I think the Cody knocking without Satori video proves that he is a liar. These people have been raised their entire lives by professionals to lie about and profit from "ghosts"
They're actually not doing Cody & Satori any favours here at all, the more people claim it's real the more scrutiny Cody & Satori will be under and the more of their fake shit will get called out.
Here's a polite message to Sam & Colby and all the others who are still choosing to live in denial. IT'S OVER GUYS, get over it. Ive heard that they arent allowed to say anything negative about The Conjuring or the staff or they will be sued by the owner apparently, and they agreed to that when signing all the paperwork to film there. No clue if its true though.

They did everything right including having Dakota go out of the room to see if he could hear the sounds supposedly coming from other parts of the house. Spoiler alert, the sounds could not be heard.

Satori and Cody only want to answer questions that can either be researched or are just nonsensical things such as "come to the woods alone" etc.hence the skepticism. If I had a channel and could ask them a question I'd ask what color socks am I wearing or what brand toothpaste do I use.

Since the conjuring bs, i find it hard to be on Sam and Colby’s defense, as someone who has been a fan for a long time. I genuinely believe, they made all this money and they’re thriving and riding a high right now the last thing they want to do is come out and fully commit to it all being fake. but who knows perhaps there’s a hidden NDA that we don’t know. but if I were them, I wouldn’t even talk about them if that were the case. To be fair to them, in one of their post Conjuring videos (I think it was on their react channel or one of their friend's videos) they did admit they overestimated the impact it would have. I agree that still defending Cody and Satori is unwise, but on that particular issue it seems like they were swept up in excitement about it.

Genuinely think it's just part of the industry, for lack of a better word. All of the ghost shows require faking and lying, wouldn't be surprised if as early as season 1 of ghost hunters they realized this.
Faking content is just part of the gig. Lying about it and claiming it's all real, is just part of the gig. You can't just have videos of you sitting in empty rooms with nothing about occasional sounds happening and build a career off of it. All of these people have built careers out of walking around empty buildings.
I was watching old GH last night, and Jay was whispering words to a ghost in one room... Then grant would say that in another room a ghost was whispering words in his ear and they "turned out" to be the same words Jay was saying... Give me a break.
Lying and faking content for the sake of making entertaining shows for a living is the gig. They are all in on it, doing the same thing. It would make no sense to point the finger at another person in this field and say they arent genuine because they all know it's just part of the gig and they do the same thing one way or the other.

@Cathy_Lee All ghost shows are faked. They use tech they barely know how it works, or they do, and they're faking on purpose. I think they were sincere when taps started, but then they got big, got money, and now every place is haunted. Disappointing, but I just watch for entertainment like any other scripted show I watch.

The ending about how it makes Jason Hawes look bad, is exactly what I've been thinking. I LOVED Ghost Hunters when I was young. The fact that they often times went out of their way to debunk stuff was what really set them apart in my mind. I get that Satori is his daughter, and there's a 0% chance he's going to throw her under the bus. That just isn't going to happen, and I completely understand that. But it tarnishes his own reputation. For one, the if Ghost Hunters was indeed legit you would think Satori would have an issue with Cody faking it, as she would have been raised in a household that believes in the paranormal and does real investigations into it. The fact that she's so okay with it, kind of implies she's used to it. Secondly by backing her so hard, it really puts a question on how much Jason ever actually cared about debunking obviously fake claims. It's really unfortunate.

NGL, that's just common sense if you're trying to get your ghost show taken seriously. Debunk some of the easily debunked stuff and it makes the false positives or faked evidence you get look more convincing.

I think it's one of two things. 1) Sam and Colby are backing them up because they're in on the scam, trying to make the world believe in this, or 2) They're locked in some form of contract or NDA which won't allow them to debunk it without legal risks. I hope it's the second, because I would hate for Sam and Colby to also be scammers and bad people after the recent Wilbur Soot drama. Although maybe they're just blind believers.

