YES!!!!! I have been trying to find out what this movie was for almost 30 YEARS!!!.. I remember watching some of this back in high school. Our class never had time to finish the whole movie. I have been trying to remember what this movie was ever since. The only part that I have been able to remember was 1:24 to 1:35 . I have been asking people for many years if they know of "a movie that has a scene where a man is laying down in a bed (maybe at a hospital?) and disappears in a big ball of light". Nobody I asked has remembered it or been able to help me find it... BUT FINALLY after ALL of these years, THIS IS IT!!!
Amazing!! Glad you've connected with it. Have you had a chance now to watch the whole movie? [Tu12-10-19-0217E]
Fantastic bro... and i am too trying to find an old song i have remember song releases day 1990 to 1993 and its cassette cover picture is a robot ( a small white robot ) if i hear that song i can easily identify... it was a fast song.. do you have any clue... thanks
Congrat
You can stream it on Hoopla.
Best feeling
I think i watched whole movie in trailer itself
Me too thing
Exactly!
Just like today's trailer's 🥴😂
They need to make a new one with the updated technology. Would be epic.
they dont. The movie is good as it is.
Honestly just make it 4k but other than that naw
There is a newer one on Amazon. Havent watched it yet. Was made in 2013 I think.
There is even a part 2
The 2012 remake is really bad compared to this one. This is better than the modern one, surprisingly!👍
Surprisingly, this one looks like a better movie than the 2012 remake.
Lol, 1941 Sailors with 80s haircuts.
A riveting and engrossing screwy time travel rollercoaster ride of a sci-fi motion picture......put this one in your movie library now!
Loki episode 5 referenced this movie. The USS Eldridge was featured in the episode.
This is a pretty cool film. I like that it took the premise seriously but had some fun too.
I just remembered the warships and it took me to the final countdown, then a link to this movie brought me here I was so young watching this movie. I just remember the dude Axing the glass tubes. Nostalgia at its best.
YES!! I was just a kid when I saw this too. For years the only scene I could remember was the guy axing the tubes. I never thought I'd actually find this movie.
Watched this as a kid, a movie ahead of its time.
The trailer told us the whole plot
the old trailer that gives away all the story!!!
I used to watch this movie a lot when I was a kid, time goes by
This looks like a movie Troy McClure would be in.
and mcbain
In case you didnt get the movie title...is:
The Philadelphia Experiment
I remember seeing this and the sequel when I was a kid. For some reason the name Herdeg stuck in my head, I remember hearing someone say it in the sequel.
"Where the hell is the clutch?" - "It's automatic." - "What's an automatic?"
Lmao I'm still driving manual in 2023!
dont bother watching the movie cause everything interesting was in the trailer
Aside from the genuinely disturbing part where the bodies of the experiment victims are all fused into the ship
I saw this at the movies back in 1984. I think this story is true !!!!
It’s true
@ventues9751 it’s based off true events, but not explained fully how it happened
It is not just a movie , it is a true story
Nikola Tesla¿
@@99.9percent9 Yes it is !!!
Got more truth? Hmu kindly.
Time travel is REAL
Sure iz
One second per second forward.
The travel they did do is witnessed by those kids grown up.
One guy went back to Mauntok and retrieved some of the equipment and still photographs.
There's certain years they can do things. You will notice 1983 is consistent in these stories.
Then they have to wait again.
For the possibility, the power, and the involvement from companies that want to do more.
Some bad fires occurred, people aged, it was hushed.
You have to listen to those three guys and see their evidence it was their reality.
I remember this movie from the 80's. Is was pretty cool!
This is all real. They make movies to tell us it’s fake.
Slow disclosure to make it gentle for the public to take it in slowly without general panic. Same as how the elites have been giving plots to Hollywood 'Sci-Fi' since the 50s
That was intense.
1:42 Ned? Ned Ryerson?? BING!!!
Wade Howlett you win the internet for the day sir
This is crazy! I literally just got finished watching Groundhog Day on Netflix then decided to pickup where I left off on CZcams from yesterday and I found this.
