3:21 listen, I don’t know her truth, only she does. However, you can’t deny the reality of the situation when she says she’d been raped for over a thousand hours. As a small child. I do believe her. I won’t go into all the reasons why, but I do. But let’s say for the sake of argument she didn’t actually endure these things. First of all, it’s not our place to say one way or the other. Her truth is her truth. But also, even if this didn’t happen to her specifically, it must certainly still happens to innumerable children and women and men every single day. So regardless of her own truth, read between the lines and focus on the reality of the things she’s bringing to our attention. And yes, it’s so much easier for people like us to simply wave a hand in the air and call BS. But that’s cause we’re terrified of what that would mean if it wasn’t just BS… if we can’t even THINK about these things, then how can we help?? By being ignorant and denying the facts isn’t going to do anything but keep this atrocious nonsense going and going. And we need it to seize. ❤

I'm a survivor of child sexual abuse and human trafficking and my abuser was a prominent defense attorney in Memphis. This is way more common than people understand and the people doing it are protected and influential. They are faces you see every day in Hollywood and in political circles. Judges, lawyers, cops, celebrities and political leaders. I am really inspired by how this lady is being so calm and brave explaining this. I tend to get hysterical trying to talk about this stuff and I get so angry. I hope I can reach this level of serenity one day. I'm angry and terrified because I know this stuff is still going on and not being taken seriously. The perpetrators are doing it in plain sight and getting away with it. It's still happening.

I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through this, if only these disgusting people would get thrown in prison, they would get what's coming to them. Trust me, my fiance did a few years in prison and as soon as they brought in any kind of child molesters, all the men would tie them up and torture the hell out of them, they wouldn't live long at all and died miserable death.... anyone who abused kids or beat up the elderly. Even most criminals have moral guidelines not to cross

I live in Belgium and my neighbour who works for InterPol said that you wouldn’t believe the people behind this sadistic crimes. They are high members of society. They are known. But they are untouchable. They are protected and will never be published or prosecuted. It’s disgusting but I believe that they will most certainly have their comeuppance.

Exactly! Sexual abuse is not exclusive of women, I admire this woman, but I think she's wrong when she talked about only woman are suffering in this culture, sorry man are too, we are all suffering for this culture of death.
We know it doesn’t only happen to women but the perpetrators are majority men. We really need to protect children in our society
I was sold by my mother in Canada when I was 4 years old, she had illegally taken me from my father to live with her boyfriend in another province. I was trafficked all around the capital region, rented/loaned out to foreign businessmen and politicians. I was rescued by the RCMP in 2014 when someone escaped. I just found out that she died from an overdose last weekend after being released from prison in June. I don't think I will ever understand why she did it. She had to know what would happen. I struggle with it every day. I wish I had your courage.

Naming the powerful pedophiles and those - who also hold power - who protect them, is not about "seeking revenge"... Not even remotely. It is about exposing in order to END it. It's absolutely critical to name and expose all the monsters, dead or alive.
It's about making sure that they are not able to do this to another person.
Okay, you first. Start naming names if you've experienced this.
It is very easy to say "name names" if you haven't been through this massively to-your-very- core traumatizing experience.
For someone who was so tragically abused and felt worthless and completely disposable and unsafe, (I could say "unsafe" a thousand times to try to make you understand the level of insecurity and vulnerability one feels) it would take an inner strength that she didn't have or a very strong 24 hour a day protector for her to feel perhaps a tiny bit safe enough to face the wrath of possible retribution and unwanted attention from "naming names".
Try not to put the blame on the abused woman to deal with this horrific problem,. The abused children/women have enough to deal with to heal and find positive reasons to simply live.
Try to identify ways you can be more compassionate and tuned in to the vulnerable children and women around you in your community and find direct ways to help them.
It can be both,,,, The guilty need exposed and charged, but as long as it’s hidden we will never believe this.
There needs to be a list of individuals who visited Epstein's properties made public. We all saw the Prince Andrew interview, from which his guilt is evident. Interview of Bill Gates also leaves one with a sick feeling in their stomach. Yet perpetrators retain their freedom, the very thing they exchanged by having participated in perpetuating the loss of freedom those girls had to endure, the horrors they had to endure, the isolation they had to endure, the dehumanizing they had to endure, the being away from their families they had to endure. I don’t know if I could be so strong. She has endured the worse and even took on being a mother. Wow!! I cry hearing these stories. Why do those types of sick minded people exist? This world can be so horrible. May she feel some peace now and in the future. I will pray for her healing.
This women will never find healing if she doesn't find christ! Like the story of Mary Magdalene. She was too abused by many men and treated as the filth of the earth, but she was restored in christ and made new. This women in the video is a scorned woman who looks in herself to find healing and describes it as a process, in how she has developed into today. This woman is battling many demons. You see it through her eyes. All she needs to do is give herself to christ, and she will be made new. No process its that simple, let go of all that anger, hurt, betrayal from people/family members. You will never find peace/ salvation/redemption with out forgiveness. Jesus is the only one that can take this poor woman to that place. I pray that the lord keeps working on her, and one day,her eyes to be open, and know he was always there.

