What u expect with this airport? Turbelance, X winds. Its 1 of the most 'dangerous' airports on earth. I was there 1 week ago. I loved the landing and takeoff. Impressive. 1 of the better ones ive seen. And i flew at least 20x

beautiful approach and really nice touch down. shaky coming in, must of been a bit gusty but just before touch down I love how smooth and nice you had her.

I gave my like, because I know how difficult it is to walk until I can sit in this pilot's seat, and also make a landing like that, which for me is one of the most difficult moments of a flight!

The wind limits in Funchal are well specified. A responsible man is not the one who faces the winds and fly the aircraft towards a thunderstorm. Is the one who knows the limits and never puts any one (passengers) or anything (aircraft) in danger. This is another story that went well in the end! Lets hope that for the sake of passengers it keeps like that.
That's where the adrenaline rush comes in. Landings and takeoffs are real piloting skills, forget the auto piloting landings..the manual stuff like this is the game..
Stupidly flickering displays - maybe causing subliminal fatigue (through brainwave entrainment etc.) in certain pilots - better display driver software not that difficult in this era.
Considered the most challenging airport in Europe and in the top 10 more dangerous in the world. Crosswinds. I'm from Madeira, many hundreds of landings were ok, not to windy, but I had my share of scary landings, flights rerouted to Porto Santo, and a lot of go-arounds. I've seen people scream, crying and pale as a ghost on windy days.

Totally agree, but also would say for musical choice, it could have been so much worse a musical track. Thankful this one isnt too hard on the ears.