I want to believe that Sam and Colby are scared and are only covering for them because maybe they know that if you go against these two it could potentially ruin them as an investigators. I'm trying really hard to believe that they're simply talking out their ass because they're afraid of what will happen to them if they say the truth... I don't know.. So what you’re telling me is the biggest news in history of mankind, spirits who want to communicate with the living, only have one condition “no shoes, no shirt, no service”
I think Sam, in multiple videos, has shown that he wants to believe so much, that he convinces himself of everything. And the Cody and Satori situation, like he said, happened for a full week, and impacted him emotionally so much, that he now he's now convinced that it's real. I genuinely believe he believes in it blindly.
Like he said himself in these clips, he wants to be proven 100% for sure that they are fake. While most other people who are sceptics will usually want/need to be proven that things are real. And I think him saying that way shows a lot about how he sees paranormal things.
Another example of that in their videos is often found with the spirit box segments they always do. He always instantly goes "why would someone say murder on the radio?" (while there are a billion true crime shows everywhere, so the likelihood isn't as low as he thinks) and stuff like that. Sam wants to believe so much, that he convinces himself of the things happening.
I could be wrong and he's just lying about it. But I do think that this is how he sees it.
That kinda comes down to how I see most paranormal things personally. Because we're not sure of anything, everyone can either convince themselves that something is fake or that it is real. And Sam seems to show a tendency to be the latter.

Great Video Mythos. Until just recently, I figured myself as a believer. But with all these paranormal channels being outed as fake, it’s caused me to truly wonder if paranormal activity truly exists. I guess I’ll never know until I witness something myself which has yet to happen.
There's so much with C and S. I suppose I get Jason not just saying his daughter is a liar flat out, but what he says does fly in the face of asking the debunkers to go to town. He's dealt with fakers on investigations before, and people who "didn't seem like they would fake things." And Cody and Satori, when they started their Patreon museum, pretty exactly copied what Greg and Dana Newkirk had been doing with their Patreon and museum. They just copied the particulars and had themselves billed as "the paranormal couple" which is such weak sauce. C and S are fakers and "I don't think absolute proof should happen because society would collapse" is so fricken bonkers!

Re-posting this because I really think you would be interested Mythos. Check out Ghost Hunters season 16 ep.1. C and S use their "gift" to locate something buried in the ground while Jason and his crew are outside in the van. Once they come inside C and S tell them where it is and sure enough its an old pen. So are they planting these things on Jason's show (which would be outrageous knowing that her fathers reputation would be questioned if caught) or is Jason in on it (which i just don't buy that)? Whats also interesting is that they use Carl from TWD as a 3rd person in their holding arms routine.