This is awful. I was abused by a family member who was a teen when I was 4. I vividly remember somethings… I have forgiven this abuser. I finally told my father what I went through and carried in secret my whole life. I’m 35. And my dad made it about him and how dare I keep it from him, what about his feelings and now, my father hasn’t spoken to

The enemy, the devil attacks us through anyone he can. It is hard enough to share but we have to be careful who we share with. Pray for your Dad and let him know you don't blame him and that you forgive him. We are living in a time where families are being viciously torn apart and destroyed. Cling to Jesus and forgive so that you can be free.
I can feel your father's guilt has overtaken him because he did suspect this was happening but was too afraid to challenge it so it's easier for him to stay away in denial
I have watched her being interviewed several times now. I can never do it longer than a couple of minutes. Everything she talks about that happened to her and other children makes me sick. People who do these kinds of things do not deserve to be called humans. They are even lower than any type of virus or bacteria. I haven't watched this video in its entirety either. It is too painful for me.

Then there is her other message, why the trauma affects all off society and the path to emotional freedom, personal freedom as well as the level of the whole society.
Personally I think that the TED Talk she gave is the easiest to digest of all her appearances online (though it’s still stomach-turning). It is also relatively short and she still gets her full message across.

She and I are about the same age. I had a mother who kept a constant eye on me and warned me to never go into certain neighbors houses, she rarely let me stay over at friends’ houses…. I’m thankful (now) for my Mother protecting me. How different our lives were….

I don’t think that there’s many other people who are this brave. She has a type of bravery that cannot be bought, cannot be taught and it also cannot be contained. She’s remarkable. We give accolades to people who are brave for their sporting abilities or intelligence. But this woman is stronger then anyone I’ve ever heard. She deserves a Nobel prize for this display of courage.

So many children have died during the immense torture and so many are grown adults today thriving through life. Sexual abuse is the worst type of abuse you can inflict on someone especially when it is done by family member. My heart breaks so much for these children!
I am a survivor of sexual abuse from age 5-19 by my dad. It started out with inappropriate touching then kissing making me touch him. By age 12 he had a vasectomy which gave him the chance to go the next level without getting me pregnant. He forced me to look at pornography and told me that’s what he was going to do to me and he eventually did. I would plead with him to not do this because he was my dad and it was wrong but he told me he was doing it because he loved me. At age 16 he set me up on a date with his boss. I went out with his boss but I didn’t like him he was an octopus and I had to fight him off to get out of the car. My dad was mad at me. The next day this guys wife called me. I told her I didn’t know he was married and I wasn’t planning on seeing him ever again. My dad knew he was married. Now I know why he was so upset. Had I let his boss have his way with me my dad would have gotten a sum of money. Between age 13-20 I tried to commit suicide 3 times. But praise the Lord God helped me. It wasn’t until I was in my 40’s before God gave me the strength to forgive my dad. I know this that God allowed me to use my pain to help others who have gone through this kind of abuse. I saved a 13 year old girl who was in my parents care from going through this by finally being able to tell my mom what I had went through. Unfortunately my family blamed me and for 10 years had nothing to do with me. Then God dealt with me to forgive him. For the next 13 years I tried to build some sort of relationship with my father. But lies and manipulation continued and I wasn’t allowed to talk about the past so I was stifled from healing. But now I share my story to help reach the hurting people and hopefully reach those going through it to know they can find peace of mind and strength. I found it in accepting Jesus as my savior at age 9 and knowing He was with me and I survived to use my testimony to help others 🙏🙏🙏

