As an INTJ, that was accurate. I overthink every gesture I do around people whom I like. Yet, sometimes, I can act really rude towards them just to hide my feelings.
Question, because I think the person I was interested in is an INTJ. He depicted this behavior and in the beginning hinted to his tendency a little. When you act rude to hide your feelings, are you intentionally trying to push them away so you donât enter any relationship with them? As an INFJ myself I found this representation pretty accurate and relatable. However, Iâm trusting MBTI theory less and less, I find it simplistic. Moreover, many characteristics ascribed to a certain psychological type are actually universal. For example, in this circumstance, who won't feel this way?
I'm not sure if i can agree with you on that one because that's the only one i found relatable as an "INFJ". The others... nah i don't think i would ever act that way. And same goes for the our example i don't think most people have the empathy/heart/compassion/will(or whatever you wanna call it) to stay completely normal in front of their crush and continue the talk for the other person's sake while they themselves are dying inside

@@elliem.9408 That is a hard question, but I would say just be honest with him, but also be kind and compassionate in the manner and tone that you tell him. Try to be considerate of his feelings and reaffirm that you do enjoy having a relationship with him even if it's not a romantic one. We really appreciate honesty even if it might hurt at first. We appreciate and value the honesty after the initial sting of rejection, and this is coming from personal experience.

For other INFJ's out there. I have been through a lot when it comes down to love and not being treated well. I set clear boundaries now especially if women do it like this. For self care i keep the convo short and still listen, but then cut off. I close the door to that person as well, cause most women do know how you feel about them naturally and if they like you back and still pull this, they do not deserve you. I also then move on. I won't let me be dragged down by it, cause life is worth more then someone who lacks any sense of empathy towards you.

2:36 really hits different: Iâm an ENFP and when I asked my crush out to prom and she said no, my English teacher overheard me talking about it in class with my friends and he played a clip from napoleon dynamite in class to cheer me up. He didnât announce his reason for doing this to the class but afterwards he talked to me separately said he hoped that I appreciated it and that he hoped I didnât find his humor mean or mocking.
That was without question the best English teacher Iâve ever had.

Well, people get anxious when I stare them down so if I look for signs of anxiety and I find it then I'll know to manually change my facial expressions.
