Definitely the best video for seeing how these guys go together. Seriously thank you guys for making this. I just installed this kit yesterday and will say , I kinda freaked when I heard 5-6 hour time frame.
But took it as a challenge to beat..lol
Was able to get it done in just under 4 hours. But I was also taking my time with everything as this was my first time dealing with this kit.
Everything turned out great, only thing I recommend is not having your light cables cross where the grill seals to the radiator support for directing the air to the radiator. I brought my cables up from the bottom where it seems to be completely out of the way. As opposed to having them go to one side.
Good light output for the size lit up plenty for the size. But yes could define a bit brighter for all the work they require to put in. 😉

That was a very well explained mod install. You did a terrific job and that truck looks way cooler with these lights. On video you come across most excellent. Thank you for sharing your skills with us. If I may please add one positive note? Before fully reattaching the grill check that the lights actually work and there is not a short in the system. I learned the hard way when I installed a 20in light bar into the grill of my 2006 Nissan Titan! A few rows of the light did not come on. Very good and informative video. However, after separating the grill from the shell, you can also separate the outer grill from the inner grill. Then you won’t have to tape the outer grill to protect it when cutting. I used a Dremel tool with 1 1/2” cutting wheel which worked well. No chattering from the reciprocating action or a jig saw. I have a Laramie which has fender flares that had to be removed in order to get the covers above headlight off. Had to remove inner fender wells so I could depress flare clips while pulling them off. There are posts on 5th gen Ram site stating that you can just pull on flare and pop them off but I didn’t want to chance breaking any of the clips. The worst part of the job was removing flares and the covers above headlight. The front fastener just didn’t want to release without a little help from a trim removal tool.

I just installed them today 12/30/2020 on my 2019 Ram 1500 limited. Only modifications I had to do was cut the black outer trim brackets with a grinder. They look awesome and everything else the same. I cut the grill as they do in this video however I left about 1 inch of black grill on both sides of the light so I had something to mount the brackets against on backside of grill. I used the black long bolts supplied with washer and lock washer instead of the silver bolts you see on front of bracket (not long enough).