I absolutely agree, I have suffered extreme emotional abuse, it’s no wonder I have never had one not even one successful relationship or marriage, I have forgiven but it rears it ugly head when the relationship begins to become physical, and I cannot cope because things that I have witnessed. Though my heart and soul goes out to Anneke there is one thing that is bothering me....when she keeps saying that these people have their own, "suffering, past abuse, addiction," etc, it ALMOST erases them from accountability. I was molested as a child. I never went on to abuse. My mother was brutally raped repeatedly by her father for YEARS...she did not go on to abuse. Anneke, was horribly abused and yet that is 3 out of 3 people who did NOT go on to abuse. They were adults...what we do as adults, is OUR CHOICE TO DO OR NOT...stop giving them excuses for what they did to you, Anneke. Not everyone who abuses, was abused. These are people who have sold their souls to the devil..THEY ARE EVIL...they CHOSE EVIL...PERIOD.
And you were all not part of the group, if you grow up in a family that all do this, it's like a mental cage. Being an abuse survivor. I find it so difficult to pray for myself. Even as a child I would want to pray for myself. I knew and know so many have it far worse than I did. I always change my prarys for others who have it worse. I was lucky enough never to be raped. True, I was infact abused. But to heal after what this woman and so many others. I watched one video of a man who testified to briefly experiencing Hell after he died and was revived - of course we can’t be certain he is telling the truth, but I do believe in Hell - and he said that in Hell demons can pierce you with implements over and over again, and you feel death, but you can never die again. I believe horrible things such as this are awaiting the worst of mankind, such as those unrepentant and soulless monsters who abuse children in this manner. I cannot imagine anything worse than it must feel then to know you are eternally separate from God and His love - so it’s a good thing that only those who are absent of empathy, guilt, shame and/or repentance shall experience it… I truly believe that when the Bible warns us “not to gain the world and lose our souls,” it can mean more than coveting and acquiring human riches, shunning God, chasing the wrong things with repentance and losing your soul in death- I believe it also means that if people choose to, they can become absent of and reject the soul God gave them, and this is why sociopaths are what they are. The Bible talks of the reprobate of mind and I believe this is them.
Of course, it’s horrible to think of things like these and I do not exactly rejoice in brutality and gore or human suffering of any kind - but for a long time I did imagine these things towards the one who scarred me beyond recognition and others like him, with a grim satisfaction. It was sometimes the only thing that brought me comfort, imagining the suffering in store for him since I was powerless.
But God has brought me to a place now, quite recently, of greater healing and closure than I ever thought possible on this side of Heaven, and I believe He can do the same for any survivor that opens their hearts to Him and prays for healing, provided we grant Him our trust and time, and don’t completely give up on Him. I myself didn’t do this often enough and I even cursed his name, accused him, forsaken him many times over, even after He saved me at fourteen years old, but in the deepest rock bottom pit of depression I was ever in - and I’ve had this life long - He unexpectedly delivered me. I was probably the closest I’ve ever been to taking my own life, and I’ve been suicidal since a child. He heard my cries and He answered; that’s how gracious, long suffering, merciful and loving He is.
He has been working in me on giving me a heart more like His, with time, and it sticks with me that God is not desiring that any perish and I feel this now in my heart - but I also know that most of these monsters choose to never repent, nor feel any sorrow or guilt over there desires or actions, so then I have to entrust it all to Him who vengeance belongs to. Because God knows what children and even adults suffer at the hands of these fiends.
My memories, my scars, will always be with me on this Earth and healing is not linear or complete in this life, that much is true - but I do not so much dwell on the past, in the corner of my mind, feeling the anguish weigh heavily on me in each and every moment as I did for so, so long.
It is still my story to tell in hopes of helping others who have suffered a similar way and seeing them saved by Jesus, and in hopes of saving others, particularly, children from the same fate we’ve suffered - and I believe He can bring us all greater healing. Our ultimate hope, however, is that one day, when we’re with God in His kingdom, there will be no more anguish or pain or scars of any kind.

The thing which has struck me the deepest from this talk is what Anneke said right near the end: when she pointed out that we live in a societal structure in which the worst people are at the top. They are the ones who are the most addicted to power and willing to do whatever it takes to get there and then to keep themselves there. Meaning that they don't care who or what they exploit along the way.
And the ladder is built on top of everyone else who is also just trying to survive, in many cases, right down to the poorest and most disadvantaged at the very bottom.
Somehow this is the first time that I've heard this explained in such a way that I really see it clearly. I believe that it is - for the most part - true. How are we going to change this?

I have never allowed myself to watch anything like this (I am a 58 year old woman who has never been sexually abused). I never allowed myself to watch because it is so disturbing but today I did. This woman and all people who have experienced this horrific abuse deserve to be heard. My question is...after seeing this, I really am upset with men and I adore all the men in my life. It makes it tough to understand how they can behave this way. It seems like the men (and maybe many woman) who have lots of money and power become indifferent to humanity and dignity. When I was a therapist I would often have clients with seemingly intractable illnesses, emotional and physical, and all kinds of social dysfunction that seemed to have no obvious source. Until the truth was uncovered. It was usually sexual abuse in early childhood. The memory remains in the body and the deep subconscious even if the person can not recall it. It comes to them masked as other things and it is horrible.
I haven't thought about that before. 🤔 I know that therapists try to work with childhood traumas, (emotional, physical or sexual) but it is so hard because first memories comes from 4 years but at that age basic psyche is established. So how do they know what happened to them?

