Hefting both poly/wood beehives & feeding bees in winter

This video shows how to heft ‘weigh’ your hives with the use of average (finding the heaviest hive in the apiary and then comparing the best weight) ‘both wood and poly hives’
The weather has been horrendous both here and world wide, and the poor bees are in the middle of it all. In the new year, both January and February you need to make sure your bees have enough food through these winter months. At this moment the bees will be clustered so be gentle with the hives. Monitor until the spring build up where the bees can then forage with less difficulty.
‘You can also weigh your hives by measuring but this is not that sort of video’ we show a quick and easy way of going about it.
