Fun fact: The voice of Olmec (the stone face) in Legends of the Hidden Temple is Dee Bradley Baker, one of the most prolific voice actors of all time.
Some of his credits include Appa & Momo in Avatar the Last Airbender, Naga, Pabu, & Tarrlok in Legend of Korra, Perry the Platypus in Phineas & Ferb, all the clones in Star Wars the Clone Wars, & Klaus in American Dad.
He also voiced Olmec in the movie and the adult reboot

Man, growing up as a '90s kid...we had Nickelodeon at its best, especially with the game shows. GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Nick Arcade, Wild and Crazy Kids, What Would You Do?, and Figure It Out...aww, man, what a lineup.

Same here. I got all of them. However, I was embarrassed for the teens who didn't recognize Chris Hardwick, Jenny McCarthy, Ben Stein and Jimmy Kimmel.
I also grew up watching Carmen San Diego.

I actually attended two different tapings of the Figure It Out show. The first time was in '97, and my friend and I were chosen, among several others, to sit behind the celebrity panel, and when Lori Beth Denberg got slimed, she threw her head back and splashed all of us sitting behind her. The camera cut to all of us laughing and wiping off, and I'm just sitting there with a look of absolute disbelief on my face 😂
They should've gotten points for Family Challenge because I'm 40 and never heard of it until now.

I remember Win Ben Steins Money, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Robot Wars (although not with Jeremy Clarkson as host) Robot Wars was the UK version of the show, when it was adapted for US audiences the show was called Battle Bots.
It was fun remembering some of the later to be famous people on these shows, for instance Jimmy Kimmel as co host on Win Ben Steins Money.
The "Legends of the Hidden Temple" reboot needs a second chance in a heartbeat! It needs to be the same as the original for today's kids and teens.
Y'all should have given more info on the shows, I legit would have KILLED to be on Legends of the Hidden Temple

for the robot wars one the one kid guessed battle bots the american version of the show. he should of got the point since their both the same..
Actually, Battle Bots and the American version of Robot Wars were different shows.
Battle Bots was ONLY the custom robots, while Robot Wars also had the traps in the arena and the house robots.
Family challenge looks like Double Dare, but I’ve never heard of Family Challenge.

Carmen Sandiego had 2 cartoons. The other was Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego on CBS

So happy to see my fav game show of all time (Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?) on this list, but several of these I never even heard of. Then again most of the 90s I only watched certain channels, like I loved watching Nickelodeon and Disney until the late 90s. Never watched MTV because I was more interested in VHS lol.
I was just coming to say this! They released it on the NES the same year it came out for PC. I played for hours on end. Still one of my favorite games.
@@jl7998 Yeah, my 2nd grade year, Where in the USA had just came out on PC and my school actually had it for our weekly computer class. It was my fav game and it was pivotal in my interest in traveling and learning about different places.

Legends of the Hidden Temple was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was kid! Fast forward to now, and believe it or not, I know someone who was on the show. One day at one of my old jobs I found one of my co-workers wearing a Green Monkey t-shirt. We talked a good while about it.
the a cappella group who did the theme song for where in the world is Carman Sandiego is called Rockapella and they are amazing! you should do at gen z/adults react to them.

I only missed American challenge (I said American gladiator) and robot wars (had no clue) every other one I got on the first clue... but then again I'm 36 years old so I watched most of them when they were airing.... the fact that no one recognized Chris Hardwick bummed me out since he's still working currently.
So did I! Except I'm 33 years old and I got Singled Out on the second clue because I didn't watch it when it was on the air. I also guessed American Gladiators instead of Family Challenge.

I love Legends Of The Hidden Temple so much that I'll never forget the title. When I'm old and dying I'll probably be saying things like "I hope I can watch Legends Of The Hidden Temple all day in heaven."

Ben Stein would come on before the UK version of Whose Line is it Anyway? so I wound up watching the show before Whose Line A LOT!

My favourite show is Who wants to be a Millionaire and I immediately recognise the symbol. I watch a lot of Nickelodeon back in the day and all of them are so fun to watch, I have always wanted to be in one of the show especially the Hidden temple. It's so fun. Kids these days saying it's dangerous. It's not, they have bumpers everywhere even in the 90's. They put styrofoam in the pits. So of course it's safe, if not, our parents wouldn't allow us to enter the game. So nostalgic though 😢

I think it's hilarious that they kept thinking Legends Of The Hidden Temple was called Temple Run. That last segment of each episode where the go into the temple was called the Temple Run, both by fans and officially by the crew. I know so many facts about this show, it's crazy. I am just obsessed. The soundtrack is great too. I listen to it often.
