I just watched this video for the first time and I’m totally blown away. I really just started listening to them on you tube and pandora. This song is really smooth and cool 😎!!
They got me through some tough times.
Feel like i'm listening to comfortably numb, davyan cowboy and weight of love at the same time. It's pretty funny how people you'll never meet can create something that tells you how you really feel about your life. Sadness isn't an enemy it's just the most truthful thing about life. It's just such a twist that to truly find the meaning of life you need to live through being sad day after day and not resort to drugs, self harm or cynicism. Listen to life, pay attention to your thoughts when they're the most raw. You're not your thoughts you're the one that listens to them. You still haven't lived the saddest days of your life. While you still can, help others and you'll be surprised how your life will change

Love the Dandys...they saved for me my deepest emotions of how great Rock music can be. My Daughter in Portland OR. turned me on to them around 2000, and I've been a fan ever since. Zia McCabe is so cool and beautiful...love em' all!

Yes - we can agree - Godless is Peerless - a Dandy Warhol masterpiece - twice perfected. First with their earlier (circa year 2000) full-bodied video version - infused with George Harrison “My Sweet Lord” threads and Burt Bacharach-like trumpet refrains - topped off with the visuals of the sensual swinging hula hoop hipster guy.
And thirteen years later they top themselves with this soulful jazzy mature performance with yearning vocals and instrumentation all threaded this time with a mysterious-sounding muffled trumpet.
You should write for YETI.
I mean, it's a good one, but it's literally just a pastiche Of BJM.

It's like the band has finally grown into this song. Early versions were just too happy. They were almost heretical to the pious severity of atheist dogma.
