NHL Legends Reflect On Bob Cole
#NHL #Hockey #Canada - Sport
HNIC isn’t the same without Bob Cole. As a Red Wings fan, loved hearing Bob Cole announce the games. May he RIP
What a great tribute to a legendary broadcaster!!
Few possess the talent to tell a story - on the fly - in such a way that if you close your eyes, you can envision EVERYTHING that's going on - Bob Cole was such a guy!! His enthusiasm through every play - building as the game went on - perfection!
For over 40 years of my life, he was the voice of hockey - Hockey Night In Canada - every Saturday night...Oh Baby...RIP Bob!
That voice, reminds me of better times.
Bob Cole & Harry Neal simply legends
Bob Cole was amazing, I grew up thinking of him as the voice of hockey. The way he intensified what was happening on the ice, especially in the last minute, made the game so much more fun to watch. I'm not a Leafs fan and never have been, but I will never forget one of the OT calls Bob Cole made where Stumpy Thomas deked past a few players and scored the game winning goal for the Leafs. The way Cole called it, it was like he knew after the first move that Thomas was going to do something special at that moment. Bob Cole made the wow moments feel even more intense and so much more entertaining to watch.
Loved Bob Cole. CBC Windsor. Being a Red Wings fan always loved how he said Deetroooit
My favorite Bob Cole call was when Steve Yzerman scored in double OT against the Blues in 1996.
Bob, may you rest in peace. You put such excitement and passion into your play by play. You were unbiased no matter which team, just joy. I love what you said "you're there to enhance the game not steal it."
Rest Easy Bob, your legacy lives on in our hearts forever.
RIP Bob Cole thanks for the years of exciting calls
I believe that Bob Cole was a Canadian father figure. When he was calling a game fans saw him as someone to look up to and admire and we always will. May he RIP
He was the best family member we've never met but always felt like we knew him. He was always with us in our lives.
Hope one day. For NHL future a.i. voice will be Bob and Harry.
Him and Foster Hewitt are the pinnacles of hockey broadcasting in my opinion. There are other great play-by-play broadcasters: Rick Jeanerette, Gary Thorne, Doc Emrick, maybe a handful of others. But they really captured the spirit of hockey.
The Legend of Hockey Night in Canada FOREVER and BEYOND Bob Cole The GOAT of NHL Broadcasting
He's forever connected to so many memories, friends and family gathered for playoff hockey with his masterful performance of what was taking place on the ice.
RIP Bob Cole. Thank you sir.
Thank you Bob and rest easy!
Incredible tribute!
Still get chills hearing his calls. Forever the voice for HNIC
There’s going to be one hell of a tribute tonight on HNIC , well deserved obviously
Love you Bob ❤❤❤
I mean, he's the voice of the sport. The voice of hockey. This one stings.
Bob Cole and Tom Larscheid shaped my NHL experience
Jim Robson and Larscheid for me. Cole and Harry too though for the big games.
Foster Hewitt, Rick Jeanneret and Bob Cole first names when you think of broadcasting
with your avatar you should be saying Jim Robson. lol.
@mb7196 He is up there but I won't let my bias blind me
He was the absolute best! Hands down!
Man I don’t even wanna watch if he’s gone 😢
Bob Cole and Joe Bowen are the 2 true legendary broadcasters.
Ohhh Babyyy
With all due respect, but Mr. Cole is not in the same league as Mr. Bill Hewitt, who is the greatest of them all.
Simply the best !!! Rest in peace Bob. You will always be remembered ❤
Pure class