Idk, its possible that Sam and Colby are in some sort of contract with them, (i cant remember who but someone did point out that on the conjuring website, if you're there to film, they get last say on the edit. So i wouldnt put it past the new owner, who seems like shes trying to turn the conjuring house into a paranormal theme park, to have other clauses in the contracts they inevitably signed about what they say in regards to cody and satori as well.. I've also heard this wouldn't be the first time those two have threatened litigation against people. They seem genuinely like a couple bullies who will push you around in any way they can, with smiles on their faces.)
On the other hand though, I'm a jaded woman in her 30s who has spent more than half of my life studying behavioral science and Neuro linguistic programming and I cant help but see red flags all over them as well, even since the conjuring series itself. Dont get me wrong here, I think theyre both entertaining and charismatic fellas, but the body doesn't lie, no matter how much you want it to and a LOT of their non-verbal communication just doesn't align. A great example is that podcast interview. If you pay close attention to their body language, theres quite a few physiological 'tells' of deception coming from the both of them. And even quite a bit of shame showing up in Sams body language, especially when asked about the missing footage of them with their shoes off. Sam seems to carry quite a bit of guilt and shame around the subject, as this is something I've been seeing come up in him since the series itself.
But lets also not forget that Sam and Colby got their break in the 'entertainment world' for faking. If you've been on CZcams since their start, you will remember the 'best friend prank' with sam pepper. (If you havent seen this, look it up) The 3 of them later even admitting it was fake. Thats when I realized Sam's ability to cry on cue. (Just like he did when they brought up his grandmas name.) Then when they were first getting into paranormal stuff (back when they lived in what they called 'the trap house' with corey and elton) Sam took to his own channel doing all these 'rituals' (obviously made up things simply to scare children. Like the midnight ritual and those nonsensical things you'd typically see someone like jaystation pulling off) and having 'paranormal things' happen to him; a great example of this is in a now deleted video, due to getting called out for the fakery, when he attempted to claim he did a ritual on a bride of chucky doll and caught it on camera walking down a hall with a knife taped to its hand. Thats just ONE example. Granted, they were young and everyone did dumb stuff when they were younger. It just seems, to me at least, they took the route of "let's just get better at faking!" bc at the end of the day, they ARE entertainers before anything else. I'd assume most of those videos from back then have now been deleted due to them wanting to appear more serious in the paranormal community now though. But if we take that into consideration, along with their non-verbal communication, (and let's not forget their immature and disrespectful behavior at the Bellaire house, behind the scenes) it changes things a bit, imo.
Personally, I feel like they knew all along that C&S are faking but due to their egos, they underestimated the intelligence of their own fans. That's why they premiered it in theaters and tried to capitalize as much as possible first. Saying things like "this will change your beliefs forever" and "please try and debunk this", etc. (It's almost as if they've learned a thing or two about the power of suggestion, themselves 🤔) They probably figured a handful would catch on but I highly doubt they expected the amount of blowback they're actually getting.
At this point, they're either being threatened with litigation, making poor & desperate attempts to save their brand/reputation or perhaps THEY drew up a contract with Cody & Satori from the very start and what we're seeing now is the repercussions of that. (Think about it..they're entertainers, wanting to stand out in their field and they hear about this couple with a very unique party trick so of course they're gonna wanna jump on that before anyone else can and maybe thought that locking them into a contract would be the best way to achieve that. After all, all their paranorma-pals have been able to come up with to push the envelope of engagement is to clickbait demons in their vids at that point.)
Clearly they've been 'coming clean' to their friends behind the scenes about at least 'being scammed' by C&S given what Kris had to say about it all. Only they genuinely know whether that's true or not, but the shame and guilt we're seeing in Sam's behavior speaks volumes. I personally still believe they were in on it from the start, (although, I DON'T believe they realized how ACTUALLY awful Cody & Satori are as people, at the time. Which could also explain a lot of that shame showing up for Sam) but them going with the scammed narrative to the public would be all it'd take to save their reputation & brand...yet they're not doing that..which screams either a contract being involved or the threat of litigation.
As far as Cody & Satori.. they'll always feign ignorance and continue the grift. Even if it means ruining both their and Jason's reputations, those sweet sweet grief ridden dollars are too important to them. But behind them will always be truth seekers, snapping at their heels and holding them too account.
After all, extraordinary claims will ALWAYS require extraordinary evidence.
Tl;dr I think Sam and Colby are a couple of dudes who got rich too young, lost touch with reality and are now in over their heads because of their own decisions. Cody and Satori on the other hand will forever be nothing more than a couple deplorable grifters grasping at straws to try to stay relevant.

He would've been a satire prodigy if that were the case though lol It was during/shortly after vine ended and all these people from vine were coming into/trying to navigate the yt ecosystem at the time and they both just seemed to be throwing as much variety as they could at the wall til something would stick that they could then build a brand off of. Not only that, they had an even younger demo of fans than they do now as well who were instantly buying into it like you wouldn't believe. In the videos ( which actually ended up turning into an entire series at one point) he was as serious about it as he is in the videos today.
So unless he's got some Andy Kaufman style of character he's been playing since those days, I think it simply boils down to a young dude's desperate attempts to get something to go viral (and a lot of it did). We've all done dumb stuff before when we were younger, in all fairness. Plus, like I mentioned above, their age demo has always been young but back then, even younger than it is now so the comments were filled with children genuinely thinking this CZcamsr was risking his life for their entertainment and it appeared he just kept giving them what they wanted.
Not to mention, during those times of yt, there wasn't a large market of these "paranormal entertainment CZcamsrs" like you see a ton of today. (I'm talkin' specifically all the ones who should have 'for entertainment only' disclaimers at the beginning of every video bc they're essentially making horror movie style videos at this point, rather than documenting/learning about actual paranormal activity.)
Around that time, their joint channel was headed down the lane of trips to abandoned places and then they eventually integrated the "paranormal" stuff as well.
I'm sure if he were asked about it today he probably WOULD say he was joking but that's because he's embarrassed by something cringe he did when he was younger lol can't blame him there. But I vividly remember being baffled at the fact that so many people were buying into it like they were and at how he was promoting them as real.
I think that's why they continued the paranormal route actually. They realized how much they could get by with faking stuff and have people genuinely buy into it. Sam just had to reign it back in a bit in the beginning, which he eventually did. I don't believe the faking ever stopped with them though, they just found better methods of doing so/became better at acting. I think they just got a little too cocky thinking Cody and satori would be such a hit and "change everyone's views forever" or whatever Sam claimed. But when you're in an entertainment pool of people always trying to one up each other there's only so many things a specific genre can hold so I could see it from a business standpoint, wanting to keep the genre new and fresh.
The only difference now is that since that specific genre of entertainers has grown so much and they're all trying to pass it off as real, a debunking community was born and is now thriving. 😊

I believed their channel at first cuase I just turned my brain off and watched it, but than I decided to focus more on body language and really try and debunk what is happening and I realized most of it is really easy. I mean they usually don't do anything except play with some equipment, that can easily be changed and set up for the video. My one question is though, they've Collaborated with A LOT of people, some I'd say I trust, Do you think they all faked it to? Or are they just coming for the ride and believing the "ghost activity"?

