormal content do so because it sort of walks along the edge of reality - that slim possibility that things of this nature are real is what makes it entertaining and it's what the genre is about - a sort of ongoing ARG based on uncertainty. Sometimes paranormal investigations (in general) are part of that, sometimes they're not and are genuinely trying to find out if there's any truth to the paranormal.
I am big fan of your channel. boys channel always been goofy. When they take seriously like the light house video they get good evidence. That makes me believe them more. My favorite people of that group are Eddie and Narrator.

All the groups I've known in real life (and online ones)have spent years in dank basements and cold church-yards. They've painstakingly analysed their evidence and they grind away for years.
So when I see these youtube groups getting amazing footage EVERY week? I find it hard to get my head around it, you know?
So when I see footage that people are struggling to explain or debunk, I'm still sceptical.
Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence..
Loved the video Mythos.
The Boys are gamers, they have spent years in dank basements too... But yes, I agree, the popular CZcams channels and cable television programs are staged to make things more exciting because viewers aren't going to stay around watching if it is boring and nothing happens. And the intellectually honest paranormal investigators, even when they do get an actual result, are still skeptical and suggest possible natural explanations rather than jumping on board immediately assuming it is definitive proof of ghosts.