It's splitting personalities, programmed personalities that will kick in with specific words, images or sounds. Even when someone survives after childhood, they're often left with serious mental issues.

I was sexually abused at school and at home in the same year, both times I told adult women and not only did they do nothing but they slut shamed me. My depression was so bad that when I went back to school, I looked so different (obesity and unkept) that my old friends literally did not recognize me.

I had a family member that was 10 yrs older than me. I thought I was special. I thought I was the only one he really loved. He was the youngest adult in our family, so I was “in love “ with him. I was 8. He was moody and most times he acted like I didn’t exist, but when he was in the mood to pay attention to me, he was sweet and loving. I would do whatever he wanted to make sure he was happy with me, but it didn’t matter..the next day, I didn’t exist again. I grew up thinking that I had to make men love me, I had to do whatever they wanted to make them happy.
I found out years later that I wasn’t special, and I wasn’t the only one…my sisters were being molested too!

The saddest and most heartbreaking part of Ms Lucas's testimony is the realisation that these pedophiles who did this to her, are the most powerful figures in society. You talk the way I talk. Very thorough, informative, very descriptive, and to the point. I have never heard another person put into words about your consciousness lingering in the fabric of a lamp. I’ve been through something similar. I’ve never had any counseling and I’m 54 yrs old now. Any time I went into deep detail ,telling someone that I trusted , they would always tell me to “stop. I don’t want to hear any more. It’s depressing. It was a long time ago. Let it go”. The sad thing was is that by telling them I was letting it go. I’ve carried it around for most of my life. I found that by helping others that have been through the same thing helped me heal. By telling my story to someone that wanted to hear it not only helped them but healed me. It’s a wonderful thing by the simple act of giving you in turn get.

I have a traumatized brain as well and I have tried to rebuild myself, but it is not possible. Abusers ruin lives and make it about survival for victims, and not living. Complex PTSD is no joke. I feel blessed I found this channel because I can relate. At my age it is too late for many things but feeling connected gives strength. I hope the next few generations will bring healing, so that peace and empathy for all living beings will override all this dark in the world.

Knowing about children who were much worse off than me is what helped me survive the betrayal of my mother selling me and the loss of a year of my life. I commend you for seeking and doing the work to heal.
I have tried several times but my first counselor said they didn’t think I remembered correctly because those things didn’t happen back then. I never went again. I lost a year in 1980. My mom worked in a coke lab and was a dancer in the 70’s. I was hospitalized at 18mths with alcohol poisoning and raped for first time at 3. I saw my mother murder a man. These things have been around for decades before the internet. It’s just more easily accessible now.
God bless you. I have accepted my situation and am at peace now. I am grateful to say never once did I feel guilty. I always knew they were sick. God held me then as he does now. I am grateful it wasn’t worse and that I survived.

We went to the cop … not knowing he was friends with our dad .. the cop told us to stop lying .. then boom his step daughter .. a year older than me reported him for raping her for years … this stuff is common but ignored … I’m still healing and I commend this lady for sharing her story .. my heart really goes out to her bc her eyes carry a lot of pain …

As a woman who was abused and has healed, can I give advice?
Women and men are both needed, we compliment what we can give our world. I have both a boy and girl, I am a mom, they are light.
My advice is, find your INNER power. Connect to Earth, connect to the sun, and the moon. Pray/chant/affirm what you want to receive from the universe.
Our power is within and no one can snuff that out - it just feels like it for a period, a phase.

I am also deeply humbled and grateful for not having experienced sexual abuse, and for the fact that the men in my life were all kind and gentle and nurturing. The relationships I had with men have healed me from the emotional neglect and abuse I experienced by my mother. The men in my life were angels to me. They showed me so much love. I think there are many survivors of sexual abuse watching this video, and it breaks my heart that their trust in men may forever be lost. This is so revolting, but riveting to hear her recount what happened in that one instance where she was raped by that man with the "silly lips" who "looked like a gorilla" and all she did to cope and survive in that moment....at 10 years old. 10. How she used her own intelligence, coping skills and ability to detach to survive that event is extraordinary but so unbelievably heartbreaking. What the hell is wrong with these men? It is so foul that I don't even have the proper words to describe what evil monsters they are to do this to children.