Thank you Mythos; this was great! I am an open-minded truth seeker and paranormal enthusiast of over 30 years. I think it's sad that Sam & Cody have done a complete 180. They should be proud that their work unveiled a scam. Seems like they care more about appeasing some of the more popular members of the paranormal community than the revealing the truth. I'd love for Cody and Satori's "gift" to be real, but I'm convinced they're simply toying with people's emotions for capital gain and fame, plus clout within the paranormal community. It's disrespectful to every person they've read (and the deceased people for whom they allege to speak). If Cody & Satori were the real deal, you'd think they're be eager to prove their gifts. Satori claims she's afraid of showing her feet on camera because they'll be objectified by those with foot fetishes 😂 I'm sorry but that's hilarious. What about all of the people with hand, neck, lip, etc fetishes? 😮 I don't know what's funnier: that, or her concern for what would happen to humanity if they proved their alleged gifts. What about Callmekris litterly saying it was faked? And all the evidence? So theres a few things that might be going on
1: Sam and Colby are fake (obvious ik)
2: They really want to believe that it was real cuase family members and such came through and said they were watching over them. Which i know if that happened to me i would really want to believe.
3: They signed a contract at the beginning of the series (idk whats in the contract they didn't show it but theres a possibility that it said they can't say its fake or sue them etc) especially cuase of that "Guilt" it looks like Sam is carrying might be becuase he HAS to lie about it but his heart wants to say something else.
4: manipulation. Its no secret Cody and Satori are good manipulators, They convinced THOUSANDS of people and maybe they did the same with Sam and Colby.
5: They are trying to believe it becuase they are embarrassed that they fell for it.
After all Sam and Colby's purpose on CZcams has always and will continue to be entertainers, thats just what there good at, to young charismatic men. They even said in a podcast they would do ANYTHING for Fame when they were younger, maybe that hasn't changed? People look up to these people like there litterly Gods or something, but there just strangers on the internet. We don't know them personally. They have faked stuff in the past multiple times, and money genuinely ruins people. They have been disassociated from the real world cleary, they got famous at a REALLY young age. Also all 4 of them are a getting a High from this whole thing. Sam and Colby are making money like never before from hell week, mostly for people to try and debunk it, and same with Cody and Satori! They are getting loads of fame and views from all of this.

I just can’t get over how cruel of a human you have to be to make someone genuinely believe that their dead relative is speaking with them, watching over them, always with them, whatever choice of words Cody and Satori would go with. That is just so sick, I would be heartbroken
My read of SnC in this situation is that they feel conflicted about the situation but are still naively holding on to hope that it’s true. They are immature boys after all, and are still afraid of facing failure. It also seems like someone else in their team has advised them not to delve further into this, probably to protect their business, but they’re still planning to talk about it more. I can tell Sam is pushing for this to occur more, as he’s always been a bit more skeptical than Cody. They’re probably just being restrained by people in the company while they’re still making this much money from the Conjuring series.
Jason is huge in the paranormal world and there is a rumour he can black list you with some haunted locations so I wonder if Sam and colby's management have told them to say they believe Cody and satori because it would harm sam and colbys youtube channel going to these places?
Maybe Sam and Colby are under an NDA with the conjuring house and signed it before visiting/everything went down. And because of that, they can't truly tell the truth about it? I think one thing to remember it that they cannot just debunk them. They probably signed contracts, copyright laws, etc, etc.... they could get sued for defamation or more things, they could also just not be allowed to film in this location again and I have a feeling they would want to film again.

