Probably because he may be able to still stand but only for short periods which would also explain the limp (even if this theory is disproved)

I’m sure that Joey needing a wheelchair could be a result of the ink creatures, As it’s been proved he’s encountered them before in chapter 5 (it’s in an audio thingy) And rather then it being a time loop it could be that the tally marks and messages in chapter 1 Are actually Boris AND Henry, as the tally marks could be the amount of times a Boris clone has died. And all those messages predicting the futures “like the OUCH! One in chapter 2” Are actually the ink workers warning Henry. I dunno this is just a mini theory of mine probably a stretch but whatever.

Hey game theory, I was just thinking about Henry's voice recording. He said he has a new character, what he thinks everybody is going to love. And that part, when you had to collect a lot of thing for Alice (the objective always said collect 4 thing to complete it) And there is 3 character we know now about (Bendy; Boris; Alice) . So what if. . . there is one More character will show up. . . in Chapter 4 ?

I had this theory last week but
What if Henry is Dead?
Henry, the main character, died thirty years ago(hence why the letter says thirty years). Henry sounds too young to be older than 30 and his actions would make an elderly man probably die in the first chapter because of the fall. If not the fall, then a heart attack from... well... ANYTHING. His attitude towards everything seems too... CALM! He just sees a lifelike reincarnation of Boris and is like, "Oh. Boris is alive. He wants me to make soup. Ok, I'll make some soup."
What about the time when there is that random piano? Whenever you play it, there's screaming or groaning sounds. It might be because he's the cartoon animator AND music composer. Those sounds might be HIM, groaning and yelling because of his frustration from the past because he was a beginner at animation and such.
What about the recordings? The recordings could be what the previous co workers told him. Henry seems like an overall chill and friendly guy, so he would be easy to talk to. If you listen to the dialogues it would sound like they were talking to someone. They might've been in specific orders, but they DO sound like they were talking to someone. Why would they record their thoughts into a tape recorder and place them where anyone could find them? Why would they bring the tapes in the first place if it wasn't needed for music or voice acting for characters? It doesn't add up.
The game might be about how Henry is in a "Limbo" stage before he descends into heaven or hell. Think about it. Its impossible that there was just a bunch of random doors that were locked and unable to open. There is no reason for them to be locked unless it wasn't needed to be opened OR henry doesn't remember what the rooms were, just that there were doors.
Then there is the Opened chested Boris... Like I said, the ROOMS were the things that Henry remembered and the CHARACTERS, not the condition they were in or the conditions of the rooms.
Then i had another thought. He remembered that Alice had two possible actors and overall one of them became alice, but the other was very spiteful because of it. That might be why Alice has two personalities.
The INK might represent the amount of Sin Henry has caused to others or himself. Maybe Bendy was an ink monster that chased him down because Henry signed Bendy, or his animations, to other people who could make him known for animations. Henry regrets that he did it since it limits him and gives him due dates for episodes. He began hating his job but not his character, he regrets selling off Bendy and that's why when he's in Limbo, Bendy would constantly chase him down.
What about Alice? Alice turned into an Ink creature too! Well, what if Henry actually caused Susie(previous voice actor AND Joey Drew's potential love interest??) to NOT become the voice actor of Alice? What if he gave pointers to Joey Drew about Allison's angelic voice and decided that Allison should be the voice actor instead of susie? He made Joey agree with him and that was why Susie was potentially angry with Joey. Maybe she told off Henry too, so henry perceived the two actors as the innocent one and the vengeful one. He caused them both pain(since Susie said she had to "do something about this") and regrets it.
And what about Boris? He seems like a jolly guy who just wants food! Well, that is until you think about the hundreds of other corpses of Boris. Actually, those might represent how Henry denied tens of hundreds of voice actors for Boris. They didn't have the right voice and were denied, and Henry took it too personally when they were disappointed they didn't have "the voice". But then there was that one perfect Boris. He ultimately ended up being taken by Alice Angel though right? Maybe that represents how Alice tried to manipulate that one voice actor... By alice, I mean Susie. But thats still unconfirmed since I haven't seen chapter four and We have no idea what Susie's plan was.
Then there was the projector. From chapter three. Remember them? Yaknow, the person with film reeds as their head and walks around with the light on and chases you if you walk into their light? Yeah. The projectionist. Anyways, The projectionist may represent how much Henry regrets animating or choosing animation. A great idea turned upside down in his world. That's why it walks in a LAKE of ink(Regrets or sins), because it is the main thing that wallows in the halls of his mind.
What about the butcher gang??? You know, those completely wack ink creatures? Slumps around and tries to kill you with wooden swords or swinging heads? Yeah, those guys. They might represent the other people he sold his animation to for money and recognition. I mean, there's alot of them and they come out from no where, trying to chip away at Henry's life, right? I would understand because if your animations grew more popular and bigger, then other companies would want to represent you with advertisements or trying to buy your animations out of no where, and animation was Henry's life.
Wow, I’ve always thought about that, just the way you presented it! But I’ve never been really sure...
So basically youre saying henry's in purgatory.
But Sammy’s the music composer.
It could also explain the abundance of Bacon Soup. Maybe he regrets selling Bendy to be used as an advertisement to the maker of the drink for extra money, because it would cause the voice actor for Bendy to work much harder as they would need to juggle the cartoons and the Bacon Soup ads.
But if that was true, How does the note get sent to him? If he was dead 30 years, it wouldn’t have made it to his location outside of town

