Desi Arnaz was a drunken, abusive, gambler. However if it weren't for him the two camera angle and his producing things really progressed because of his insight and intelligence. I Love Lucy â¤
He wasn't such an addicted abuser until later in their marriage but yes......nonetheless an abuser who couldn't keep it in his pants to save his life. However he created the three camera angle, not two. He was an absolute television pioneer and a fab businessman.

He was not an abuser. Lucy herself said he never struck her. He cheated and was an alcoholic (due to the stress of his workload). But he was never an abuser
IRL Desi was jealous about all the attention Lucille got. She was more famous than Desi and he was upset for it.

Not fond of Lucy being snappy or petty here with Ethel, unsure what the writers were aiming for but feel like Lucy deserved better or funny lines. But she had a right to be angry....the writers also missed an explanation for the magazine spread ..in order to promote Ricky as a handsome singer and attract adoring female fans ..you sure don't focus any attention on his having a wife....