Firing a missile at a spacetime anomaly always works.
It was a missile carrying a camera, not a warhead.
I love how they call the Philadelphia project science fiction
😂
@@thanos7045 maybe because the way it's depicted here IS science fiction
It is a probe to see into the vortex.
Is that Ned ryerson? I sure as heckfire remember you.
Yeah, & when he says, "Oh my God there it is."--I think my 7 year old niece could've done a better job saying that line.
Needle-Nose Ned? Ned The Head?
Who would like more of a people fused to ship and remaining suffering terrible hallucinations one?
The Philadelphia Experiment was no movie, no piece of Science Fiction, this was based on real life , thats the scary part
The true cover is they were trying to lift ships out of water to dodge torpedoes and ended up creating anti gravity technology that was applied to metal ships in the air
Got more truth? Hmu kindly.
No its not. Maritime horrors made a video debunking this.
LMAO 😂🤣
@@BlackPhantom_II the amount of people who believe this crap without actually doing any research is astounding, the Philadelphia Experiment was a hoax created by a guy name Carl. M Allen, he first mentioned it when writing letters to Morris Jessup who at the time was an Author of several UFO books
2:48 Haha, is that the Terminator font?
hahaha yep
Synopsis
It says “based on an actual event” 😂😂
It indeed is. Look it up.
The movie is exaggerated, I’m sure, but there’s a lot of theories on this event.
“Dark side is calling now nothing is real....”
Why do 80's film trailers have so much narrator exposition?
Because back in the day, trailers were just looked at as commercials for movies. These days, film trailers are an art form unto themselves. CZcams really is responsible for showing us the possibilities of film trailers.
😂
Coz the people doing this are in the 80s and not so advanced.
@@c.greystone9825 Because people today are more advanced how?
Eddie??? The Cruisers called and want you back!
It's Einstein's Chronosphere :)
Kane lives in death!
0:42 "this wasn't suppose to happen"
that's a familiar line 🐊
Here from STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW podcast xD
For some reason there is a bit of literature on it, splitting off on the MONTAUK EXPERIMENT.
It is a vortex, or time wormhole that was created with the radar cloaking technology.
Yep Eistenian and Teslan Physics weren't quite refined. Anyone got the script?
I remember this movie - it's decent sci-fi.
This is damn near a documentary
Nancy Allen :-P
Feels like a twilight zone episode.
Or the outer limits. Maybe but still this a good sci-fi movie. It's one of my favourites from the 80's
Watching this tonight on DVD. Looking forward to it.
That was one heck of a time-jump...luckily for them ice helped out.
Ok what’s hilarious is I just watched the second movie with Marjean Holden in it and there’s a new movie that came out in 2012 with Gina Holden
Was it good
best documentary ever haha :)
a movie with a time traveling Eddie Wilson
what not to like LOL
Bing! Ned Ryerson.
Did that guy ever have hair?
0:15 the whole wall shakes when he lifts the lever, lol. Try building sturdier props next time.
😂😂😂😂
Watched the whole movie. Its aww! So cool!
Rly

I extremely hated it when people say I believe you believed it happened
Best mystery ever; did this really happen?😳
Yes , but the real Experiment took place in August, that has to do with the biological rythm of the earth. Like most movies they show more truth than we can Imagine ...
The military created something that interfered with radar. They did not create a vortex or have crazy illness and injuries. That part was an elaborate hoax that was finally revealed fully - ironically for this movie - in the 1980s.
@@FelidaE_FairYtaLeNo it was heavily confused with degausing which is electric cables that are all over the ship meant to make the ship "invisible" to german magnetic mines.
the 80s.. wow.
I believe that you believe it 😂
I hate that they faked the real story from what actually happened, wow
Shooting a guy into that vortex the lightning hitting you is not even a thought. Screw getting torn apart. I don’t think he would’ve made it past the lightning as his body is a big water filled conductor. Still a good movie though.
So we finally know uss Eldredge went to the void and alioth ate them 😂😂😂
Edit: Loki episode 5 reference.