We’ve already all but confirmed that bendy is about fleisher, but with bendy being in the wheel chair it reminded me of Disney. Walt Disney had to stop voicing Mickey because of his smoking habits, and in a very well known urban legend was cryogenically frozen: cheating death.
I personally think that the characters need a soul close to theirs to be complete. Joey cannot complete Bendy as Henry is closer to ‘who’ Bendy is. Alice Angel was voiced by two humans and both are currently fighting for control of her (hence why near face has two seperate halves). The only perfect Boris is the one Wally’s soul managed to inhabit (the broken ones in Alice’s lair had wrong souls so were incomplete according to her). Alice saying “I know why you are here” is her eluding to Bendy needing Henry to complete his transformation which she doesn’t want given their feud. I think the most interesting ending, if the above is true, is if Bendy abandons Joey to take over Henry.

I have always had some empathy and sympathy for Bendy, but i never looked at it this way. See, the way i saw it was, Bendy, Boris, and Alice were all trapped in the studio. They all, except Boris, got angry and decided to hate normal humans, because ya know, Susie Campbell and Joey Drew are Alice and Bendy, respectively. So, once Joey lured Henry in, he wanted Henry to become an ink monster like them. So, I've always had that empathy and sympathy for them because they've just been trapped there.

your right Your pal, Joey Drew. In chapter one he doesn't try to kill you he reaches for you as if wanting help. In chapter two he kills the one who captured you, and then you somehow get unbounded form the chair that held you down, after that in away leading you by scaring you and point the other way while chasing you. now in #4 he saves you.
This is just my theory, but I think Bendy kills the Projectionist because he changed behavior and actually noticed the Miracle Station. It is just bizarre to me how on the GT livestream the first few times that MatPat runs into the Miracle Station that the Projectionist simply turns away. It is only after you turn the switch, the lights turn off, and the Projectionist disappears that he will acknowledge and then attempt to open it while chasing you.
I do have to say that Bendy still does attempt to kill you in Ch 2 as you are running away from where Sammy had you tied up. If you run too slow, you will die. Also, in all of Ch 3 you can die from Bendy. Now perhaps there is a duality of consciousness in Bendy that differentiates Joey from Bendy, but I am not entirely convinced.
My assumption is that Joey/Bendy needs something from Henry, which is why he doesn't want anyone who isn't 100% under is ink collective to kill him. It might be possible that along a similar vein to how Evil Alice thinks a perfect Boris will make her complete/perfect, Joey thinks Henry can do the same. If it is true that Henry was the original creator of Bendy (because some have theorized that Boris was the character he had an ideo of) Joey may want Henry to become part of the ink as well.
TheMusicFan009 the only reason I don’t believe bendy means to kill you is because he is like a spreading flu. Everything he touches gets infected with the ink no matter what.