What Cody and Satori did were self snitch and self exposing their falsehoods. Everyone in here knows the points. I know the backlash would be LESS IF they didn't claim to speak to visitors DEAD RELATIVES. That is why people are so PISSED OFF and gunning for them so hard. I understand why people do this. Then the "we have no financial compensation about this" is also 100% factually wrong. 1400$ for a ghost tour.. them having shirts on saying STAFF ( no one works for free) and compensation does not always mean $ it can mean different things aka followers ( which online translates into $.. I know i used to run 27 different sites myself ( from news sites to financial and fashion sites .. i know how monetization works and you do not need to have many followers or visitors to make decent $.. of course its been over a decade + so there is that as well). I am at a point where i dislike most ghost hunting content except from a few. its the same malarkey with calling everything a "demon". In some aspects, if you go to the bible for instance, there are no spirits of dead people ( they go straight to the great throneroom in heaven or to sheol) and what we are "talking to" are demons.... or some form of interdimensional/parallel universe/alternate universe whatever.
At this point, the guy that was also seen as a great debunker of ghosts, jason hawes, now doubles down on the cody and satori ( I get it, he is her dad, but if i were her dad i would tell her NOT to do this crap), shows that there are some issues there too... like ghost adventures also have been caught red handed cheating and faking stuff too. OF course Jason has a great explanation "it was grant who did it" while they BOTH were co-owners of the show. Also it was more than once. though i will never forget the brian shout of " DUDE RUN".
There also have been "former cast members of TAPS/ghost hunters that were speaking out against Hawes and his crew how they faked everything. Is it possible that those former members like Donna, brian, Dustin and others are all miffed they are not with TAPS anymore? Possibly. Grant went his own way for a reason.

So, I have some first hand experience with Sam and Colby. I applied for an editor position back in November ‘23 and one of the requirements was sound design. Which is the practice of adding sounds that are not there to match surrounding environments. If it was for their over-sounds then they would have asked for audio production. I’m not trying to blackmail them but I also know exploiting your fans for money is terrible and I feel like it’s only right to tell y’all.
(I should probably clarify that I’m saying this because I’m mad at them for not hiring me. If there actually is a god, I think he was protecting me from getting hurt by these fools. I don’t think any amount of money is worth working with toxic people.)

I'm new to your channel! I have known since release time roughly that they were faking. I have so much faith in Sam and Colby (had before I realized they don't care about the truth, just saving face). I knew something was not right because this isnt how things happen. It just isn't, and you only know that when you've been through it. The first time we watched all four episodes, I was in total disbelief only. Maybe just awe. Nothing was going through my mind. After that, I thought that it was just weird and became fully skeptical. We rewatched over and over because I kept thinking maybe he had some kind of device in his shoes to amplify a toe pop and thats why it wouldnt work on the concrete. I could see the movements, but only knew it was coming from the back leg. As soon as you brought attention to his ankle, I truely saw it. I tried to comment multiple times back then, but I think Sam and Colby were deleting or blacklisting comments somehow. This video makes me believe that even more.
I've enjoyed watching your videos. Thanks for putting into words many times over how all of this made us feel. If Sam and Colby cared about where they came from and not their business, they'd realize this is not okay. They are enabling them, and me and many others have lost respect for them.
I am a lot like you to he honest. I also bought all the equipment after this and started testing all of them. I don't want to believe anyone until I KNOW now what's going on behind face value. I want to ensure the truth doesn't get clouded by hope anymore, and that's what brings me peace. I feel people who continue to allow the two to get clouded don't care about the truth, and that comes from a place of shame or fear.

It's like I said on a previous video of yours Satori could make a video demonstrating how she pops her feet(And yes I know that it's Cody popping his joints and not her bare with me my point is incoming) and Jason Hawes would not watch it and still say "I don't believe they would fake something like this" The man intentionally blinds himself to the evidence and plays the naive, trusting dad.
He's as bad as the 'paranormal investigators' who continue to claim "we can't figure out how the sounds could be coming from different locations" even though a the 10 year old son of one of the Ouija Brothers literally demonstrated how he was simulating different distances of noise and the like when he was tricking his family.
And I must ask I'd "we're not supposes to be able to prove it because it'll be bad if we do" is Sam and Colby's position why do they investigate? Aren't they supposedly trying to capture evidence of real paranormal activity?
Oh, and regarding Cody and Satori saying they might do their trick without their shoes on (after having a million excuses as to why they don't want to) there are many ways to prove or disprove them without them having to take their shoes off.
Have them do it on gravel, on leaves or in a wet area, or as someone pointed out to me during a conversation on another video just have someone touch Cody's shoes to feel for vibrations while they're 'communicating with spirits'.
