Spent one night on the Kidd. The air flush toilets were crazy. I also worked at Lamberts Point Deperming Station. We wrapped ships in cables to “de-permanent” the ships magnetic field to allow the degaussing system to work. The Philadelphia Experiment sound like someone saw a ship wrapped in cables and heard “invisible”. Invisible to magnetic mines yes. Your eyes? Not so much.
"Air flush toilets?" Which KIDD? Not 661, surely? 993? 100?
Does Kidd have vacuum flushing? That might be what the OP was referring to.
@@JoshuaTootell: Nope. Just regular toilets. Even back in active service, everything went straight out the side of the ship.

We actually considered using that as a fundraiser. But, no, ... the answer is none. It was NJ and OLYMPIA crew only.

All the splashing and interruptions made this very hard to listen to.
Sorry to hear that. This episode actually had fewer splashes than normal. The highway noise, however, was worse on SLATER than on KIDD.
Clearly it is aliens and you are being forced to pretend it was a degaussing test, I am going to watch your blinks to see if you are sending morse code.
