I first heard this song in a car leaving the roskilde festival with some random girls, I got drunk and they threw me out at a train station in the middle of nowhere. Met some of the ladies years later and they remembered me causing havoc, I remembered this epic song. Good ride.
Discovered this song on a Berlin-Prague train trip. A cloudy winter day outside, old snow fallen on the ground, the train moving smoothly through the landscape... just imagine how this song fits with this scene.

I love the song as a whole but the instrumental section towards the end is amazing
no exaggeration. this is better than that studio one.
I prefer their live performances to studio. Truly talented.
For repeat listening I'd much rather the studio. These live versions are definitely a gift and make you appreciate their other music more, but they can't quite nail the sound of the original

Why is it called Mohammed? Anyone?
Because of the lyrics and the life of prophet Mohammed (sav). At least thats my thought. When you listen to the original version of this song's intro, you'll realise the sound of "adhan" is play's at back of it. Maybe this is wrong for Islam idk I am not an expert for this

@@rasigead. ur english is fine. Was that really the adhan though? Did sound a bit like it. I think did hear Allahu Akbar in it. And it surely is wrong to do this to the adhan! But for them obviously not a big deal.
@@aunthaumv3711 they may have followed two different paths while composing this song: First, they may have written the lyrics first. the second one determined the name of the song and then wrote the lyrics. In both ways, they used music and values that are important to Muslims for their own music. And like you said, they don't care that much. They just make music, I guess they don't care about anything else. As a Muslim, it is not my place to say anything about how true it is, but while listening to the music, I only listened to the music part and frankly, I did not notice it at the first place. If anyone here were an expert on the topic, I think they would have said it was wrong, like you. And yes I think that was the adhan. Have a nice life
