- Abigail is the new horror comedy from Radio Silence, the same team behind Ready or Not. The movie centers on a group of criminals played by Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, and Kathryn Newton who unknowingly kidnap a ballerina vampire. The movie is bloody as hell, features tons of gore and violence - plus, lots of laughs. The characters are a joy to watch, especially Abigail, who is played by the insanely talented Alisha Weir. If you liked Ready or Not you will love Abigail.

Didn't see it till yesterday & this is a treat. Bloody good in every way due to the movie quality & also the much appreciated extreme gore.
Glad I didn't see the 2nd trailer prior. It gives away too many surprises.
Wonder why the general public doesn't like vampire movies anymore? Every one from the past couple of years has died at the box office...a shame.

I like that the movie was the flip of Ready or Not. One had a group of people hunting a damsel, in the other they were the hunted. But both have people hilariously exploding into a bloody mess.
Damn, that cast are some of my favorite actors right now. Can't wait to get out and see this. Couldn't agree more with you on Ready or Not, it's a perfect movie!
the one girl looked a smidge like scream queen super babe Linnea ? thats a good reason to give this a try ! wasnt a similar theme done in the :Tales of Halloween " anthology ?
I've been following Dan Stevens since The Guest, he always has fun with his characters ! I'm glad they went more for the 30 Days of Night vampire look for this one !

I enjoyed it. Though I DO think the trailers spoiled too much. Should’ve went in blind. I love how rhe climax ended and how Joey kept her promise to Abby even after finding out her true identity
I had an absolute blast with it…it was like Ready or Not with a vampire twist and a bit more gore but lots of fun 👌🎬🧡
The only nit-pick I had with the movie was that the trailers spoiled a lot of the scenes but overall it’s a good moovie

I absolutely LOVED this movie! I had so much fun with it, where the humor and horror balanced really well for me! There were parts int eh 3rd act that made me cringe a bit, but it did impact my experience with this film! Will keep recommending this film!!!
This sounds like bloody, gory fun! The killer ballerina reminds me of the one from Cabin in the Woods. :)

Lots of people hate that it has a verynslow start, but I truly don't mind it. I love a slow burn, like Watcher. The ending to that movie made the slow pace so well worth it. I can't wait to see this one
I didn’t mind the slow start either. I think it would have been cooler had I not known she was a vampire and that reveal happened
That’s the problem with horror trailers always give too much away these days…I’m trying not to watch them more going in blind for surprise value.

@@mandysmorgueofhorror I’m glad that it didn’t ruin it completely.😬I saw a few trailers before the film so I put my head down as they seemed to show a lot of action scenes..especially Tarot and Sting. 🙄I mean I get if they’re not big Hollywood films as they need to make money back…it’s just unfortunate…just do it like in the 70’s have a man narrating with that excited voice over but keeping it to just a teaser and no more…creates more excitement 😂👌
I thought it was good. Wish it was a tad more horror/scary and enjoyed the humor throughout only thing I didn’t like was a brand new vampire is as strong as a centuries old vampire guess I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to that 😅

TOTALLY AGREE! Like Abby is WAAYY older than that new Vampire like wth? Maybe it cus she’s trapped in a child’s body. Plus that new vamp was trying WAY too hard to be cool lol. He was trying to be Spike from Buffy lol
@@Rob_Jamesit's because he got that suprise hit on her and drained most of her blood, it left her in a weakened state.
@@francisbartoszewski2284 i could see that, but in other movies when a new vampire attacks an older one they just fling them off. The minute he grab her she was stuck like he was too strong which allowed him to bite her

Without a doubt, Abigail is over-hyped. No question. It's an okay watch even fun at times but the pacing was off. Aso, the director needed to do more with the Abigail character, so he dropped the ball there. I'll see it again in a few years but nothing memorable. Durand, Stevens, and Esposito made it watchable.
