Thank you for this documentary on Amy Beach. Such a gift she was, and continues to be, to the world. Our Wyoming Symphony will be performing her Gaelic Symphony this coming weekend. As a cellist, I will put more energy into this as I am newly inspired.
Preparing to perform a set of Amy Beach songs, and encountered this documentary! Such a great production! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed
I will do a dissertation about Amy Beach's Gaelic Symphony, I could not be more glad to have found this incredible resource about her life and compository work.
Glad we could help!
Wow she is awesome, and such beautiful music
Amy Beach was amazing!
Thank you for sharing this.
What a lady...god bless Amy Beach
Some vocal performances here do a disservice to the beautiful songs. Please!
What a great discovery. I'm so glad to have learned about Amy Beach and her music, and the keen insights of the time that the documentary presents.
Thank you for that. Very informative. I will add her to the Installation I've nearly finished...Women of Set Purpose and other Stories.
Liked Ms Gerk: she was well centered and did not make so much of a fuzz around the female factor. Plain and simple works best. Otherwise, I love Ms Falleta, but that’s another documentary.