Thanks to project paper clip it made teleporting possible.
Did loki got something to do with this incident as well?
Do you know what those vacuum tubes cost today????
Murphy,its you!!
This trailer almost showed us the ending of the movie.
This looks like a comedy lol
I need Christopher nolan on the new 1 asap
2:40 2:41 2:42 2:43 2:43 2:44 2:45 2:46 2:46 2:47 Epic.
Love these old “trailers” after which you dobt need to watch the movie anymore
Here after Loki lol
Starring Martin McFly
I already liked this movie, and i see it was produced by John Carpenter, the scary movie guy! Even better!
They should remake this.
The Philadelphia Experiment is the raw material for an adventure story with cool fantasy elements and background to the fantasy elements. Instead, it was distorted into a boring and meaningless love story (I am trying hard to remain civil!). Not Recommended!
ONCE I SEEN THE POP THE COKE CAN "HOW'D YA DO THAT" SCENE AND I FIRST HEARD THE RUNNER SONG I WAS HOOKED; BUT SADDENED AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE THE SONG WAS OVER ALMOST AS SOON AS IT STARTED!
THEN A FRIEND TOLD ME "WELL YOU KNOW ITS ON THE SOUDTRACK!"
AND WHEN I HEARD THE TRACK RUNNER @ITS ENTIRELY; I WAS BLOWN AWAY🤯👍!
ON TOP OF IT ALL; THE SONG WAS WRITTEN BY
MANFRED MANN....
THE SAME GROUP THAT BROUGHT US
BLINDED BY THE LIGHT!
CAN YOU SAY..... BONUS!!!!!
😎👍!
MANFRED MANN.....YOU JUST GOTTA
CHECK THEM OUT! THEIR SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!
They really sucked at making trailers back in the early 80's
Back to the future teaser one was cool
2018? Anyone?
2019 ;)
Official Discorderiz 1943
March2019
I think this trailer is the whole movie.
Owner of this idea is NIKOLA TESLA
bagus banget jalan cerita film nya,,,,,hebat,,, luar biasa,..
Looks cheesy and fun
Its real
Nikola Tesla.
This is good movie
glenn miller in the mood! Cool!
Yes, I’ve been thinking of all the remakes , they - Netflix? - should redo this movie with bigger budget, better FX and script although this original movie was good.
This is a documentary
lol
Yeah man I swear it happened
The Philadelphia experiment was on the right path of discovery of warp fields using magnetic power, America just gave up of discovering a new power to the future, magnetic door ways were right there to be ,a door way to stars and in between worlds, the universe itself is based upon magnetic principles.
They never gave up..you just don't hear about it anymore. By now it's perfected.
It's also a matter of National Security; International countries do not need to have privy to any discoveries or experiments. We must stay on top (or at least wing it! Fake it until you make it!)
or give the appearance that we are more advanced in Astrophysics, Math, technology, and so on.
Wow remember that dude this is old
Does he make it back?
Here from reading about Al Bielek
20 Tahun (1984-2004) 2 DEKADE
Beer Biceps.
I'd like to see it on Blu-ray
Wonderful trailer! This could have been one of the best science fiction movies IMO. The original story is absolutely great, but not the plot and not the implementation.
In reality IMO:
1. there were no such an experiment :)
2. there was some kind of experiment, but completely different: degaussing the ship, which sounds reasonable. Maybe with a fire or accidents, but nothing like that. :) IMO in reality no 4dimension - ufo - timetravel stuff happened.
Perfectly articulated
i’ve studied all the information that’s available and seen nothing about to seamen transported into the future 😵💫now i’m convinced it’s just a story👎🏻
Came here after BeerBiceps podcast with Abhi from AbhiandNeu
Nice
Screw the Oscars for not caring for all these absolute classics. What's so great about the God Father films anyway.
What have you done Einstein ?
Literally 1984
this is the longest trailer ever
"From the director of Mac and Me"
Wow that is wretched lol.
Loki bring me here
